The restaurant selection is good but deliveroo is garbage. Report cold food multiple times (check with restaurants and it's deliveroos fault) and you receive a generic automated email saying sorry. Nothing is ever done about it and you just end up with cold food again next time. Main reason being is they seem to send their push bikers too far out and they'll have them do multiple drops.

Much better customer service needed from deliveroo as currently you can never do anything about cold food.

Used to be great. I've used it for several years with no problems, but in the past six months Deliveroo have really gone downhill. Delivery times keep getting pushed back – from 30 mins to 40 mins to 50 mins then 1 hour 15 mins (from initial 30 mins?) Just give me a time and stick to it. Had to go to the chat box to get any idea when my last order would arrive (actually took 1 hour 5 mins in the end for a local place half a mile away), and then the chat host ended the convo mid-question. That's just rude. Prices have simultaneously sky rocketed. Used to be able to get a decent meal for two for less than 拢30 – now it's creeping past 拢45 with all their add ons. Very poor. Will be going back to ordering direct from local places and picking it up myself.

I made an order using deliveroo and first I was told it would there withings half an hour then 40mins then 45mins , there was no clarification of a definitive time when I would receive my order and when talking to the online representative I was met with sarcasm and ended the conversation I had to go through to another advisor to even get my money back it was the worst customer service I have ever experienced! And I will jot be using them again !

@Deliveroo shocking service ordered a simple KFC which arrived 15 mins after placing it! brought wrong order which was dumped on doorstep and freezing! mine still sitting in shop according to KFC but they couldn't send unless instructed by #Deliveroo and gave me contact number with automated service which doesn't work just keeps repeating message no! no response to email at support so tweeted and low and behold got message. Outcome is someone will contact me within 24 to 48 hours!. Are you serious what about my food?! Was told to keep or bin order I got how is that even ethical. My order probably now in bin too so they have no conscience regarding food waste! I never complain or write reviews like this but really made my blood boil. Worst company and srvice have ever come accross amd the robot on end of twitter just a jobsworth who couldn't care less but obliged to answer as was a public tweet! How hard would it have been to have fresh order re sent amd save all this!!! Apologies to whoever should have received order no 2897 as it sitting in my kitchen not even close to what I ordered so no co solution as wont be eating it. #Deliveroo hang your heads in shame #unethical #foodwaste #nocustomerservice and I see from on here I am not the only one appalled by your service and ethics!!

Shame I have to give 1 star deserves no stars. Delivery time kept getting pushed back once the food was collected from the restaurant. After 1 hour food not delivered despite tracking saying order complete. Customer services just said they can鈥檛 contact their employee. Completely ruined the evening and appalling customer service.

Loved deliveroo.. was very loyal to them too. But sorry, they have pushed prices up way to much now.. what used to cost 拢10-15 now costs 拢25-30 . They鈥檝e made it so you can鈥檛 order a decent priced takeaway for one anymore. I think my loyalty needs to go elsewhere now.

Some terrible drivers and terrible customer service! Food left on doorstop, was stone cold, driver did not knock. Contacted live help and all they did was give 10 quid credit on an account I now no longer want to use!

Use extreme caution when leaving house I walked out and was almost knocked down by there driver who was using public path as a road way just luck it was an adult and not a child.
Attitude regarding the issue was disgusting

Man this company is awful. Their drivers can鈥檛 figure out how to find addresses and ring doorbells. Their customer service are a bunch of Passaic鈥檚 aggressive a-holes. Just call the restaurant directly.

Food didn鈥檛 come after 2 hours with no confirmation on text or call, although money had left my account. Had to chase up for my food and they 鈥渇orgot鈥?to inform me that my order is void! Simply irritated by the service they provided just unprofessional!!

Booked an order with Giggling Squid through Deliveroo at 4.00pm for delivery between 7.30pm and 8.00pm. From 7.30pm onwards I got constant updates saying food being prepared but delivery time was being put back in five or ten minute increments. With delivery time showing as 8.10pm to 8.25pm phoned customer care number and whilst politely handled little was achieved, the message being that the driver was waiting at the restaurant. Whilst on the phone anticipated delivery time slipped further and then suddenly it indicated that food was on the way at circa 8.25pm with an anticipated delivery time for 8.55pm. With the distance from the restaurant to the delivery point being only 1.5 miles this seemed excessive for a journey which takes 5-7 minutes. Food arrived at 8.35 pm with one item missing and much of the order only lukewarm.

Driver went to a different address (even though they have been many time before) The driver asked me to give him something extra for having to travel 2 miles to my home! He was very rude and threatened not to bring my shopping if I didn't pay him something! He made the mistake! Never using them again!!!!

Our order was cancelled this evening with no warning, in fact the driver had our order and was at the wrong location due to a deliveroo error.

We ordered 1.5h ago on a quiet Sunday evening, and we were in contact with the driver to make sure he was OK. When he realised he was at the wrong address he ended the message contact. We had a call from deliveroo to find out our address, i gave it to them, it was correct as per delivery details. The women informed us that the delivery had been cancelled (despite our knowledge that the delivery driver had our dinner) as the driver had gone to the wrong address.

All she could offer was Credit, which i declined, and eventually a refund plus 拢2.50 credit. I was appalled. It was nearing 9pm on a Sunday, before we both went back to work tomorrow as key workers. Absolutely shocking.

I felt sorry for the offshore telephone operater. But clearly stated my upset.

It amazed me that this could be a possible outcome for a deliveroo local error. As I'm aware you're a proud and large company who relay on reputation and customer reviews. I wouldn't wish this on any of your paying customers.

I would have at least expected more than a 7% compensation to even consider ordering with you again.

Delivery time wildly inaccurate, changed from 65 mins to 1 hr 65mins literally the second I placed my order (via confirmation screen). Almost impossible to cancel order. Order through Deliveroo only if you dare!

The first time I used Deliveroo, service was fast and accurate. The second time it was fast but poor in terms of costumer service as the courier just dropped the order in front of the door and I couldn't even see him when opened the door.

I am not able to review restaurants and leave feedback because there seems to be some technical glitch with my account. Apparently you can only leave reviews when you get a 'pop-up' after you order has been delivered, so once that window of opportunity is gone that it. They said there was not much they could do and would apparently pass me on to a 'supervisor'. Seems like a massive oversight on Deliveroo's end that something as simple as reviews are not possible.

absolutely disgusting, i ordered nachos,pop and a waffle. they did not give me my pop. my nachos had two eye lashes in and the cheese was very old looking and cold. i鈥檝e wasted 12 quid on this. i am very mad

This is the last time I am ever using Deliveroo, for the 3rd time they apparently delivered my food to the wrong address
the truth is, the drivers either dont even exist or eat the food, always the same stupid answer from the customer service which is one of the worst I have seen
JUST EAT is what I am now doing, DELIVEROO is a scam
