I bought a home protection warranty in August, 2016. Paid $560.00 , the entire annual price of the warranty. It sounded very good and originally had good reviews. I tried to call them in October about my spa. To my surprise, the phone number was no longer in service and the website was "temporarily down". I started reading other reviews where the same thing happened to lots of other folks. I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND I'M SURE LOTS OF OTHERS DO!! WHERE DO WE FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT??I'm thinking I'll start with our state Attorney General.

DO NOT BUY ITS POLICY BECAUSE OF PLEASANT SALES EXPERIENCE. TRY TO CALL THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE FIRST, VERY SELDOM YOU WILL GET TO SPEAK WITH A REP, LEAVE A MESSAGE AND SEE IF THEY CALL YOU BACK.
My A/C went down, emailed Delta and they send a contractor here to estimate. There were no further notification from either one. I called the contractor, he said Delta need my maintenance record, I mailed Delta told them I have no. There was no response from Delta. Called customer service, the lady said, it is not covered if there is no maintenance record. I told the lady my copy of contract says if no maintenance record, the coverage is up to $150. The lady asked me to mailed Delta my copy of contract, I did so on Aug 30th, there was no response since then, It's been a month and I called more than 10 times, only 2 times got answered and the reps said they will ask their underwriters to contact me very soon, there is no still no calls from Delta. The other times I called, it takes a long time to be transferred to a recorder, I left my info, still not calls from Delta.

Dealing with this company was horrendous. My A/C went out one month after I signed a contract. Abby verified my policy was valid and the nightmare began. I left messages with the account manager, Daniel, and he never returned my calls. I called a "decision maker", Anthony and he didn't return my calls either. Temperatures were soaring in California and I had no choice but to call a wonderful company – Total Comfort – who dispatched a technician immediately and Jose fixed the A/C unit. I paid $1200 dollars and I have consulted a lawyer and will file a lawsuit against them for fraud. I am in the process of reporting them to Consumer Affairs, the Better Business Bureau and the fraud division of the FBI in Atlanta.

I purchased a home about 1 year ago & my realtor included the home warranty as part of the home purchase. I bought the combo package. The AC stopped cooling about a month after I moved in. CA in July is very hottttt and humid. I contacted Delta Home protect and made a claim. The customer service rep was great. She clearly explained the process of what was going to happen. Within a couple of hours I was contacted by the HVAC company once he got to my home, he was the nicest, most honest guy. In fact, I requested him the next time I needed AC work. Anyway, it took a couple of days and a couple of trips but he made the repair and everything was in working order. Thank you Delta for really coming through 鈽?

I filled a claim back on March 21st for my HVAC system. They told me I would be covered and I even bought the extended warranty to cover all 4 of my units. I filled my claim and they said I would here back in 48 hours. I didn't hear back for a month and I called multiple times and sent numerous emails. Finally I got a hold of someone and he said they need proof the systems were working. I sent them the home inspection we had done a couple months earlier showing they worked and then they said well we need more proof (so they didn't have to pay). I provided them a copy of our yearly maintenance we have performed on them. I didn't hear back then again for another month after several calls/emails. Finally my wife got a hold of someone and they said they would only pay us $1950 for 4 units because they had to prorate. When I bought the policy they said they don't prorate so they out right lied. We still have not received payment. I asked to speak with a manager and I quote "we don't have a manager's number". They said someone would call me back and guess what NO one has called back. We have left probably over 40 calls/emails over the course of 2+ months and no one has called back. In my opinion this company will tell you anything to have you buy the policy but as soon as you make a claim you will never hear back from them. Its basically Fraud!!!

I've been a customer of Delta Home Protect for about 6 months. Their service is unacceptable. Getting a hold of someone has always been difficult. They don't answer phone calls, nor return voice messages and emails. I have filed two claims with the in the past, it took forever for them to get back to me, and their vendor is very limited in Seattle, WA. I had to pay out of pocket for a broken dishwasher, and it has been 3 months, I'm still waiting for my reimbursement check. The manager over their said they mailed out the check 3 weeks ago. I also talked to another employee, she was looking into it and said she would give me a call back on the same day. I still have not received a call back nor email a few days later, and I can't get a hold of them now. I have filed a complaint on Better Business Bureau. I will be cancelling my policy

I live in the New York City area and Delta Home Protect is my 4th home warranty company. I have had Choice, Select and AHS the past few years and it was getting to a point of frustration that I almost decided against home warranties in general. Then, I found Delta, they offered fair pricing and I felt at ease on the initial call with the sales guy as he was not pushy, unlike the other companies I've had. So I decided to try them out. It has been about 6 months now and I could not be more satisfied with the level of service and care I have received. I mean even the sales guy that sold me the policy went out of his way to help me on an A/C claim. Who does that? I will be renewing my policy this summer and will bring my other properties on as well. I highly recommend these guys.
