I invoked in letting my flat though Dexter and I found Dexter is dishonest and cheating agent in paying rent money and very poor in management, so every one should think very carefully if you want to give your flat to Dexter to let . Dexter retained money from rent received and they do not returned this money at the end of Tenancy if Landlord does not claim it back from Dexter . Over all performance is poor service .

I had the misfortune to try and buy a flat through Dexters Fulham which fell through. Dexters neglected to inform me the flat was shared ownership and the vendors did not have the authority to sell the flat without agreement from the housing association who part owned it. They admit they knew this information from the start and even left it off the memorandum of sale they sent over. I am currently in dispute with them as their dishonest approach denied me the opportunity to make a decision with the full facts. They are very untrustworthy and I would avoid at all costs.

Not genuine not honest not reliable not professional not mature Dexters office in Acton is full of very young not well trained not professional people that do NOT even pass offers to vendors nor deal with the offers in professional ways, they rejected my offer on a house (without getting back to the owner) but they accepted another one SAME figure as mine from another buyer …why????

Very good experience with Dexters Richmond. Cadi Smith was super helpful and went out of her way to help me find a place in a really short time. She listened patiently to all my requirements and was really supportive. Can't recommend her enough!

We've been with Dexter's Canary Wharf as tenants for nearly 18 months. We couldn't speak highly enough of the property management which is handled by Rosie. Rosie has been amazing, sorting any issues immediately and always happy to liaise with landlords for us and providing prompt responses. After years with other agents who do not do this and waiting weeks or months to get issues fixed, dealing with Rosie has been amazing and relieves a lot of the stress of renting in London.

The only reason for not giving this review 5 stars is that we were unhappy with the letting process itself. We found that the second we signed the contract, the service that we received from the letting team just disappeared. It took far too long to get responses and there were numerous mix ups with getting keys and attempting to get extra money from us for this.

Overall, property management (especially Rosie) 5 stars, letting team 1 star. However, we're so happy with Rosie that we'd still give 4 stars.

It鈥檚 a shame I can鈥檛 select 0 stars…

Where do I start? I have never received such awful service in my life. To keep this short, if you are reading this, do not let them deduct money from your deposit, unfairly!

Many people will lose hundreds of pounds if they feel disputing a deduction is timely, costly and difficult. Although this is true, you cannot let Dexter鈥檚 take advantage! They wanted to take 拢600 of my deposit. After 3 months of disputing this, the TDS reduced this to 拢200. Most of this cost was to cover a professional clean which hadn鈥檛 been conducted as we were informed in writing that Dexter鈥檚 would arrange this – they did not.

The most frustrating part of the whole dispute, was the lack of understanding and professionalism from staff at Dexter鈥檚 (Twickenham, London Branch). In particular, Delphine Michaud – property manager. I was once told By Delphine that I was being 鈥渄ramatic and emotional鈥?when feeling upset about personal financial issues. Dexters should be ashamed of themselves. I sadly know of too many cases just like mine with them at different branches.

Avoid at all costs.

We've been tenants of a property managed by Dexters for the past year. There's been a few issues/break downs in the property but always greatly handed by the Property Management Team. I would like to leave a praise note to our Property Manager Tallulah Keating who is such a friendly, pleasant and enthusiastic worker. Tallulah is very approachable, professional, reliable and very efficient dealing with all types of issues. She's a pleasure to deal with. I strongly would recommend Dexters to any landlord who's considering to have their property managed by a Property Management company.

I鈥檝e spent 3 years as an Expat in London. During my stay, I鈥檝e rented two properties through the Dexters Maida Vale Agency. I found my first property in less than a week thanks to the professionalism and listening skills of the letting agent.
A year and a half later for my second property, the Director of the branch, Anthony, called me directly and pointed me to a property that wasn鈥檛 on the market yet but knew I鈥檇 like. His guess couldn鈥檛 have been more spot on!
Through and through, Dexters supported me during the whole process and made it seamless.
I can only recommend using Dexters Maida Vale!

Absolute rubbish. They added clauses to the rental contract without my knowledge. Do not use them. I wish I had checked their reviews before I used them, but it was my first time I was renting

Me and my partner rented the property from Dexters for 3 years. Everything seemed to be okay at the beggining as we paid agency fees of 拢400 at that time. First year any issue we had in a flat- was fixed within a week. After one year here came the time when anything we were concerned about took more than a month to resolve! Constatly being on the phone contacting agency.

When our contract was coming to an end and being customer for 3 years and paying all rent in time we had two months to find new property! AND THEY WERE SOOOO UNHELPFUL AT THIS POINT. they said we will be first ones to let know about new properties, we ended up seeing new ones on their website but nobody contacted us! Once we turned up for a viewing in the agency doors but they told us OOPS But its been let yesterday! They are so laid back there, probably because there is no more agnecy fees.

Lastly, we chased both landlord and agency for a deposit return for one month!

These were rectified promptly and professionally, to a quality upstanding of the property. I am very happy with how Dexters have been managing my property on my behalf whilst I am overseas. They are proactive and communicative and work hard to ensure tenant/landlord/agent relations remain harmonious throughout the period of letting.
