IN AZ. the law is that if you buy a TIME SHARE. You have 7 days to resend your contract. This is under AZ. 32-2197.03 State Law. But if you get the Sample Program this is not a time share so you can not resend your contract but if you pay with a credit card (Not Debt card) you can have the credit card on your side. You must do this as soon as you can.
Best is not to have anything to do with Diamond at all. They are a scam and you still will lose your money..

Don't even let yourself get conned into the 3 hour waste of your life pressure sales pitch.
We sat in with these rambling idiots so long we bought just to get out of the place.
Our experience as owners has shown that they blatently lie during the sales pitch, their finance option is highway robbery and their booking site is a joke.
The only way we have been able to use the time provided in our yearly maintenance fee is to find places they are affiliated with and book it ourselves then go back to diamond resorts and fight with them to use the points otherwise there is never anything available for booking inside of 6 months. We are spur of the moment travellers so it has been a complete waste of money.
Lies and miss direction of the truth is what you can expect.

never, ever buy diamond…unit was outdated and down stairs. Sales pitch was normal with first guy-but wait-second super salesman was rude-but wait theres more—third super salesman was pushy and irritated when we said no for the many times…check all reviews you can and believe them…

Don't be tempted by their sales patter. We already own a week with RCI which we had since early 90's and have got everything we have wanted but thought we would go along to see if there was something cheaper on the maintenance side of the point system (we own weeks). We were there all day and were assured that all we would pay was for the points so we decided to sign (although we are pensioners). We believed all they said but couldn't get the holidays we wanted so when we went out the year year (with RCI- because there was 'nothing available' with Diamond, we went to see the management team and were told that as it was a 'trial' there were certain places not available (which we would have known) We reluctantly signed up on the understanding there was no maintenance and assured there wasn't. O.K!! Not long after we arrived home we had a bill for 拢1,200 for 'yearly maintenance'. As you can imagine we were dumbfounded and called the company to be told that it was all in the documentation we signed. I could not find this anywhere and said we wanted to cancel but told we couldn't as we had signed a contract. After a lot of arguing they agreed to cancel the membership but we still had to pay the loan which amounted to around 拢20,000, which we later had to take a loan out for at our bank. Anyone thinking this is a great company – think again and AVOID like the plague or your wallet will be so much lighter !!

As for potential customers…BEWARE. The sales people will lie to you in the presentation. Managers turn the other way. The sales people fluff it to the point where it is just a flat out lie. Certain sales people have reputations of lying to customers but management and the VP don't care, what do they do…congratulate the person and tell them good job, get some more. Don't get conned into buying more points if you already own with Diamond. They will pitch it to you that you are getting some special deal and that you have to sign now or it goes away. They will tell you that you that what you have sucks and you need more. The special deal is there for you whenever you come back. Yes their prices do go up quarterly but other than that, they will never charge you $8/point unless you are flat out crazy for being suckered into buying it. The "special deal" is always available. Their point system sucks, you can't get what the typical rep will tell you. If they show you some printed copies of places you can stay, they took the week or month in the year that is the slowest with the smallest amount of points so be aware. Don't buy the sample program when you leave either. It is junk and the sampler sales person will most likely lie about the benefits of it. It is very common for that to happen. It is cheaper to go on groupon and pay the discounted rate to stay at one of their properties than buy the ownership. Many deals on groupon if you want to stay with them.

People get scammed in purchasing more than they want. Then when they tell the sales force that they have no more use for anymore points they treat you like dirt on their shoes. I have always been honest with these people and telling them upfront not interested and when they don't get their way well they walk away leaving you sitting there in shock of the treatment. Well maintenance fees are thru the roof. Probably because the CEO wants to have more money for his jet set lifestyle.
I wanted to split my points with my son. I purchased 7500 from Sunterra then Diamond Resorts bought them and we were conned in to purchasing 7500 to make it a better deal. I was told I could not split my points that I have one contract, even though I purchased them over 2 contracts. No other reason but because. Person on the other end of the phone was as rude as the sales idiots.
Save your money, don't buy from them. You can get a better vacation without them.
