Con artists, they say next day deliver when they have not got it in stock! Even after two weeks waiting they still have next day delivery on their website. Very quick to take your money but very difficult to get a refund! I am currently taking them to court to get a refund as they kept telling me I would get a refund but it never happened. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THESE

This is a company is operating illegally. Please do listen to the many bad reviews of people not receiving refunds, as I also have first-hand experience of this. I have now been waiting 5 weeks for a refund due to a faulty wardrobe. Their several bank transfers have 'failed' and I have spoken to them daily to discuss this, with their manager avoiding to take the call every time.
I now don't expect any money back and I will be reporting them.

This company is an absolute disgrace.
They trade as Direct Bedroom, Corban Direct or Direct Corban UK Ltd.

Probably won't deliver and then won't return your money.
Ordered a bed at the end of September and had two delivery dates arranged. No bed was delivered and on the 2nd occasion they never even bothered to call me. I am now still awaiting a refund after 7 weeks. After many emails and phone calls with promises of screen shots and assurances it had been refunded…… still no money. Many more calls followed and after being lied to by just about all the staff there I got to speak to the so called customer service manager. Again after reassuring me the refund had been processed I still have no money back. The staff blatantly lie but say different things to the last member of staff you speak to. Constantly told that the call takers have done my refund then next time you call they aren't authorised to do it. They say the calls are recorded but when you ask for a copy they then say they aren't recorded. They say their IT systems are always down and last week they couldn鈥檛 do a BACS payment but this week they can. Quite obviously they have no intention of returning money, just putting you off to buy time and as such they breach the Consumer Contract Regulations in relation to how quick they return funds.
I have put the matter in dispute with MasterCard, and I will be taking a small claims case against them including charging for my time. I have informed Trading Standards who I hope involve the Police as this could be business fraud. I suggest others do the same.
I have also emailed ITV as they advertise themselves as a supplier to the 60 minute makeover show and will also contact BBCs Watchdog.

As others have commented on, the employees do not have a clue and are the most imcompetent bunch I have had to deal with in a very long time. The items are displayed on their website as 'next day delivery' but this is a complete fallacy and when you contact them they just lie to you and blame 'the new boy in the warehouse' or the courier company.

Although the items I ordered were displayed as next day delivery, they were not delivered the next day (Friday), I had fitters waiting to assemble them (a waste of my money) and when I called the company I was told that it was due to an error by the new boy in the warehouse and another delivery date was made for three days hence (Monday). They said they do not deliver on Saturdays. They were still not delivered on Monday and another delivery date was set for Wednesday. Guess what, another two days pass and still no delivery. Yet another date was set for the next Friday and still they were not delivered. I was promised they would definitely be delivered on Monday (they could not deliver the next day as they do not deliver on Saturdays). Surprise, surprise, they were not delivered on Monday. Why not? Because they delivered them on Saturday the day they said they would NOT deliver them. Of course I was not at home and they left them with a neighbour. The company is a complete shambles. They also said I would get an email early on the morning of the delivery dates giving a time slot. It is hardly worth mentioning that with all the arranged deliveries (and the unarranged one!) I did not receive any email.

A problem with one delivery may be understandable (inconvenient, but understandable – problems sometimes happen) but to mess up 5 deliveries shows complete incompetence and to never accept responsibility and to keep blaming others is completely unprofessional and dishonest..

I ordered a wardrobe about 1 months ago, every week they kept saying its going to come next week, but it never came.

It was meant to come earlier today, so I stayed in home all day for it.. Guess what, when I called them up at 4pm then that idiot girl tells me that it will be out next monday!!!

Are you kidding me..

So I contacted the police, trading standard etc and they are going to take action against them.

So beware of them and DON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND WILL NOT SEND YOU THE GOODS.

I have ordered a bed 12 days ago, on the website is says next day delivery. I was calling them everyday, and everyday they were saying sorry we expecting some delays your bed will be delivered tomorrow. It was never delivered, everyday I was asking my neighborhoods to check it for me while I am at work.
Today I have called them again, and they said it will be delivered next week, in 6 days. Which makes in total 18 days. And yesterday the lady confirmed it will come today.

I asked to speak to the manager, the answer was the manager not available.
I asked the sales associate why do you lie, why you say next day delivery and you never deliver? Why I was calling you everyday and you were lying to me that it will be delivered? The answer was, sorry I cannot do anything.

It seems every time I was calling the new person was picking up the phone, and they were saying what ever they feel, because they knew if I will call again, there is a small chance that the same sales associate will answer the phone. And I cannot complain to anyone.

My advise, please avoid and never never buy from them.

So unprofessional service and very unpleasant experience.

My story started on a Thursday ordered a bed and mattress bundle hey great next day delivery but not when ordered after 12 not to worry should be here by Monday…. Dream on ..sorry Friday… Hey bed ..no mattress .huh bundle deal …4 phone calls promised to ring me back…..hey look tumbleweed…. Give up on customer service… Ring on Monday mattress coming Tuesday…. Nope no mattress.email Tuesday mattress on Friday…hey look flying pig …store boxes of my useless bed down in garage ..maybe when mattress arrives I sell it on as an antique . advice … Don't bother direct bedrooms as they are way to busy trying to muck up everyone's orders to actually give you any kind of service

I ordered bed on a Tues night so it was to come on the Thurs (no bed) phoned and told wasn't in stock and would come on the (mon ) phoned on monday morning to ask if it was defo coming told yes it was (no bed )phoned on the Tues and told it hadn't even been sent (lied to)told them to cancel and refund me told refund would b 3-5 days (no refund)phoned told it would be in by Friday (no refund) phoned and told it hadn't been processed (lied to again )they have to Friday coming or I'm taking legal action very rude on the phone also

If i had staff like this i would have sacked them by now!!!!!
Ordered from this site as it has a next day delivery, thats a lie, when you chase them they dont want to know and put you on to their courier, who doesnt answer, decided to contact credit card company to dispute and reordered from another company. STAY AWAY FROM THESE!!!!! HENCE ONE STAR, if i could i wouldnt have given them that

Wanted a bed quickly so phoned and checked it was in stock for next day delivery. Was told it was so ordered it. Did not arrive. Phoned and was told it would be delivered by 10.30 next morning. Still no bed. They can't explain why as 'it is in stock'. They don't return phone calls and am now told it will be delivered next Tuesday, one week late. Only went with them because of their next day delivery promise. I wouldn't use them again and suggest others don't trust their delivery promise.

I checked TrustPilot as I always do prior to a web purchase and noticed the reviews were ok but not brilliant on Directbedroom.co.uk … anyway as the price that I bought my daughters bed on this site was 拢100 cheaper than anywhere else I could find with my surfing skills, I decided to go for it anyway.
My experience was perfect, the courier came when he said he would, the bed was perfect, flat packed but everything was included. The boxes were a little bashed about but were packed well enough with reinforced corners to protect the goods. From my experience, 100% recommended.

Having read reviews I was very worried about ordering and delivery. Luckily ignored these as were a great price. Placed order and got dispatch confirmation v quickly delivered next day got email advising of 3 hour window and it arrived on time. Perfect highly recommend and would use again.

Ordered Bank Hol Mon, expected delivery the Wednesday, got email on the Thurs to say delivery would be following day, no major gripe only that it wasnt next day as claimed, product delivered in good condition as described

This company have caused me nothing but pain. Three wasted days off work, incomplete order, deleivery to the wrong address, twice! Broken promises via email twice. Deliveries made on wrong dates with no warning. To go into the detail would take me all day. I am still waiting for a missing box and have half a put together bed in my flat. In short very apologetic, but, totally incompetent and unprofessional. I will never use this company again. The refuse to supply the CEO contact details so I can complain direct.

The bed is amazing very easy to assemble and very comfortable. The only downside was it wasn't delivered on the day I had arranged and I had waited in for it and it was then inconvenient when it was delivered.
