DJI Spark batteries lasted less than 2 years despite following all the care and maintenance guidelines.

The average price of a battery is 拢50.

In the long run, you'll spend more on batteries than the drone. Not to mention all the accessories I bought for the best care and use.

I ordered the Mavic Mini (May 2020) and had it in my hands within 48 hours. I was really impressed and DJI gained my trust.

Then I ordered the Mini 2 Drone (January 2021) and that is where DJI lost my trust. It said 3 to 7 days for delivery, but 7 days later it still hasn't even left China as it passes through numerous "customs clearances" in multiple Chinese cities. So clearly I won't be getting it as per the timeframe they had originally stated before taking my money. It's as if they are playing ball with my package, just passing it around needlessly from city to city.

I will never buy from the DJI Store again and I will not recommend it to friends, family or even to my worst enemy. DJI makes great products, but their delivery standards and customer service are extremely lacking.

Oh dear DJI store. Glossy website but logistics and communications are abysmal.

Ordered on 27th Nov with expectations to receive within 2-5 working days. In my experience this means 2-3 days unless something goes wrong.

No communication until 6th December where a package was processed in Dongguan China then departed this location. No update since then regarding when and where it is en route to, if at all.

Spoke to DJI Store on chat yesterday where apparently some paperwork needed to be completed in China which delayed the delivery, and it 鈥榮hould鈥?arrive this week or next. Fantastic… Working day 11 tomorrow and the 2 week anniversary since placing the order. Appalling customer service levels.

I wouldn鈥檛 mind if DJI store set expectations up front, but I quite reasonably thought buying direct would mean a slicker, more assured process. My bad for not doing the research on this occasion.

I don鈥檛 believe DJI store have any care for the customer; purely the sale.

Update 11th Dec: email received early hours of the morning to say the package had landed in East Midlands airport. Shortly after it was transferred up to Newcastle distribution, put out for delivery, and has just arrived into my hands all the on the same day. Product looks great and sure it will be, but it doesn鈥檛 change the experience upto this point. 10 working day delivery with next to no communication. Poor.

I should have done my homework before purchasing direct. I thought I was buying from a UK based store. Purchased on the 5th Nov. Shipped on the 6th. Left China on the 9th. Today being the 16th there has been no change in status. Could it have flown away? I鈥檓 not the happiest with DHL whom I contacted, I received a response that it鈥檚 on a pallet with many other bulk items so will take time to unpack and deliver. It鈥檚 frustrating to see it in stores everywhere in the UK and I could have got my hands on one over a week ago. 3-7 working days delivery following payment was definitely breached but is understandable given the viral issues. I will give them a few more days grace.
Update: Finally arrived on the 17th November and am now very happy!!! Excellently presented packaging. Shame about the delivery holdup.

Terrible customer service and support by Dji, seriously think twice before buying any of their product. Dji are very quick to take your money and then leave you hanging and confused with poor and inconsistent information, a website that doesn't update and people who don't care and give you corporate answers. I purchased directly from Dji and was assured I would receive the Drone 3-7 days after payment was taken. They have taken the money yet the drone is still sat in China not moving!! It could have flown here itself by now. Lies and differing stories from everyone at Dji. I can't comment on their product quality as I don't have the drone but the service is appalling. I have plenty of drones from competitors e.g. Hubsan, and so called 'toys' but Dji are light years behind them with regard to service. I'll now continue to watch friends fly their new Mini 2's whilst I watch the blank order screen on the Dji website and static movement on the DHL tracker!! Everyone, keep your money or spend it elsewhere!! I will now spend my time telling as many people as I can about my poor experience so it impacts Dji a little

DO not buy anything from DJI unless you are ok with them stealing your money and personal information. I bought a brand new drone and smart controller that do not work. DJI will not refund my money, blames their refund policy that doesn't exist on Covid. They are a scam and will violate your privacy and spy on your flight logs even if you opt out. Communism on display with DJI since they're in China.

I'm going to try and stay calm while making this review. I've purchased an OSMO POCKET 2 directly from this company while it was on "Pre-order", this was promised to be delivered as early as 1st Nov… this is now the 9th and nothing is here. The product is since widely available in the UK at all major outlet including amazon for same day delivery. I have contacted customer support several times which they seem to be clueless, they provided me with a DHL tracking number that seems to be stuck on the same status since the 2nd Nov… Customer service are clueless to what's going on and everything is slow to a depressing level. I wouldn't use ever this company directly from now on. Terrible at all levels.

I don't know what to say, but I am really disappointed. This is my second time I've ordered from DJI Online store. The first time I received my parcel in 2 days!! They gained my trust, so this time I've ordered again. It's been 2 weeks and still no delivery. I received a shipping confirmation from DHL and that's been 5 days ago. Tracking information states that the parcel still in China. I contacted chat support for the third time and all they are saying, that: "please be advised that the shipping usually takes 9-16 working days". But when I tried (just to check) to "order" another one like this, it sates it take 5-7 working days!! Everywhere across the country third party retailers already got this in stock, but my parcel is still wondering around somewhere. I red so many negative reviews and now I am scared for my money. I was thinking to buy an after care plan for my item, but after reading what people went through to send it back, I'm worried even more. Some says, to send the faulty item and receive it back repaired will take months!! if I bought it from a third party retailers with the care plan, it would take a few minutes to just take it to the store and exchange it or get a refund!! This is the last time I ever going to order anything directly from DJI. I will never go through this stress again. If you want something fast, don't ever place an order from this website!! Also, I was thinking to just buy another one like this from my local store and send online order back when it arrives, they told me that I have to pay all the relevant shipping costs myself to China!!! That's insane! As I seen another review, where the customer did send something back within 14 days of receiving it and never received any refund for months, I am stuck now and questioning whether I should do it! And shipping costs to China won't be cheap, so I feel like I've lost the money already 🙁

We placed an order 8/23/20 for an Osmo pocket. We had to evacuate due to Hurricane Laura and were unable to receive mail, so we had the shipment returned, WHICH YOUR COMPANY has received the package back on 9/10/20. Our refund was approved on 9/14/20. We were told it would take 7-14 business days for our refund to be given back and WE STILL HAVENT RECEIVED our money back yet! Here we are again, a second time evacuating from ANOTHER HURRICANE, and still trying to get our refund from your company! This is UNACCEPTABLE!!! We need our refund ASAP and we need someone to contact us back before we take it a step further. We can鈥檛 actually SPEAK to someone on the phone for whatever reason. This is BAD BUSINESS, and if someone doesn鈥檛 get back to us ASAP we will be filing a complaint. I expect a message within the hour to rectify this issue. I bought a handlebar mount for a DJI OSMO Action from the DJI store which inexplicably broke after a few uses. I contacted DJI within 14 days of purchase but they keep telling me that this is an issue for the manufacturers despite the fact that DJI are legally obliged to deal with the problem and refund me the money. No one there will take responsibility for my complaint. The standard of service provided by DJI so far is appalling and I will never buy anything from them again nor would I recommend them to anyone.

If I could give this company a -10 rating I would! I bought a drone online from them and it was handled by DPD in the UK. DPD then promptly lost the package or more likely it has been stolen. I contacted DJI and asked them to ask for an investigation with DPD. They continually tell me the case has been escalated (presumably downwards) as DPD ahve heard nothing from them. ONLY DJI can ask for it to be investigated and for some reason unknown to anyone they are refusing to do this. Hence the only way I can try and get my 拢1900 back from them is via my credit card company. I wouldn't trust DJI to do anything right for it's customers – so do yourself a favour and buy another make and steer well clear of DJI.

DJI drones are excellent.. but if you crash it as I did, you're pretty much on your own. I made a short YouTube film describing in detail what happened – and it validifies my review. See it here:

I flew my drone into overhanging foliage and it dropped and snapped a landing leg (which is normally screwed on). After testing, nothing else was damaged so I figured I could go onto the DJI website and buy a replacement leg. No chance.

DJI don't sell parts. They wanted me to book a repair and send the whole drone off to them – not cheap.. not quick. I contacted a 3rd party drone store close to home to see if they could repair my drone but they said DJI have stopped supplying parts to 3rd party repairers – because they want all DJI drone owners to send back to them for repairs. I worked out I would outlay 拢100+ for postage, DJIs fixed fee, parts and labour costs plus have the risk of it being further damaged/lost in the post and being without it for weeks.
So, I found a new landing leg on Ebay, paid 拢12, got it within a week and replaced the leg within five minutes myself.
If DJI insist on monopolysing the DJI repairs market for themselves, it should be fit for purpose. Items such as I had to replace should be freely available to buy from DJI and the repair process (for the UK), should be franchised to a UK repairer, avoiding the need to send every drone halfway around the world.

Love the drones, hate the service.

DJI have lied in their response to me, saying that my item was shipped as expected. This is false, my item was heavily delayed in being shipped, it took 10 days for the item to arrive, when I was told at payment it would take 3-7. The item arrived with parts missing and those missing parts have still not been sent by DJI.

Awful customer service and absolutely no help when you reach out to them through the chat function. You cannot trust DJI what鈥檚 so ever. Maybe their products are good but don鈥檛 expect your products to be delivered on time, at all…

A couple of reasons not to buy from DJI:

1. On their American website (dji.com) they say they have 24/7 support – that鈥檚 not true it close after 6PM or so PST

2. On the website they say delivery will be 1-3 business days with Fedex or UPS. When you have purchased the product and receive your tracking number, it is a different story. I ordered my prone on June 23th. it is now June 28th and nothing have been communicated from DJI'side even though they promised to keep me in the loop. In the beginning it said "Expected to be delivered on Friday 26th by end of the day", which was aligned with what they tell customers doing the purchases process. Be careful buying products here if you need them with a short notice, you cannot trust their information on the pages. They do anything they can do to make you purchase a product and then they do not deliver..

3. Now on day 5 since I purchased, the shipping have now changed to July 1, but there is no tracking history whats so ever.. I do not expect it to arrive the 1 of July, which is 7 days since i ordered.

4. They charge money instantly on your card, and don't care when or what they deliver.

5. After being promised a delivery date the drone is still in China and there is no delivery dayt

6. They do not give you your money back

7. When they say 鈥渕y manager is not available, can we call you back鈥?that is not happening either

8. They are offering me $10 in DJI credit which is a joke and offending!! Instead of offering something take some actions and make your customers satisfied and give them what they pay for.

Horrible customer service, very unstructured company, greedy, no communication from the company, a lot of false information and promises that they cannot deliver on.

Drone customers 2020 stay away from DJI.. do not buy drones from dji.com

Worst customer service from DJI. The product was not shipped for 10 days after ordering. All the "status update" emails were scripted and the person had no clue or interest of answering customer real concern. I asked them to add protective cover for my drone and charge my cc but they flat out asked me to create a new order and pay for extra shipping. Even though the existing order is still sitting with them. I wish I checked the reviews before hand. Its better to buy the drone from costco or amazon.

Absolutely abhorrent company. Payed 拢1000 for a drone and was REFUSED…YES REFUSED cover because I hadn鈥檛 purchased cover within 48 hours of activated machine. Tried to return drone and was REFUSED REFUND because drone was outwith 14 day return period. Seriously avoid these CONMEN! There is no aftersales customer service. It鈥檚 non existent! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

My order from 19th May ask 26 may answer to DJI live support what is going on because in the store says Orders 0. When after some time the chat support answers me, the only answer I got was You must wait we mail you. Why webshop orders after a confirmed payment say 0 orders he cannot tell me, same what will estimate delivery time, I not follow how they can sell like this, and run live support that can give no answer at all.

Extremely dishonest and misleading, very upset. I purchased my Mavic Air as an Australian price match from DJI direct which included the extra warranty care refresh plan. When drone repairs were required, I contacted DJI support and after 2 months of emails I was told that I don't have a care refresh plan. After another month or so I was offered a care refresh plan update at a 50% discount which I took up and paid for. When I lodged my batteries repair request a month later I was told that the warranty no-longer is valid because 12 months have passed. Mind you, they took 4 months to respond to me. Will never buy another DJI product again and I suggest that you seriously consider not to also.

I ordered from DJI.com. I got an empty box stuffed with cardboard. I contacted them and are clueless. I never had an issue with any store based in US/Canada. I have to figure out how to deal with this situation.

DJI make excellent drones and products and are a great company, I love their products, their shipping times and customer service are poor.
I needed to order a second battery and gamepad for my recently acquired Robomaster (拢500) which had arrived on 1st November and had shipped from China on the 29th Oct 2019. (Ordered 23/10/2019)
The problem has occured over this order for the spare battery and GamePad (plus a pre-order – see later in my review) which I was unable to purchase from any UK retailer. The order was placed on the 3rd November and paid via Paypal for 拢170, the money was actually paid to DJI the same day and the funds left my account in the early hours of the 3rd/4th November. I have proof of payment from Paypal in multiple images and screen shots, and they also confirmed payment was made to them on the 3rd November.
Their web site claims delivery 8-12 working days after payment confirmation for delivery, to me this means that the order should be actually with me on the 13th (earliest), however when speaking to their online support, I was advised payment had not yet been "Received" on my online order, and the expected shipping date was the 14th November and to allow 3-5 days for Delivery (so 16th to 18th November) – Their site clearly says Estimated Delivery Time (not Estimated Shipping Time)
DJI will not take payment from your bank account when paid by card until the goods are shipped however Paypal take the money immediately and pay DJI Immediately- there seems to be a severe delay between it showing online as paid on your website account additionally DJI claim they have no expedited shipping option – which in this day and age clearly needs to be addressed since most orders with free shipping are over a high threshold.
I also have an a pre-order for the Mavic Mini Fly More, this is for an order at 拢495, again no expedited shipping and this is stated as having an estimated delivery of 20-25 working days from payment confirmation. The authorisation has already been processed (but money not taken) and when contacting them on this one as well, I was told the expected shipping date was around 1st to 3rd December 2019, and to allow again 3-5 days for the courier. This again means 30 days to 35 days for the actual order to be processed from start (payment) to finish which inc weekends (or when I actually receive the goods), whilst I understand that weekends are not included, it is still 'extra' days I now have to wait, when I feel it should be mid-Nov to late Nov before the goods are delivered,
Having placed my order for the battery and the gamepad with DJI, I was checking the internet about 6pm in the evening of the 4th November and I found a company outside the UK who had both items in stock, I opted to not order the gamepad from them (despite the shop offering to ship both), but did order one more battery from them, service from the other retailer to the UK was excellent and their shop shipped it on the 5th (I paid about 拢15 for UPS – which is understandable), and it was delivered to me by 9am on the 6th. I may now order from them in future since their payment and delivery process is far better.
I have had several chats over the order for the battery/gamepad with DJI online staff, most promised to chase this or email me with an update or expedite my complaint, however 48 hours later and i have not heard anything, I am still waiting a reply to a support email raised on the evening of the 6th November, I was told today in a chat (7th November) that a supervisor will call me in the next 24/48 hours.
UPDATE 09/11/2019: a support ticket was raised and I am now chatting via this ticket, via TrustPilot and also via two other communication lines. Whether this speeds up my order delivery date I will see.
Whilst I understand they need time for authorisation for the payment, on both instances above, funds are already in a seperate account and authorisation made, in respect to the order for 拢170, funds had already left my account on the 3rd November and I am still waiting for my order status to change to shipped which it should have done at least 4th/5th November.

Update: 8th November 2019 – 6pm
Call was received by Supervisor, however he rang my mobile (not landline which was number passed to him) and when I answered the call ended, so I had to call China to chase it, finally they located the supervisor who then called me back.
Problem was explained and he has said he has 'upgraded both orders to 'Priority' – Not sure if this will make a difference, time will tell

Update: 12/11/2019
Goods for the Battery/Gamepad was shipped 11th November and has been delivered on the 12th November.
I have cancelled my pre-order for the Mavic Mini Fly More Combo which was due to be shipped 1st/2nd December, as I have found a retailer in Europe who has this in stock and it will be delivered on the 13th November.

Update: 13/11/2019
A great personal email from DJI over all issues raised above, order for the gamepad/battery was safely received on the 12th, due to escalation of the the gamepad/battery and all the effort DJI Store have taken to write to me and correspond, plus escalated the above order to arrive 5 days before the shipping/delivery date I have increased my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. The Mavic Mini alas was ordered and delivered from elsewhere but this was because I wanted the goods before the 20-25 days.
