Hi all, I know it must be very diffcult for everybody who has been scammed by driveschooluk. most of us will have used money that we couldnt afford but did it anyway in the hopes of bettering ourselves. I am here to tell you, you can get your money back. I was in your situation and out of pocket 拢1800. I contacted my credit card company under the section 75 of consumer act and got a full refund. they ask me to provide proof which I did, so make sure you keep all of your emails and documents.

Thats one way if you paid credit card, however, if you paid using a debit card then you can contact your bank to do a chargeback.
Both of these ways will be where your bank/ credit card provider contacts their bank and requests a refund.This is your protection.

I cant post a link here explaining due to trustpilot T&C but if you search Section 75 Consumer Act refund it will bring lots of link up for you. read the one for which and that will cover both for credit card and debit card.

I hope this helps. if any of you have any queries then post your queries on here and I will do my best to answer them. Good luck everyone and I'm sure if you follow my advice you should get your money back. You are protected under visa and mastercard for such scenarios so not all hope is lost.

I'm another victim! No one is answering the office numbers, I keep leaving voicemails and receive no reply, after passing part 1 I have heard nothing from them. Anyone have any advice for me please let me know.

*UPDATE*

I bank with Nationwide, and have told them about my situation. They have opened a case with their Visa disputes team and once I send in my evidence they will be claiming my money back for me within 3-10 days.

I could REALLY do with my money back. Like you guys I have invested so much time and money into this! The guys I am in contact with cant even tell me what has happened, they don't even know if the company has gone into liquidation or not!!!

I paid 拢1800 to them they offered me full training plus (40h/week contract ) job
Done my part one part 2 training finish send all paperwork to them today I call them they said training is a different company and they don鈥檛 get paid any more to train us (I didn鈥檛 know it鈥檚 a separate company anyway)
Now I am kind off stuck I don鈥檛 know who can help us
What about citizen burp do they do any help?
Maybe we can make a formal complaint sign all of us and send to MP or something?

We have all been scammed! Their letterheaded paper and offer of a full franchise appeared genuine to us all, but in hindsight a simple google search of DriveSchool would not have shown them up on the first 10 search pages, so how could they guarantee us students in all of the areas we live in! If you paid by Credit Card then go to fraud team of your card provider and report it and put in a claim for refund. If cash, Directors are likely to have absconded with monies and liquidated DriveSchool so they can open another scam company! If so only see this as a setback and your'e still serious about qualifying then suggest you contact the big genuine reputable Drive Schools in your area such as RED. I have and RED are taking me on! Thanks RED!

In the same boat as many, just completed modules for theory then found out no longer getting support as Driveschool not paying 3rd party training provider (didn't realise it was a separate company).
I paid via credit card so hopefully can get something back but these guys will have been set up as a limited company so you will have no comeback against them, they can just say the company went bust and that is pretty much it.
Shocking if they have been able to start another company doing the same thing though.

If I could give 0 I would, absolutely shocking all the promises then once we paid we heard nothing, then rang and demanded another 450 to be able to carry on shocking company.

I am currently doing my online part 3 theory coursework. This company is awful, for the amount of money I paid the support is beyond a joke. They take forever to get back to you and even when they do reply there isn't really any support. I'm not surprised the company has now ceased trading. I emailed them for support to see if I could do the practical training mixed with the theory coursework as I struggle with theory side of things (I'm more of a practical learner) they just replied no. I don't really know what to do now I feel like I need a refund as they owe me 40 hours of practical training. This company should be held accountable for what they've done to people it's a joke!!!! If anyone could offer advice please let me know!

Like everyone else on here I too have been a victim of this scam. Passed my part 1 a couple of weeks ago and started my part 2 coursework only to be told all support will be stopped. For those who read this I personally have contacted my bank (they have provisions in place for fraud) have reported them through action fraud website, and have also informed watchdog as I believe someone else said they needed more claims to take it seriously.

I signed up to driveschool in may last year paid the fees , mine is similar story to everyone else although ive passed part 1 and 2 and did recieve my part3 training which i did over a 2 week period , i sat my part 3 exam on tues and was unsuccessful, i emailed driveschool with my test report expecting my next steps but instead recieved an email telling me that driveschool has disappeard and i could still acess the online course but as far as a job or any further training i was on my own, i feel so stupid for believing them theyve had so many peoples money and not delivered what was promiced and now probaly traiding under a different name, i dont know where to start on reporting them so anyone any advice please contact me on here or fbook lindsay foster

I also have fallen victim to the carefully orchestrated scam that is DriveSchool UK. I undertook the training and passed my ADI Part 2 a few weeks ago. My ADI Part 3 coursework was submitted to the training provider for review, only for me to receive the same email regarding delayed payments and issues with the company.

I think that the best course of action for all of us affected is to report the company to the relevant ombudsman or to Companies House? I鈥檓 banking on strength in numbers to stop these fraudsters from targeting anyone else.

Just like everyone else, I have sacrificed a lot of time and effort to complete this course, hanging my hopes on the guarantee of a job at the end of the training. I feel that my dream of becoming a driving instructor has now been crushed. I am upset and feel foolish for falling for this scam.

I for one want to recover the money which I am rightfully owed, as I signed up to this course based on a series of lies and false pretences. If anyone wants to get in touch, to try to figure out a solution to this mess for all of us, please feel free to message me on here.

Same as everyone else paid 拢1800 upfront for nothing. Given online coursework which they don鈥檛 even check and once you eventually get to part 3 I was told that more in car training hours were required in order to pass part 3 which is another 拢700-拢1000 which they don鈥檛 tell you on the phone when you sign up…. all in all you spend roughly 拢3000 to become a driving instructor just to earn a ridiculous wage at the end of it (15-20k a year) that鈥檚 if you work 7 days a week with a full schedule. Don鈥檛 be fooled with 鈥渨orking your own hours鈥?because in reality to earn enough to survive you need to be working as I said 7 days a week, 12 hour days. My advice is to do your research first in regards to money and time etc before you hand over your money!!!

I've just rung number from below. Definitely same guy at that company. He admitted to me. I can complete stage 2 but training has not been paid for part 3 but they said a rescue plan is in place for money back and completion of course. Don't think it's a scam as they've said they have put a lot of driveschool trainers through full course, think they have just gone bust. I have suffered the exact same experiences as the others,I payed 拢1900 up front and have had nothing but the coursework sent to me,no feedback no help whatsoever,I feel left high and dry nearly 2 grand out of pocket and been fed lies,could someone tell me how I can get my money back and stop these scammers from doing this again.

Hi all,

Wow wish I had seen all this before parting with money to these con artists. I鈥檓 gutted as this was my redundancy money and now I have nothing. I the same as all you have forked out 拢1900 for the course and just passed part one last week. It seems a common feature, pass part one and your done.
I the same as you all am now out of pocket and unsure in what direction to go. If there is somewhere to complain to please let me know and I will do what I can to help us all get our own back on this scumbag company.
