Had a pleasant and easy experience of click and collect. They are at the door, very pleasant staff, hassle free. Collected a few items, one item was slightly damaged and it was no bother for them to pop and replace it from stock there and then. Very pleasant and helpful and pleased with my items.

Collected from click/collect Shrewsbury…all adhering to social distancing…
Quick efficient service….it鈥檚 a 10/10 from me

Diabolical…. ordered 2x sofas 11 weeks ago and 2 days before schedule delivery send an email stating my order has been cancelled as no longer available, thanks Dunhelm you wasters…..

Update.. email to CEO, received an apology and small discount on replacement sofas.

First visit to Dunhelm since we went into lock down in March normally visited cafe at least twice a week before hand. I must say was very impressed with the standard of attention to the rules of social distancing and cleaning it was above and beyond expectations we visited the one in Blackburn, congratulations to all especially the cafe staff

I ordered a rug which should have been delivered on 3rd July. I have tried contacting them by phone but all lines are down. I have emailed them but have not had a response.
Definitely won鈥檛 be ordering from them again.

Yesterday decided to visit the cafeteria in Dunhelms Aberdeen. Very, very, bad mistake! Stood behind two others in the queue which seemed to take forever for whatever reason. However, eventually it was my turn and I ordered and paid for 2 flat white coffees and for the next ten minutes or so with no one in front or behind me, I waited for my coffees. A couple appeared behind me and the girl who had taken my order, took their order and disappeared. Then 4 to 5 minutes later, a young man appeared asked if it was 2 flat whites and very quickly made the coffees and placed them on my tray.
Sat down and took a sip and the coffee which had been made a couple of minutes before, was tepid. Decided not to put my wife off hers by telling her that my coffee was barely warm but she announced that her coffee was cold too. Took both coffees back to the counter and told the girl that I had waited 15 minutes for them and they were cold and her reply was 鈥淚鈥檒l give you a refill then鈥?I refused and walked away. In retrospect, I still have no idea why I stood there for 15 minutes waiting for 2 flat white barely warm coffees. Appalling service.

I ordered two rugs from Dunhelm online having never used the company before. However, yesterday I went to the Doncaster branch. Two things struck me.

Firstly the employees there were miserable and unhelpful.

Secondly, I was astonished at the incredibly low quality of the goods on sale. It really was an emporium of tat. For example the furniture on sale was knocked up from inferior materials. It was just nasty and shoddy. I cannot believe anyone shops at Dunhelm. It was an unpleasant place.

I an now awaiting delivery of the rugs I ordered with real concern.

We bought a dormeo octasmart mattress topper 拢250 from Dunhelm
It was vacuum packed so had to be opened to check . It isn鈥檛 medium as described, but very soft, it can鈥檛 be folded , as described, to store. It鈥檚 poor quality and not as expected. Dunhelm will not take it back. It鈥檚 very difficult to get through to customer service and once through they quote terms and conditions (which are not obvious on the website) and refuse to help.

I bought a Conway 3 seat sofa on line after seeing two of them in store. Everything was fine until an hour after delivery when the sofa started to smell of dried out rotten compost. I immediately phoned the Customer helpline as the smell just got worse, we all got headaches the smell became so overpowering. Customer services agreed to replace it as soon as possible after waiting 15 minutes for them to answer the phone. That is something you should expect & get used to, you will waste a lot of time waiting for Dunhelm to answer the phone. I must say the staff at all points of contact have been extremely obliging, courteous & polite, they do however have varying levels of knowledge. I was told they could not collect the old sofa until I had the delivery date for the replacement, then I was told they could collect the old one within 72 hours. I waited & waited for the delivery confirmation of the replacement, only getting it after the guys collected the smelly sofa. Strangely within 5 minutes of it going I got the email. Draw your own conclusions from this comment, if you want to see the bad reviews, look on trust pilot, if you want to believe all the whooped up good reviews look on Dunhelms own pages. I have been unable to leave a review on Dunhelms own pages even though I have asked them how I do it they have yet to reply to my request 5 days after sending it. This sofa smelt so bad we had to shut the room up & use the spare room as a lounge yet I cannot find one review that mentions a smell. It is a smell that cannot be ignored so am I the only person who can smell it? NO because I have had all the neighbours round to have a sniff, I even considered calling the police because someone said it could have drugs inside. I am still waiting for the replacement sofa but if it smells the same it will go straight back for a full refund. Oh & I have recordings of all the calls made to Dunhelm Customer services, I advise you all to do the same. Put the phone on speaker then record the call on another phones voice recorder, easy.

Bought a Cuba Front Opening Divan Set – Ottoman, Colour: Chenille Charcoal,Bed Size: Kingsize 5ft
This was delivered faulty and was replaced after long wait in Mid February 2019.

on 27th September reported issue with the bed not closing properly.
2nd October 2 guys from servico visited the property where they did not had any idea why they are visiting me. They thought they are coming to assemble a bed for me.

when explained that they are not here to assemble a bed but just to have a look at the bed which was delivered in febraury and is not closing properly now.
they had a look at the bed and advised the top of the bed is cracked and this may be because it was screwed too hard or may be due to quality of bed.
They advised that they will order new top for the bed and it will be delivered to me. Once delivered they will come back and replace it.

Since their visit I never heard anything from any one and made several phone calls and email to dunhelm customer service and all of them promise call back with a solution and reason why I haven't heard anything for this long as they were still waiting on some report from servico.

On calling Dunhelm again on 31st October as no one has called back as expected, I was informed now that its wear and tear and not covered under warranty.

Poor customer service, Poor communication and poor attitude was not enough that they now have to lie to customers to get away from a issue which is clearly a product fault.

I have only had this bed for less then a year and its ottoman lid is snapped where its connected to hydrolics. this was delivered built and was never touched by us. we just open and close the bed as normal customer will do.

now its broken from the place where hydrolics where screwed into the bed. repair team from servico said its due to poor quality and also may be due to screws are tightened too hard for it to snap.

not acceptable and if I had to take this to furniture ombudsman I will take this.

It has made me feel cheated, frustrated and helpless. I firmly believe its a poor quality faulty product which has failed and now they are blaming customer for this.

I WANT TO WARN ALL CUSTOMERS NOT TO USE DUNHELM

Ordered a "cuddle robe" on line to collect at Lowestoft store. The transaction went through then fifteen minutes later e-mail says can not do will refund in 5 to 7 days. ! Tried to phone the store all we get is recorded message saying "due to unforeseen circumstances no one can take your call, please call later" kept trying loads of times always same message. Didn't give up because I wanted the item for my grand daughter. So tried a nearby store in Bury St Edmunds, what do you know ? exactly same message. What a cra..y company.

We ordered curtains. They were OK quality. The customer service was very poor. We had to call up everyday waiting for 15-20 minutes before someone picked up the phone. They had to reorder the curtains and promised to cancel the 1st order and the 2nd order will be next day delivery. Of course the first order didn't get cancelled and we had the hassle of sending the item back. We will not be recommending the company to anybody.

I ordered a three piece suite from dunhelm of Erdington Birmingham five weeks ago we had a phone call on the Friday to say your suite is ready for delivery and it will be delivered on Tuesday so i disposed of my old suite and on the Monday I phoned dunhelm up and asked if it would be delivered on the morning or afternoon only to be told it's not coming when I told them I am sitting on a garden chair and I am disabled and don't walk very well and I am in bad pain and they have told me it's not coming for another two weeks and theres nothing they can do it's made me very bad I don't know what to do now, dunhelm customer service is very bad and they don't care once they have had your money, I will never buy from them again and would advice other people not to, if they can treat a disabled person this way then it's a really bad company I will also phone the Birmingham mail up to let others know what they are like the customer service needs a lot of training I have been offered a call back twice and they can't even do that BUYERS BEWARE

have to say can never say a bad word about this company staff in liverpool speke branch are wonderful, the lady at till who served me was chatty friendly and efficient, i have been many times and they always are good. then went to restaurant and the food was superb, the apple pie is wow and the bucket of coffee i got was very well recieved and value yes value for money, you can avoid costa (overpriced and small portions) and pop in here very good service from the guy doing the coffees wont even attempt to spell barriester!! nice staff, decent priced products lots of sale items and cafe which is brill. Thanx

Not even worth one star. 拢658 for two wardrobes and every part of them were scratched and or dented on the corners. What turned up was rubbish, the doors didn't even match the picture provided as the example picture. The mirrors were stuck on lop sided and i messaged them straight away to come and collect it again.

Always a nice friendly experience in Dunhelm Grimsby staff alway there to help. I was served tonight by a very pleasant lady by the name of Deborah and not for the first time she's always bubbly nice to see as so many shops don't care about customer service but have to say this shop does.

Wrote on here about the Marino sofa I bought about 18 months ago. Problem with some leather splitting. Very quick to get in touch, sent an engineer out to have a look, found a fault in piece of leather, within a short time had a complete refund. Customer service was brilliant, kept in touch all the while, letting me know what was happening. Old settee collected, refund same day. All rou nd great service, everyone who I saw really pleasant.

I ordered a mattress topper on 23rd April. It arrived a couple of days later. When my son opened the package he found a king size had been sent instead of a small double.
I phoned Dunhelm customer services the next day and arranged for the king size to be collected and a small double to be reordered.
When this didn鈥檛 arrive after a few days I again phoned customer services and was told that the item had not been sent because the website entry had been marked 鈥楧ispatched鈥?, and therefore the warehouse did not send it to me because they thought it had already been sent.
The customer service operator checked with the warehouse and was informed that they had a small double in stock and that would be sent to me as soon as possible.
Nothing arrived within the next few days, so i telephoned customer services again this morning and was told that the matter was under investigation and this could take 48 hours.
I have now cancelled the order and requested a refund.
I order online all the time and I have never experienced such bad service as this.

Dunhelm come across as a very badly run company. Many of the furniture products on their website are listed without proper details such as dimensions and what they are made of. The company doesn't offer a telephone contact line, making the whole process too long and laborious. I gave up. Skip Dunhelm and look for a better run company.

Total rubbish,ordered items online and then countless phone calls back to me,which has worn me out store telling me (OUT OF STOCK),they should be called DUNNO?.Wasted time travelling to store miles away on another attempt to pickup to been told NOT IN STOCK typical of the world today??.

What a wonderful store the Milton Keynes Branch of Dunhelm is. Friendly staff – huge selection of quality items competitively priced. AND if you haven't had coffee and toasted tea bread in their cafe – try it tomorrow. Brilliant cafe and truly cheerful, friendly staff. Have not left the store without buying something. Thoroughly recommend a visit and purchase! Keep up the good work Dunhelm.

I ordered 3 pairs of curtains, 1 pair arrived on the given date but the other 2 would be delayed by 10 days, bit of a pain but fair enough. I received an e-mail and text to say the other 2 pairs were despatched and would be delivered today. I had a text this morning to say there was a further delay and delivery will now be in September! How can the information be so wrong!? I won't be using them again, disgraceful service.
