They are quick to withdraw your money but they take ages before they ship your products. I have been waiting two weeks and still no sign. I wrote to them asking about my products. The answer I got was that she was not able to answer my question but will forward to her colleague and I should await an answer in a few working days. The country pages gives you a feeling that they are local. But they are not. No mention of delivery period. Will never buy from them again.

Bought some nilfisk attix 33 dust bags.
They were under half price for A set of 5 bags. Shipped from overseas so next time will order ahead of time.

I didn't get my first order so they resent me a second time the pack on 3rd of June. I still didn't get anything and absolutely no follow up from the company. I asked them to refund me my money. Now I am told that I need to wait 5 weeks! Imagine that my first order was placed 2 months ago. What is the probability that two orders get lost ? To avoid.

The delivery times are unclear, and there is no parcel tracking option. The product has no delaration, or country of origin mentioned, let alone a guarantee. The VAT is mentioned in fine print, and only when your package is delivered you will find out about it, or if you decide to contact the help desk before your purchase. Who does that for a website registered to a particular country? I find this sneaky. Be prepared for a long wait and for added costs.

Be aware that this company is not NZ based so all bags are coming from Europe. My bags never turned up but after a lot of emails and waiting, i finally got a refund.

They sent me the wrong product, then insisted I return it before receiving a refund. When they eventually refunded me for the original item, which I cancelled, and the postage for the returned item they refunded 73,32 SEK less than my expenses.

I placed an order on 29 Aug 2019 for a vacuum cleaner attachment from dustdeal.dk. The first result on google.dk was from dustdeal.dk and the price looked good (104 DKK). On the dustdeal website, it stated that delivery takes 1-2 weeks. I went ahead and placed the order. After 3 weeks had passed, there was no sign of the product. I looked at their website and noted that there is no phone number for customer service. I found out that they are not Danish company even though their website is in Danish, uses a DK domain and payment was taken in Danish Kroner. What a surprise! I emailed customer service, and upon further investigation, I found out that they ship the orders from their depot in Guernsey.聽

A week later, I receive a notice from customs that I must pay VAT plus import duty, a total of 185 DKK – more than the cost of the order! I contacted dustdeal.dk and requested to cancel the deal, as it was just under 30 days, and demanded a full refund immediately, as Danish customs state that they will send the goods back to the sender. In return they responded in email:

"Customs fees are in some cases charged by your country's national tax authority, and therefore聽DustDeal.dk is not responsible for them. These fees do not fall under our "worldwide free shipping" guarantee (please see our General terms, point 7.3).聽It is also clearly mentioned on our shipping page that the price excludes any potential import costs at customs.We would however like to offer you a compensation because of the inconvenience caused.聽To validate that you paid a customs fee we only need you to send us a proof of payment by e-mail. "

They were trying to get me聽to pay the VAT and import duty in return for聽an unspecified amount of compensation!

I wrote another email to insist on a refund under the聽30 day money back guarantee they advertise on their website.聽聽

According to the EU law in europa.eu Dustdeal are obliged to:聽
1)聽clearly聽inform of the聽total price聽for my purchase, including delivery聽and other related costs.聽聽
2) ask for聽explicit consent to any additional costs. Using a pre-ticked box does not constitute such consent and I would be entitled to reimbursement of any payment which has been collected in this way.聽
3)聽deliver orders within 30 days
4) inform about which cross-border delivery options are available and how much they cost.

They have completely failed to meet the criteria above and it is evident from reviews on Trustpilot that I am not the first to raise these issues. Far from making the total price clear, their website hides the fact that goods聽are coming from Guernsey by burying it in small print instead of asking for explicit consent to additional costs. At this time,聽I am inclined to report the company to the聽European Consumer Centre Denmark and the Danish Consumer Ombudsman.
