I placed an order several weeks ago and never heard anything about status. I emailed them a week later when they informed me that both items I ordered have actually been out of stock for a while but assured me the Accounting department would refund my funds the next business day. Well it's been almost 2 weeks and no refund and I can't get anyone to respond even to the several emails I've written to customer service. I would never order from them again. They can't seem to do the right thing by their customers. I just hope I will eventually get my money back!

I would just like to thank you very much for the order which I received today. I am so pleased with it that I know I will be coming back to you time and again for my dvd`s. They are excellent value and also perfectly packaged. I am impressed.

I have had a rocky road with this company. They mailed the set over a week late, with much reminding from me. Now I find 11 out of 47 discs of the full set have no English. They say they will mail replacements but it is 10 days later, no mailing, no further exchange with me. I'll let you know if anything gets better. For now, I suspect this is a far from respectable company. Do not trust all the reassuring comments.

Within 10 days of ordering my set of DVDs i had them in excellent condition. Everything was perfect, DVDs, packaging (all in English), updates on order & fast delivery (to Australia). Thank you DVDdeal, i would not hesitate to buy from you again.

I placed an order with Dvddeal.net on Thursday 3 Sept 2009 and it arrived the following Friday. I received an email containing the tracking number with my confirmation and I was able to track it all the way from the factory.

Being the first order from this company and not knowing what to expect after reading the previous review I was somewhat dubious about it but figured if the product were good quality it would save me a lot of money.

Examining the product upon its arrival I am more than impressed with the packaging and quality and am already planning my next order with them.

They do state on their website that the specials (which is what I ordered) are foreign manufactured and may have foreign writing on them. I was very pleased to see the discs and disc menus were all in english as well as the writing on the box.

Very very pleased with my purchase!

We still have heard nothing from them after having received a damaged ER set of DVD's as well as some of the discs in Chinese. We cannot get in touch with them and have no way of getting a refund. Please does anyone actually have a contact number or even a return address??

After read some negative comments against dvddeal.net, let me drop a few lines. I have ordered about ten dvdsets from dvddeal.net since 2007. Although these were one or two delays, most were speedy deliveries. The best of all, they always sent me the tracking numbers when shipped, so I could keep an eye on where the shipments were. DVDs were in good quality, thought there were some foreign languages on some boxes, which annoy me a little. A couple of dvds were defective, but they got replaced promptly. My emails usually got responded in a day, even in a few of hours. Frankly, dvddeal.net is the best online company I have dealt with.

I would like to simply repeat word for word what "Lorelei" wrote as it was nearly exactly what we experienced. Here's our story. We purchased the box set 7 seasons of Smallville. 42 Discs in all. We received it prompty. Hence the 1 star. From there it is all down hill. 21 discs either were dodgy or didn't work at all. No address is given on their website for refund while the return policy is that you must return the item for replacement or refund. I reported my problem and received a prompt email stating they woud replace the discs and I just had to give them a list of the defective discs. No return address provided. I did supply a list and I never heard from them again despite several emails over several weeks. No address to return. No replies to emails. Do not buy anything from these people. They don't deserve to be in business.

This was an absolute HORRIBLE experience!!!! I gave one star because I got the product, otherwise there would have been 0. I WOULD NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS RECCOMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE, EVEN MY WORST ENEMY!
First of all the product is made in China. Second, when I asked for a refund they sent ONE e-mail more than 2 days later and asked if I read the policy and nothing more. After repeatedly telling them I had, they COMPLETELY IGNORED MY REQUEST!!!!!! I e-mailed EVERYDAY WITH NO RESPONSE. I found out that if you return the item to an address (the ONLY address can be found at the-dvd, who invoices you) via Canada Post, after 30 days of no refund Visa will temporarily refund your card and will also go after dvddeal for the money. So to all those in my shoes: GO GET YOUR REFUND!!!!!!! Good luck 🙂
