I bought a boxed set of DVDs from these people. A week later they said it had been 'shipped'. 3 weeks later it hadn't turned up – they said they'd look into it. A week later I emailed them again, they said 'be patient – it must be a PO or Customs problem'. 2 weeks after that I asked for a refund. They said, 'No problem, but it'll take a week or so'. 2 weeks later I was told that the money had been deposited in my account – but it hadn't. I threatened legal action, and about 10 days later the money turned up. Three months of endless hassle and frustration, for nothing. These people are POISON. They don't have any dvds – there is nothing 'direct' about them. And once they've got your money they're masters of spinning a line in order to keep hold of it. Avoid them like the plague.

Ordering our DVD's was easy and when we experienced a delivery problem on our first shipment, Carol from DVD Shop Direct immediately arranged a replacement shipment which arrived safely.

Excellent customer support and follow-through.

I placed an order on 15th June and was notified it had been sent on the 18th June. I was refunded( by my request) on the 18th September. after being told 3 times please wait for a few more days,they would check with postal services or now sending via Amazon Direct Mail "because they have never let them down", well the order never turned up, so apparently a full investigation with both
Countries Postal Services and Customs will take place I was told.The money was in my account in a couple of days. Scam Site or not I will never ever touch them again. TOO DICEY FOR ME especially after placing an order from USA and I received that in 9 days.

Their customer service is second to none. They were very helpful with a lost article. Emails were answered quickly and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely will be buying from them again

When the DVD I ordered did not arrive Carol was helpful and apologetic and resent another one promptly which arrived safely. I was happy with the way this was dealt with. I would purchase from them again.

Due to the covid creating delays and the pressures the couriers were under- an order went missing.
Nothing was too much trouble for Carol who sorted it out and resent the order.
So patience and understanding – quality online service staff- awesome 馃憤馃従馃憤馃従馃憤馃従

I had an order not arrive. Understandable with international freight being impacted by Covid. I contacted DVDshopdirect to inform them of the DVD not arriving. The store quickly arranged that a replacement be sent to me. There were no hassles. No asking me to wait even longer. It had already been two months since I placed the order. The shop were friendly and helpful. My replacement disc arrived in around three weeks, which again is good considering international freight.

Very good customer service. The original package sent from the UK was lost in transit, and once notified, the staff at Dvdshopdirect where very responsive, quickly arranging a replacement item to be sent, which arrived safely! Thanks.

I ordered some dvds during covid19 level four lock down. When I didn't receive my first order, I emailed the Dvdshopdirect company and a very lovely lady sent me another lot of dvds which I have received. Her communication was always friendly and helpful, and I would definitely do business with them again.

Through no fault of their own my DVD got lost in the post…they organised a replacement quickly and with no hassle to me. Very happy with the customer service and the quick delivery times even during the pandemic. I am a returning customer for good reason.

I was delighted with the prompt reorder of a replacement DVD that was lost during the Lockdown period. Especial thanks to Carol who was prompt and courteous in responding to all emails, and following through until the replacement DVD arrived safely. Very impressed with your customer service and will use you again. Have been after this DVD (Vera Series 9) without success from our usual DVD supplier and so pleased that you stock it. Thank you.

Excellent customer service. I had a problem with a shipment going missing and wasn't sure if it was just a delay due to COVID. Carol gave me great customer service and sent out a replacement after being unable to trace the original package. She kept in communication with me the entire time, letting me know where things were at. Definitely recommend!

I placed an order during Covid lockdown, but the parcel (not surprisingly) got lost in the post. Carol at DVD Shop Direct couldn't have been more helpful, processing a replacement order and keeping in contact.

I had a similar experience to others – DVD didn't arrive, I enquired where it was, Carol said it will get sent again etc, but then 2.5 weeks after she said it has been resent it actually arrived.

I ordered a DVD in Feb. When it didn鈥檛 turn up in the time stated, I figured Covid-19. I waited a bit longer then emailed. The promised an investigation into the postal services and they sent another DVD. Great. This one also didn鈥檛 show up in the allotted time frame. Again, I waited a few extra days before emailing. Again, we鈥檒l chase the postal services and then we鈥檒l send one via Amazon Direct Mail. So, once again, fool me waited. And then I grew suspect. And I googled. And I found all these other reviews. And there is no such thing as Amazon Direct Mail. So I went back to the lovely, friendly, helpful Carol and asked for honesty and my DVD. I also said if they would just be honest and admit they are a scam site, then I鈥檒l take my refund. What do ya know? Within 12hrs I had an email advising I was getting a refund. And 3 days later the money was in my account. So I take that as them admitting to being a scam site.

I would have given them no stars, but at least I got my refund.

Original package got lost in the mail, this was during covid. I wrote to the dvd shop and told them I had not received it, and they sent a new 1, which I received today. Def use again
