E-Rewards

Don't waste your time. I took enough surveys to finally qualify for a $25 gift card. When it came time to cash out there was an error. When I contacted customer service thry gave me some generic response saying that they couldn't confirm the authenticity of the account and sorry you are suspended and thank you for your understanding.
Seriously? After spending countless hours answering questions they can't pay out.
Such a scam. I wasted so much time in the hopes of a measley gift card.

I have tried to contact them multiple times via e-mail, had ticket numbers but no one ever get back to me, the e-mails are all the same, no assistance. I can't take surveys or redeem my points, I have been trying to reach out for over three months and get no help, I wish i could redeem my points before I delete them. I would never recommend E-Rewards to anyone!

I have $237.00 I have earned on this site and they have blocked my account. After hours of survey taking I can't redeem the points I have earned. I would stay clear of this site.

I have been a member for 10 years and am quite done with them. They are literally the WORST!

Not only do they spam your email with 2 – 5 emails daily, they also make it not worth your time to do the surveys. $75 e-rewards currency is only worth $25 "real" money on a gift card. There are very few choices for gift cards. You are better off redeeming for airline points.

They trick you with $20 – $30 survey invitations, and after you spend 15 – 20 minutes filling out answers, those surveys either say you don't qualify or they have too many responses and kick you out. You end up with maybe 25 cents for your time. Average surveys are $4 – 5 "currency" and take about 20 – 30 minutes (divide the currency by 3 for what you make in real money!). Waste of time!

And good luck getting help from their horrible customer service! They take a whole week to respond and provide zero actual help besides canned copy-and-paste answers!

Beware of accidentally clicking the Unsubscribe button on their email. This will deactivate your account IMMEDIATELY without any confirmation that you want to deactivate your account. Then customer service will take weeks to get back to you and make you jump through hoops to reactivate your account when it should be easy considering you didn't mean to deactivate it in the first place!

Always cash out currency as you go because many people have lost thousands of dollars of their currency on these stupid surveys because e-Rewards is run by crooks. I never left any more than $75 or $100 in my account before redeeming for gift cards or airline points and suggest that you do the same.

Glad I cashed out my currency because I am tired of dealing with this BS company.

I had an account with Valued Opinion and they closed my account and gave no reason. Now as a member of E-rewards they send me an email about completing a 1099 form online (including my SS#) because in combination with One Opinion, I went over my limit for the year. I never knew they were connected! I had no intention to go over that amount and I receive SSI. This is a first for me. E-Rewards are very deceptive and they email you so many surveys and promise you will win a certain amount whoever completes the most in a particular time frame. I haven't seen a winner posted yet. I'm over this company. They should list the other sister companies they are running.

I redeemed a magazine reward on 8/22/20. I have now written to them (you can't call) and no one responds!
In addition, I got very tired of completing 5-7 minutes of a survey just to find out I don't qualify. Why can't they target surveys to your profile? This is not worth your time.

This is a scam. They don't offer variety of rewards as before. These days I believe they are going out of businesses. They steal your points by making any excuse, saying computer glitch, or we can not locate you.
It is not how it used to be, May be their management has changed, may be the pandemic or other reasons.
I can see that may others agree with me lately

After years of being a member I began taking my rewards and now find an error code that apparently has suspended my account. I have recently retired from one job and work part time at another so I have been doing alot of surveys lately. In the last 3 days I have received none and got error code QSB0303-17 today in an effort to redeem some points. No notice or help has been provided to rectify this situation.

I am a victim of this survey company just like the thousands of other people. I was invited by them via a previous survey company that was in the process of shutting down early this year. Did very well with the surveys and getting the gift cards. But as of August of this year, I was unable to get a gift card. After emailing the issue of problem, their response was to terminated me with some stupid excuse of having email or account issues. Really? That was a few months ago. Now I was emailing them about a discrepancy about me using my tablet to do the surveys… in which it wasn't there before. Their answer was this:

Hello Andrea Abernathy,
Thank you for your email. Thank you for your patience.
Unfortunately, the accuracy and attentiveness of your account activity has been flagged, and upon review of your account, we have been forced to suspend your account.
As a member of our program you may only have one account, provide accurate profile information and survey responses. You must also be thoughtful and attentive in responding to our surveys. When we have concerns about any of these program rules we are obligated to take steps to investigate and unfortunately suspend accounts.
We do not take account suspension lightly and do so only when account issues have been identified. At this time your account has been indefinitely suspended and you will no longer be able to participate in surveys or claim rewards from our website.

Thank you for your understanding.
Thank you for your patience.
Kind regards,
Carlo

Again… really? You ask one simple question and everything goes south. And surprisingly enough, I can still sign on that website and update my profile. This company is a lost cause… don't sign up!

I have been a member of e-Rewards for several years and have been doing surveys every day. I have enough points to put towards a new phone which I need to buy this week. However, e-Rewards have not sent me the links to two redemption, one in June and one in August, and they have not replied to my messages. Wht a waste of time. I am going to report them to the ACCC.

Absolutely ridiculous. Let's say they offer $15.00 for a 30 minute survey. You start the survey, answer most of the questions, then it alert you with a message saying the survey is full or that your device isn't compatible and only give you 25 cents. Not only that, but the rewards are ridiculous as well. Say you have $30 in rewards so you go to redeem it for a $30 gift card. Nope. $30 in rewards might get you a $10 gift card, but they charge you the full $30. The whole thing is a rip off. They're scamming people out of their time and information. Bunch of lying no good crooks!

First of all after reading several other reviews I consider myself lucky I guess. But, reading one review where this guy saved his 30,000 points seriously why not redeem? What was he saving all these points for ? a car? lol
Thats dumb..
My GF and I have been with E-rewards for over 10 years redeeming 1000's of of $$$ over the years. And last week her account was closed. It said on the site after logging in that she closed the account but she didnt. Her points still showed and was able to redeem them. She clicked on the link that said if she wanted to reactivate her account she could contact them. When we hit 100 we immediately redeem that has been going on every week for years. We're saving Gamestop cards and so far have $475 that will go towards the new PS5 coming out in Nov. Plus we have enough Hotel points that I won't have to pay for another hotel for years and haven't so far for the last few years as well. Fortunately my account is safe so far.
But e-rewards does this yearly and purge accounts. Happened to my GF a few years ago. And, within a week got a new invitation. If you get a new invitation make sure you use a different email / address that you used previously and change up your name a little maybe use your middle name. Otherwise when you fill out the new profile and use the previous info it will get denied. So word to the wise redeem your points frequently no sense in saving ridiculous amounts, use 'em or loose 'em.

If you're going to use e-Rewards, be very careful not to redeem rewards too often. I've had my account suspended twice, both times after periods when I received and completed many surveys over the course of a few months (which means I was redeeming a lot of rewards).

When I ask e-Rewards why my account was suspended, I get the boilerplate responses everyone else receives (just read other reviews here). Trying to get real answers from customer service at e-Rewards is as productive as trying have a conversation with a wall.

Even if you're accurately and honestly completing surveys, if you regularly redeem more than $100 in e-Rewards currency on a weekly basis for several months, you're at risk for getting suspended.

Of course, you should also never leave much currency in your account, as e-Rewards is notorious for suspending accounts (you can't redeem rewards with a suspended account). So my advice is to not take too many surveys with their panel so you avoid racking up (and redeeming) a lot of rewards currency.

Been a member of e-rewards site for several years and currently have Diamond status.
No longer provided survey's on the e-rewards site, I contacted customer support and was informed my account was suspended.
Being 100% compliant with e-rewards 'Terms & Conditions', I asked for details and all I got was another boilerplate response.
By the other complaints I'm reading, it appears e-rewards is removing accounts that they deem are no longer profitable (aka. Folks actually using their points)

Probably the worst out there! I鈥檝e been a member for six months and spent more than 100hrs achieving Diamond status which should make it more attractive and should provide me with better surveys. Safe to say, that never happened and the time you invest is not worth the rewards. Their site security and customer support is severely lacking and hardly existing and I would steer everyone away from this scam company!

I have already reported them and have also contacted three of the companies for which they 鈥榳ork鈥?including very unprofessional communication I鈥檝e had with them (before they decided to freeze and suspend my account and balance)

I would give them 0 stars but sadly that鈥檚 not an option

I was a member of another panel that merged into E-Rewards, and my rewards of $12 was also transferred over. I did one survey for them. Then they told me my account was blocked, for some scurious reasoning. I told them fine, but send me my $12.00. They have not done so, just send boilerplate emails. Be careful if you use them – they will cheat you!

Been a member of e-rewards for several years and quickly promoted to 'Diamond' status after they changed their site.
After no longer receiving surveys, I emailed e-rewards support and was informed my account was suspended (via their standard email boilerplate).
I asked for details behind what a lack of 'accuracy and attentiveness' means (aka: the facts) and all I got was another boilerplate response.
By the other complaints I'm reading, it appears e-rewards is 'cleaning house' and removing accounts that are redeeming too many rewards.

My account was suspended after I asked them why I get "server errors" when attempting to redeem a reward. I joined about a month ago. I noticed that I was not eligible for any more surveys also. This is financial and internet fraud. This can be reported to FTC/CFPB/FBI and can be reported to any company that advertises them. I did not get one penny of a reward.

I feel for a lot of you guys and gals as these rotten no goods have also indefinitely suspended my account without any kind of reasoning whatsoever just recently, after dealing with their morbid staff and the recurring issues going on at that site. So, i went one better and contacted their corporate office which is Dynata in Texas somewhere and spoke to a rep there and he took my name and info and hopefully he will pass that info onto the main people in charge of running that website and clean out their poor excuse of a customer service division and bring some stability back to that broken down site! Here's their number and ream them out for their actions if you are inclined to further this situation and for them to do something about that website…1-214-365-5000…what a bunch of crap as their site has had a many number of issues to deal with from looping repetitive surveys to only awarding partial credits after taking many minutes to complete them only to be at the end ad then that happens and then specific surveys freezing up the website. Then, you have to go through their BS e-mail contact form just to get someone to fix the recurring issues from their end after several days of waiting for a response and then waiting 90 days to claim a reward?! What hogwash and rubbish! This company needs to be investigated as I thought surveys were supposed to be all about giving your opinion on things and that there is no right or wrong answer but boy was I ever wrong…there are right and wrong answers to them that will then determine if you even qualify for the rewards of those specific surveys. That's outright fraud and bullcrap!! Folks, just call that number!!! Just keep trying and let them know what E-Rewards is doing, since Dynata owns that company outright and their execs need to know what they're doing to a lot of us here in addition to notifying the FTC, BBB, FBI, their sponsors and any other consumer advocacy group regarding their shady and fraudulent practices they're engaging in as of the past 60 days time and let's expose these crooks for what they truly are…vagabonds and charlatans and weasels and just go on their social media pages at Dynata and flood their inboxes with complaints for their transgressions.

UPDATE on 9/4/2020…just received this beauty of a correspondence from someone named Mona where it's another formatted letter and i call utter bullcrap and deception on their part for their outlandish reasoning as they're steadfastly refusing to issue the real reason why they did this to me and to a lot of you but I think I have a clue as to why, thanks to some of you whose comments I have read with a great deal of interest and these vagabonds need to be stopped…I have since sent e-mails to their corporate ownership group for further review and evaluation and here was E-Rewards response…outright rubbish, if you ask me.

I recently could not redeem my rewards on the site and emailed to see what was going on and like the others on the site was told I was suspended for not providing accurate responses. I think the answer is I was redeeming too much in rewards and they shut down accounts that were not profitable. I鈥檝e used the site for years but recently started taking more surveys. This is not fair considering I had hundreds of dollars in rewards that now apparently cannot be used. Avoid this scam!

Disgusting behaviour of this company. I have been using these for over 2 years now and i have now found out my account has been permanently suspended for no reason.
I had over 30000 opinion points saved and i am now unable to use these or cash these out.
I spent over 1 hour a day doing these surveys and filled them out properly ( APPARENTLY I DIDN'T!) Please be aware that this company will suspend your account with no reason or warning.

IF YOU HAVE ANY SAVED OPINION POINTS CASH THEM OUT NOW, DO NOT SAVE THEM.

Suspended for no reason! Disgusted.

Like others here,I stopped receiving surveys after becoming a Diamond member. I emailed and got the same copy and paste response.

I only have ONE account and always gave truthful responses. I can only conclude, therefore, that they didn't like how much I was earning from the surveys, so banned me!

Utterly disgusting.

I have to echo every single other comment from the last several weeks. I was also a Diamond member with many years spent answering surveys for this site. I've always had a great experience, but out of the blue, stopped getting survey opportunities. When I emailed, they responded with a very generic response that my account was suspended indefinitely. Now I can't claim over $340 in rewards. This is absolutely ridiculous! And now that I see how many other people this has happened to, I now realize they are a complete scam. If the company has run out of money, the least they could do is let people honor their rewards before shutting down the site. Such a ripoff!
