Well Im suprised on the Negative stuff on here as i have a few Einhell tools and found some of them really good. Since owning the 18V Brushless Combi Drill i havent been using the dewalt Impactdriver as the batteries and power are great. The Cordless Hedge Trimmer really good 3.00ah lasts ages, The Corded Wet/Dry Vacum is powerful although the power lead & Hose are too short. I have however bought a cordless circular saw (not brushless) and it just jams and stops. Only used it a handful of times, maybe its the blade or maybe the brushless is better. I have had hilti, makita, dewalt over the years but it all gets expensive so thought i would try a cheaper option, Im looking to replace the dewalt multiool so will let you know how it goes with einhell………

I purchased a cordless brushless angle grinder lasted 6 month. The switch just stop responding. I made a warranty claim and they sent me a new one. Within 2 months same problem. I then asked for my money back. No response to date been emailing but nothing. Not very impressed with the customer service

GC-PM 40 S self propelled lawnmower. Bought on 27 May, 2020. Engine failed 12, September 2020. Our lawn takes 15 minutes to mow. So 150 minutes or 2.5 hours of service.
Yes I check the oil before each use. Reading reviews the Chinese engine failure seems common.
I will let you know how Einhell service responds on Monday.

We are a professional lawn mower repairer who have obtained parts in the past. Now since the England based service is closed I have not received a response to my contact form made inquiry, not even an acknowledgement. Their machines require parts unique to their company. Reluctantly I now refuse any Einhell with broken parts or even require an air filter. A general point. Sellers should give notice to customers that if parts are needed they cannot be obtained

Until recently I have been an advocate for Einhell tools, especially the Power Xchange range. I have quite a range of their kit. Last month one of my 3.0Ah batteries failed. It was made in 2017, so I was a bit disappointed and contacted Einhell vis their web messaging. I didn't get any reply. But replaced the battery as I needed one. Today the new replacement battery has just failed. Same fault as the first. This time I called Einhell customer services and after 11 minutes in a que I was cut off. I know of a least three people who now use Einhell because of my endorsement, I hope they have better luck than me. Go for a more reliable make, one with good customer service.

My Einhell strimmer lasted just 2 months. The base which holds the spools is made of thin plastic, once it touches a stone it flies off. I've glued it back 4 times now . Not robust enough to be a garden tool.

Einhall customer service is appalling as is there courier service Tuffnells. We bought a lawnmower which has already been repaired once and needs repairing again. My partner gets in touch with einhall who then get in touch with tuffnells to pick it up. On first occasion waited in all day with a no show then collected and repaired it. Now we have been told by einhall it will be collected and on 3 occasions waited in and tuffnells still not been to collect it. They never keep us informed as to what is happening. I am sick of my partner having to ring them and getting fobbed off, never mind the expense of having someone cut our grass. If its too much bother to organise collection just refund us.

It's a shame that I have to start by giving this company a single star but the option for zero is not a choice. I bought a mower from Tool Station thinking it would do the job that I had in mind for it, first thing I noticed was that EVERY time I used it ,I had to top up the oil which is something I have never had to do before with previous mowers but it was something I could live with as it was the only mower I had and couldn't afford to buy another one. Took it out last week , topped up the oil (again) and started to mow my grass, all was good until about 5 minutes in and it started making a "clacketty " noise, thought it didn't sound right so immediately stopped it only to find out it was the final demise of said mower. It has apparently bust the crank and done summat to the piston, this thing isn't even a year old and it's not like my garden is the size of Wembley Stadium so it's not been overworked. I wont bother my backside trying to get a refund as after reading customer care reviews on here I think I'd just be wasting my time but what I will do is warn other unsuspecting people to steer clear of this company and pay the little extra and get some quality.

Einhell scariffier. One star for looks, that's it, 2 year warranty, what a joke, mine blew up in less than 2 hours, whiteout a doubt the worst machine of any type I have every bought.
Complete waste of money, fit for a skip in less than 2 hours, avoid at all cost.

The Einhell multi function strimmer and chainsaw is good as long as you are over 175 cms tall. It is very heavy and does take into account people of smaller stature. Very disappointed with this as there is no way to shorten length ( tried this with the shortest length possible) and still too long. I like Einhell products bit this one is the worst possible and causes backache, poor posture and possible damage to ones limbs

No better quality wise than a cheapo from Wilkinsons or Argos Value range etc… Got a corded drill and paid 拢50 which I thought would give me a decent quality tool, on par perhaps with a DeWalt or Makita etc.. How wrong I was, low quality plasitc case that looked and felt cheap, silver paint (supposed to look like brushed-alloy but a lot worse) that chipped off with the slightest contact with hard surface, bearings in the head started to whine after an hour or so of average use, going back for a refund at less than two weeks old…

Einhell Battery Grinder.
It鈥檚 a joke and should never have been released for sale. Not fit for purpose. The 1.5ah battery lasts 4 mins if you lucky, constantly cuts out if you attempt to put any pressure on. The Sun cuts through metal faster. Avoid at all cost.
Buy Milwaukee You get what you pay for.

Bought a brushcutter through Toolstation. If I cut anything more than a blade of grass the cord snaps. The automatic line feed does not work so had to take the head apart and physically feed it through each time the cord snaps. Fitted blade and then found that the air filter casing and air filter fell off – couldn't find the screw that holds it in place so had to arrange to return it. Long story short the customer service from Einhell was poor and frankly insulting.

Bought a drill, battery pack failed in 2 weeks and toolstation replaced. About 2 weeks out of guarantee the drill itself failed. Annoyed but liked the drill…and still had two Einhell batteries, so (foolishly) bought a second drill which also failed just after a year.
They look like sturdy German design but are junk and not up for anything beyond hobby use. Won鈥檛 be buying any of this brand again.

I previously written a review about Einhell in Trustpilot and they asked to be contacted privately which I did. My review was in regards to a new petrol trimmer that leaked petrol all over my shoulder on the second use. I also mentioned the bad experience that I had with their customer services team member that hanged the phone during our conversation. After receiving the reply from Truspilot I thought to give them a chance to put things right. A guy called Chris Beckinsale followed up my case and below is the demand I made before returning the product back to me.

1- The product is 100% safe to use
2- There is no risk of petrol leaking again in the same way it did before the repair
3- In the event of the product causing any injury or damage to the user or their property Einhell takes full liability.

To my shock Einhell couldn't guarantee any of those points. Instead they provided me with a long answer that doesn't hit the nail on the head. The bottom line is that I'm asking them to guarantee me that their trimmer is 100% safe and the reason why is simply because of my own terrible experience with their product. In my case it was a Near Miss but could have been a very different story. Lucky enough the petrol leaked just after start so the engine wasn't hot, if it happened later it would potentially catch fire and would have been impossible for me to escape unhurt due to the fact that I had the belt on.
I have purchased products from other big names before but never had any experience as bad as this one. Truly disappointing experience starting from the product quality and a terrible after sales service that leaves you speechless. To make matters worse they haven't investigated the issue, at list no one has come to see me to check how this happened. I suggest that Einhell changes their name to InHell. That would be a very popular name.

Two companies is a joke.
Toolstation one of their suppliers must have been paid back handers.
Under sale of goods act 1974 no company can refuse to take back faulty goods.
Tool station refused as the strimmer I bought even though I drained the fuel they could not take it back . EIN HELL model started to come loose making squeal noises.
Now two companies are to fall foul of the HSE act . Iv stopped the use of the strimmer for safety reasons ie FIRE RISK.

Use for domestic only as I use STHILL for my buisness

DO NOT BUY ANY OF THIS CRAP FROM TOOLSATATION OR ANY STOCKISTS OF EIENHELL PRODUCTS. Time to dent the ceo proffit

Don't, what ever you do, buy anything from this company.

I bought a leaf blower vac from Aldi, which was manufactured by Einhell and had a three year warranty. after 18 months it stopped working. I contacted their customer service department and they said they would deal with it, they asked me for the model number which I gave them, they then said I needed to fill in an online claim form. Einhell sent a n email with a link to the form, the link didn't work, I copied the link address it still didn't work, they sent another email with a the customer service email address. I photocopied the receipt and sent it along with all the information the required. I got an email saying they would replace the machine if i removed the rating plate and posted it to them. the next day they sent an email saying they wouldn't replace the machine but they would refund the purchase price by cheque, I explained to them that our local bank branch had closed and I would have a 45 mile round trip to put the cheque, then i would have to take the faulty machine to the council recycling depot to get rid of it, another 10 mile trip. then i still had the problem of finding a replacement machine. further more I told them that I was 70 years old and in poor health their reply was couldn't care less and I could take it or leave it. the customer service woman I spoke to, to complain was unhelpful and arrogant and insisted on talking over the top of me all the time.

Is Einhell legit or scam? Can I trust Einhell?
