My husband and I are in our 60's and I was not able to keep up with my husband on our traditional bikes so we quit biking. For our 30th anniversary my husband talked me into purchasing an electric bike and after doing research we found Electric Bike Company. We received the (2) model S's and they are amazing! We have been riding several times a week 15-30 miles at a pop. The bikes have rekindled our joy of bike riding. This is the best bike I have ever owned! I've had my bike for about 3 weeks now and I'm getting compliments left and right I got a little scratch on my bike when I first got it and Blake was kind enough to send me touch up paint customer service is awesome it's nice to do business with the people that know how to take care of their customers no no I didn't now we didn't they call me a liar

The best customer service experience I could ask for and my bike is so awesome. Thank you Blake for the great service and willingess to take our calls and answer all our questions. I am now a daily rider due to the pure enjoyment and ease of being able to ride on all our hilly streets. My bike is so well made compared to other company's e bikes that I've seen. After researching multiple ebike companies, I went with EBC. For one they are assembled in the USA all the way down to the paint job. You can get custom colors or have a choice on the standard colors and mix & match component colors. Customer service has been great!

The bike arrived on time and in great condition. The battery was faulty but another was sent immediately. The beachcomber style bike is designed for a slow comfortable ride. The wide seat is great for this style. However, to ride faster, the cyclist needs to fully extend the legs to get good leverage. The wide seat does not allow for this.
In addition, this bike has a cadence sensor but no torque sensor. So the cyclist has to pedal 90 to 180 degrees before the cadence sensor comes alive and the bike will move with motor assist. So many people will use the throttle control by the right thumb to get the bike going. So if someone was on the board walk with the seat low and both feet on the ground that would be fine. But if the cyclist is trying to get on the bike and he presses the throttle to get going, he's only half way to being fully on the bike and the bike shoots forward with the rider half on the bike. I guess torsion sensors are expensive, but I think this bike (model S with large battery) would be a real winner if it had a torsion sensor.

Otherwise, it came with a great paint job. The front shocks are great for my hands, and I'm enjoying the upright body position. It needs a horn or bell. Not sure what to get.

My bike came packed so nicely. There were no scratches or scrapes anywhere. The best part was that I did not have to put the bike together as it was shipped assembled. Beautiful high quality bike that I would highly recommend.

Wonderful experience buying a bike from these Guys!! I was in the market for a bike powerful enough to pull myself (225lbs) and my SUP board (and its trailer) up my local Dana Point hill from the harbor, and this Model C is awesome! When I'm in peddle assist mode, I'm moving up Golden Lantern at a pretty nice jaunt of about 12ish mph. While cruising, I have got the speed up to about 25 mph.
You're capable of designing your bike to personalize it with color options I've never even seen before, which is a pretty cool feature. Literally, every part of the bike, you can make a specific color that fits your personality.
The sales team was great & easy to get ahold of!! Anytime you log onto their site, there's an immediate pop-up bar that connects you with someone in their company! Blake & Paul helped me select the perfect bike for my needs, and Paul after he delivered my bike directly to my home, allowed me to text him those "stupid" questions people have when they don't take the time to read the instructions. He was always cool about it, and even offered me to "text/call him anytime".
