My wife and I wanted to buy a new pellet stove as we could no longer buy parts for the old Heatilator SX. After exhausting research, we decided on the Comfortbilt HP 22 as the reviews were stellar and more importantly, the customer support looked unbeatable.
I am both mechanically inept as well is suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder. This is a toxic combination for any customer service department because it involves lots of frustrating calls. Not so for Comfortbilt. They always had a great attitude, answered the call or promptly called back, and always did their very best to help on short notice. I was really impressed. The initial paperwork says 鈥渨elcome to the comfortbilt family鈥?and they actually mean it. They had great advice, sent out parts right away, and things arrived earlier than I expected. The attitude, integrity, and intention of this company is incredible.
We recently got the exhaust pipe connected and the new stove is running great. We keep it lit at around the first or second level much of the day and it eliminates the need for central heating. It is also much quieter and easier to run than the old stove. In fact, there is no comparison whatsoever. We feel so fortunate and blessed that companies like Comfortbilt still exist that actually mean what they say about wonderful products and even better customer support.
If you are not a fix it kind of person, or even if you are, you will never go wrong with the Comfortbilt HP22. Our research definitely paid off.
