I reviewed Empire Medals a couple of weeks ago as I was very disappointed that I hadn't received my order in time for Christmas and it was a very special present for my husband.

Now here's the rest of the story 鈥︹€?

After trying to contact Empire Medals to no avail I received a phone call today from the Customer Services Manager and she said that the service I had received was not good enough. She said that they had an unexpected influx of orders, which they didn't expect, due to the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. She continued to say that was no excuse though and that they should have fulfilled my order.

What I didn't expect though is that she has offered me a full refund and said that my order will be with me tomorrow (I have already received an email with the full amount refunded). So not only have I received an Unreserved apology but I am also going to receive my order.

Please do not let my first review put you off ordering from this company as since I had that phone call I am no longer worried; as I couldn't get through I was worried that the company no longer existed. Also, my husband bought me a frame with copies of my dad's medals mounted in the frame and the quality of the product was excellent.

Not impressed! I am livid to say the least. I wanted to get my Dad's medal and picture munted for his 80th Birthday on Boxing Day. I spoke to someone there who said that he was making the medal mounts that day so would be able to deliver it by Christmas. I've since heard nothing. Every time I have phoned I get an answer machine so have left message but nobody has come back to me. I have now just phoned again and they are syut until the new year. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IS YOU WANT RELIABILITY AND GOOD COMMUNICATION. I AM REALLY ANNOYED WITH THIS

I am somewhat rather disappointed and dissatisfied with my order from Empire , it arrived after weeks and weeks ( only a BAOR medal but nevertheless) of waiting to find you send me the medal stamped RAF I have never served in the RAF and also the 鈥榗lasp鈥? that鈥檚 not a medal clasp ? its merely a stick on piece of metal with my number and name on鈥 cant really do much with it 鈥?I certainly begrudge paying what I have for the service that I have been provided with鈥t鈥檚 a farce 鈥?.complete rip off 鈥 honestly thought I would be getting a bit more quality and workmanship 鈥?

I am happy to return this order back to be totally honest it was over 拢50鈥?truly not worth it

I await a satisfactory outcome from Empire …will I get it ?…it seems these days all people want to do is rip people off ,

A prime example of a company who under promises and over delivers. The service was fantastic a lot quicker than expected even in the middle of them moving location. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend to anyone. Well done the Empire Medals Team.

Excellent service, sending packages, confirming order and returning carefully. I made an error in detail of order, which was clearly explained and corrected. Perhaps the cost section could be clearer although it could have been me!

I knew the overall layout I would be getting for mounting and presenting of my grandfathers medals from the online pictures but on arrival the end product was better than I ever expected, excellent quality and first class workmanship, would not hesitate to recommend empire medals

Empire Medals not only mounted my service medals quickly but did an amazing and tidy job with them. I also purchased a frame to keep them in when not being worn, again the quality of this product was top notch. A very friendly, secure professional service from start to finish and I would highly recommend them.
