i normally don't write reviews but these guys were great! my roommate and i last minute needed an exterminator. we reached out less than week before we had to move out and they squeezed us in for an inspection. we then decided to go through with their services and once again, they squeezed us in two days before we had to move out. they honestly did us two huge favors! i had done a little bit of research for exterminators and found they are quite expensive but honestly, was pleasantly surprised by the price they gave us (it still wasn't inexpensive but less than i thought it was gonna be). i really think they gave genuine advice and really wanted to help us especially since my roommate and i are only 24 and never had to deal with this so we didn't really know what to expect. they were very professional, helpful, and honestly went above my expectations with squeezing us in to help us out. i would absolutely recommend them.

My mother had Caterpillars in her tree that would drop down on you while you walked to her door. I called so many different companies and everyone said "we don't do caterpillars" UNTIL I called Evans Pest Control. They were so friendly on the phone and had come out within a week to treat her tree and she has been caterpillar free for almost 2 years now. I recently had to contact Evans Pest Control again for my home after we suspected we had termites. They came out quick and were able to figure out we had carpenter ants almost immediately. They came back and treated the problem area and we haven't seen an ant since. I really appreciate the customer service and honesty of this company, and their prices are more than fair. We'd highly recommend them!

This company has false advertisement I called them about a squirrel because on there website and this yelp page they clearly are capturing squirrels and raccoons , i was told they don't do wildlife

I had called Evans Pest after noticing some ants in a house I recently purchased. I wanted to get the whole house exterminated anyway since I just moved in. Krystal was so knowledgeable and did a fantastic job! She even checked the spots that were treated for termites prior to my settlement (by a different company that the sellers used). Evans Pest is very responsive and scheduled my appointment quickly. I will definitely use them for any future pest issues and schedule regular exterminations with them. Thanks again!

I can't believe I have never reviewed these guys. We bought our first house that had termites upon the first inspection. Something to be expected living in northern liberties and buying an old house. We reached out to Evans Pest control for termite and general pest control. It's run by Charles and Jeremy Evans who are both great with their customers. They gave us very good advice to keep our home pest free. They have been taking care of our regular pest control needs since then. I have to say, we never got any pest or termite problems since we started working with them.

After the purchase of our new home, my husband and i quickly realized that we inherited some unwanted tenants. We had one visit from Evans and I haven't seen a mice since, not even dropping in their regular hiding place. So happy I took the time to research this company. Very happy with the service .

Thrilled and relieved that the situation with the mice are under control. So I received a call from one of my tenant last week. She was complaining that she saw a mouse in the kitchen several times. I did a little research and came across Evans Pest control. Due to the positive online reviews, I decided to give them a shot. Charles arrived at the location between the exact time we were scheduled for. He called 15 minutes and told me he was on his way. The whole experience is refreshing. Finally a company that do what they said they were going to do. Once arrived, it took less than 30 minutes for him to perform his service. His price was fair, all in all, I have to say Charles was professional and takes his job seriously. He also didn't try to up charge additional services to me, he was upfront and told me that I shouldn't have any issues going forward. If I do, it would be at a discount fee, not the same initial rate as the first time. I was surprise for a change and realize I need to lock in his number in. There are not a lot of honest professional out here these days. Everyone is trying to gouge you with every opportunity they get. So I would definitely recommend Evans Pest Control if you need an exterminator.

I thought i had Bed Bugs and used Yelp to identify the best choices. I feel blessed that Evans was my final choice. Everything about my experience was great. The other companies were quoting $600-$900 before getting to my home. But not Evans. He searched diligently, showing me what he was doing as he worked. I thought i might have been bitten by mosquitoes, so he went looking for a problem in my back yard. He helped me clean up underneath my bed. He helped me put on my new mattress cover. He worked hard; he made sure my house was not infected, and he helped me any other way he could. I will always use Evans. I wish there service line was greater. I would use them for everything.

I used Evans years ago and was very happy with their termite control
work. It may be necessary for me to call them again and I do so without trepidation.

We are dealing with an ant problem. Evans was very responsive when we sought quotes, and respectful when we initially decided to go with another local company who offered a lower price. When the problem wasn't solved and that other company reneged on the free follow up they offered, we decided to hire Evans. Again, they were responsive, quick with scheduling and very thorough and knowledgeable when they came to do the treatment. Unfortunately, they found termites in addition to ants (or fortunately since we wouldn't have known they were there) and provided a recommended course of treatment and estimate for that as well. The ants seemed to be knocked out for the most part, but we were still seeing a few stragglers so we asked them to come back for a follow up, which again was easy and prompt. This time the owner, Chuck, came. Over the course of both visits Chuck and his team displayed impressive knowledge, friendliness, and professionalism. I would recommend them for your pest control services.

I wasn't happy because there was still mice, spider and bugs few days later. I wasted $200 something and $85 on follow up. I'm sorry, but I am disappointed.

Just about as nice, fast, professional, and efficient as they come. Great customer service from my very first phone call to the very last visit. It's nice to see an old fashioned family business doing a great job. Always going to support local business over a big chain. This team did a fantastic job at our home. Woman who answered the phone was great right to technician was great the owner was so nice and helpful. . I truly can't say enough. They were neat and clean and respectful and no nonsense. Very fair price, I highly recommend them!

I can't overstate how impressed I was with the friendliness, professionalism and thoroughness of Krystal, the exterminator from Evans Pest Control – as well as the people who initially handled my inquiry and followed up. Fast, friendly, efficient and accommodating – and worth the cost. The other services I've used in the past pale in comparison with Evans, who even sent a report detailing everything they found and did in my house in order to alleviate my mouse infestation. I would recommend this company to anyone struggling with any sort of pest invasion.

We are so happy we hired Evans to help us keep mice out of our South Philly home. They are super responsive to phone calls and can even do scheduling by text, which is really helpful! We've worked with Jeremy and Mike. Both were really nice and very competent. They knew how to shut down channels that mice use to travel around a house. We're so grateful to be mice free!

I saw two rats in my basement today, called them, and they made arrangements to come by the end of the day. 15min after putting the poison and traps out, we had caught one rat!! I am so thankful for their passion and explaining so much to me so I can keep the rats out of my basement better. I highly recommend Evans Pest Control!

Well obviously if you're looking here, you HATE bugs. I HATE bugs. I hate them even more so when they invade my newly purchased home. I did so much research in finding the right pest/extermination company when our basement bug problem persisted. I sincerely hope their amazing first impression is just as great through the long haul! (I will update my review if needed, given this is my first service treatment, fingers crossed!). Received an appointment the next day after calling, and Jeremy was actually recently here to spray my entire house and point out problematic areas. SO informative – He is super chill and a wealth of knowledge, which made me feel more at ease. It didn't feel rushed, and he was more than willing to answer questions and give advice. I will be getting the two week follow-up, which is a great feature to their preliminary service… and most likely will be getting quarterly maintenance to keep me bug-free for years & years to come (have to double check with the husband first lol)

This is my first experience dealing with a pest management company and while I was had some trouble in the beginning, they were receptive to my concerns and offered to reconcile the issue in a very professional manner. I contacted for initial bed bug inspection and had someone come out a few days later to find there were bed bugs. I wasn't able to get an appointment until 5 days later, and with tenants its inconvenient when they have nowhere else to go. Anyway I got a spray treatment done for the infected room, not covered under warranty, and was told I could go back into the room 4-6 hours after. Later that night my tenant found bugs again, so I contacted Evans and they mentioned it takes 7-10 days for the treatment to fully reach effectiveness. Later the next week I have the heat treatment and seems to be the most effective method when you have very tricky bed frames with a lot of crevices. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately very disappointed with my service. I have been dealing with an extensive mouse infestation for months. I am a young, single person with a very tight spending budget. After reading hundreds of reviews, I made a very deliberate decision to go with Evan's because it seemed like I'd get the most out of my nearly $300 investment. Unfortunately, the service I received was extremely rushed and haphazard. He did not even bait half of the traps, and barely looked around for entry points (I later found 5 very obvious holes that he had completely overlooked). After two weeks passed, I realized the problem had actually gotten worse. I cancelled my follow-up appointment, filled the holes I had found on my own, and bought better glue traps (theirs were cheap) and properly baited them. I have since made slight progress.

I really regret using this service. I feel like I flushed $300 down the toilet.

The reason I am giving 2 stars is because everyone I dealt with throughout the process was very friendly. Maybe this was an exceptional case, but I strongly feel that I did not receive the service I paid for.

After realizing I had a flea issue, I did some research into what options I had and saw Evans was highly rated so I decided on their services.

I had a flea issue and 2 cats which just made things even worse. After my initial call to Evans we set up a date and time and I vacated the cats from the house about 2 days prior. They also sent me a handy prep and post care guide to get ready for their arrival.

They arrived pleasantly early within the scheduled time and got to work. We weren't allowed back in for 4 hours which was a small price to pay for the extermination of those troublesome bastards.

Approximately 2 weeks later we scheduled a follow up visit which was included in the quote and again they arrive pleasantly early and knocked out the work.

It's been about 4 days later since the 2nd visit and I have to say no more fleas. The whole process with Evans was extremely easy and professional. The gentlemen that came each time were friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend their services.

– If you are getting your house fogged be sure to remove the flammable vapor sensor. The treatment will destroy it and its $45 to replace it.

Happy to recommend this family business. Jeremy takes joy and pride in his work -this guy loves his job, and has a lot of experience setting traps and problem solving even tricky situations. When dealing with rats in our home, it felt good to have someone who not only doesn't mind doing the dirty work, but even gets a kick out of it. The business was cordial, flexible and eager to accommodate us.

I had a wonderful experience with Evans pest control. Audrey got us in right away and really understood how upset we were about our situation. Jeremy was the one who came out to do the extermination and he was absolutely wonderful- very personable and reassuring. He went above and beyond to take care of the problem. Not only that but he came back 2 weeks after to follow up. I will certainly use them again and ask for Jermey if we run into any issues going forward.

I highly recommend Evan's for any pest control needs. My husband and I were dealing with a recurring pest issue, and any time we've called Evan's, we've been met with personable costumer service and prompt action. Jeremy is knowledgeable and genuinely cares about fixing problems for his customers.

Apparently the seller had run a catering business out of her residential kitchen.
Why do I tell you this?
Because when we moved in there was a layer of filth over everything in the kitchen as well as the laundry room (she had a second fridge in there and stored all her dirty pots back there as well). A cleaning company cleaned it, we cleaned it, we cleaned it again, but the inevitable happened.
A roach was spotted. Then another. And then a few in the bathroom. Noooooooo!!!!
This lady was such a slob that the roaches had been living like kings on the scraps throughout the home.
We called Evan's Pest Control.
Rich and Jeremy arrived on time and ready to get to work. Since I was at work, my wife showed them where we were having issues. Both of them were attentive and listened to the situation my wife described.
They noticed that under the oven looked dirty. My wife let them know we had only been in the home a couple weeks and had not cleaned under there as of yet.It was evident when they pulled out the range that it had not been touched in years!
They wouldn't let my wife clean it, but instead did it themselves. It was FILTHY under there. Both guys got down and cleaned it to where the Virgin Mary herself would have eaten Easter dinner from that floor.
Points of entry were identified and sealed. Snap traps and bait were laid throughout the basement and first floor. Both guys gave good advice on what can be done to keep pests away. One of the biggest things? Keep the house clean!
Jeremy came back 2 weeks later for a follow up. In that 2 weeks we had seen NO mice. There were a lot of roaches right after the visit (mainly in the basement), but they were all sluggish and slowly dying. But only 2 roaches had been seen in a 9 or so day period, and they had next to no life in them.
These guys are great, and their prices are very fair. You definitely get what you pay for!
I will never call another company for any pest issues. It's my recommendation you do the same.

Jeremy with Evans Pest Control went above and beyond to help me with a serious squirrel problem in the ceiling of my closet. Jeremy was prompt, thorough, creative, and kind (both to me and to the four baby squirrels we found in the ceiling). When I discovered that the papa squirrel had moved back in to the closet about half an hour after Jeremy left, he came right back to the house and chased the squirrel out, and then clambered up a ladder in the pouring rain to temporarily plug up the hole to the outside. He even called to check in on the squirrel situation the next day! I was so wowed by the quality of customer service and genuine caring exhibited by Evans Pest Control. I hope I won't need to use their services again, but I would immediately recommend them to anyone with any sort of pest problem. It was really a great experience.
