Six weeks and still no sign of my son's new glasses. I started calling after three weeks of waiting. I wait on hold 45 mins to an hour every time that I call. I am then told that it will only take "a little longer" and they won't tell me why it is taking so long. I never would have used this company, but it was one that was recommended by my insurance company. I called my insurance to recommend that they take Eyeconic.com off of their recommendation list.

Terrible service. My $500 glasses have been preparing for shipping almost 2 months and still not ready, Customer service always say the same – we don't have any info when you will receive it. You gonna get blind before you any glasses from that service!

I paid extra for progressive and anti halo. Got non of that. Then when I called was told that I had to return glasses to be tested. I asked how am I supposed to work. And was given the policy statement. OK I'm done here. Never will get another dime from me or anyone I know.

I purchased 2 pairs of glasses. A few months after receiving one pair I emailed for an exchange because they were falling apart. My first email was 1.2.20 I have sent everything they required four times. No contact since May and as of June 13th, 2020 still no resolution. I'm notifying my insurance to warn people.

I am very frustrated with you process. I will be leaving a review on all of your sites today. I purchased 3 pair of glasses and I need to exchange just the lenses but I was told by and representative and a supervisor that I have to request a refund for the entire order and start over. That is so ridiculous!

I rarely write a review. Honestly – seeing all the other poor reviews at least made me feel normal. So disappointed in their customer service and handling of my order – I called my insurance company and made sure they were aware. A rep name Bianca actually lied to me about their ability to release a prior claim and start a new one. Ironically, a week earlier i had another appointment with another provider and the customer service rep at Eyeconics was able to call my Insurance company and have it released while I was on the line with her. But only 5 days later I was told by Bianca that she couldnt do that…she clearly lied. After wasting 5 days – they tell me the frames I ordered were not available and came across with no desire to help fix the situation. This was a horrible experience and they need serious customer service training – oh yeah and better monitoring of their vendors inventory.

My husband and I both needed new glasses so we used Eyeconic.com since they take VSP insurance. The frame selection was good and the virtual try-on made picking a frame easy. Eyeconic kept us notified of every step; verifying the prescriptions, processing the order and shipping. Our glasses arrived a week after we ordered. The glasses fit perfectly and the prescription lenses are correct and flawless . Thank you Eyeconic!

I wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered my glasses. I have worn glasses for over 40 years. I have never dealt with such a lousy eyeglass company before. I can see better out of my 3 year old prescription than from the glasses they sent me.

Customer service told me to have my doctor examine them to see if they were made incorrectly. The Optometrist at my Opthalmologist office said because they鈥檙e progressive lenses he can鈥檛 tell whether they made them incorrectly.

Unfortunately, I was ill and missed the 30 day return deadline. Now I鈥檓 stuck with an almost $200 pair of glasses I can鈥檛 see out of. I will never use them again. They鈥檙e incompetent charlatans.

These people clearly don't know what they're doing. I'm surprised that VSP has an agreement with them, but I'm sure it financially benefits VSP.

My order for prescription glasses was never validated for over a week and got the run around multiple times. When I inquired if I am able to cancel, they promptly gave me a shipping confirmation, which…. was bogus. UPS has no record of this package. When I called them to inquire, the rep had no record of the shipping email going out and said 'they would put an urgent request on it' … I cancelled the order. Hopefully they don't screw up them hitting my vision benefits.

Took one month to receive my order. Apparently they lost the order and had to completely reprocess the order. No reason for it to take a month to receive my glasses. Will not use them again

My experience with this company was very bad every step of the way. They will tell you that your order will take 7-10 business days to create in the lab and 2 days to ship. Essentially this order took 7 extra business days to get to me than it should have (which equates to 2 actual weeks of more time) and I had to call 5 times to ensure all my orders were on track and get updates on why it wasn't on time. They sent me the wrong tracking number and they didn't apply the $50 credit they said they had. Basically this company will not do any of the things they say they will and will not communicate effectively unless you call them. Details below:

3/26: Placed my order

3/27: Business day 1 – my subscription was verified (this is the time that they start the 7-10 days, from the date your prescription is verified, not when you submit your order)

4/8: Business Day 9 – I called them for an update because I had not received anything in two weeks (9 of the 10 business days it's supposed to take to make the glasses). They tell me that my order didn't pass inspection and had to be remade but that it should ship by Friday 4/10

4/10: Business Day 11 – I call them again because its 3pm and I haven't received anything. I'm told that my order passed inspection and was sent to shipping but didn't make the cutoff so it would be shipped the next Monday or Tueday.

4/14: Business Day 13 – I receive an email stating that my glasses had a scratch on the lens and needed to be remade and that they didn't expect my order to ship "any time soon". I called and asked how my order could have not passed inspection when I was told the previous Friday that they passed inspection and were sent to shipping. They told me that they do a secondary inspection at shipping to ensure quality and that my glasses didn't pass that inspection so they need to be remade and would likely ship the next Tuesday and arrive by the next Friday. At this point I was very frustrated and asked to cancel my order. They told me that it would take 3-5 business days to release the hold on my funds and 5-7 business days to get my insurance re-upped so I can go to another provider to buy glasses. Instead they offered to expedite my order and give me $50 off, so I took this option and told them that if I have any more problems I will be cancelling my order.

4/15: Business day 14 – I receive a shipping notification that my glasses had shipped which included a tracking number with instructions not to track my order for 24 hours because the information would take that long to update.

4/16: Business Day 15 – 28 hours after I receive the shipping notification I try to track my order, it shows on the UPS website that the tracking number doesn't exist. I call UPS to see if there is a mistake. The UPS associate reiterates that the tracking number I gave them does not exist. I then call Eyeconic again and ask them about the tracking number, they tell me that they had sent me the wrong tracking number in the email they gave me and then supplied me with the correct tracking number.

4/17: Business day 16 – I finally receive my glasses and they are in good shape and my prescription is correct. I go to check my bank account and they charged me the full amount – no $50 off like they had stated when I almost cancelled my order. I had to call them AGAIN to ask about the $50 off. I'm told that they will apply it today but that it will take 3-5 business days to get to my account. I asked them why it wasn't applied in the first place, they told me that they can only apply the credits after the full amount is charged so I asked them "so if I never called to ask about it, would it ever have been applied?" They said "I think the supervisor was watching this order but I'm not sure"

Just Purchased Ray-Ban sunglasses from their website. Glasses are great and I love it. They have what they call a price matching service. I found the same glasses on Ray-Ban website for 30% discount. When I submitted a request to customer service via email, I never received any answer. Now I called them to follow up. The response was truly disappointing. First the representative stated that she "Found the email". Regarding the return obviously they have some fine print on the website that I would encourage people to read. They only match to a certain website (Vendor) and not to every one (even the manufacturer it self). She offered to point where theses fine prints are in the website but I was over with it. I wont recommend this company nor going to buy from them in the future for false advertising.

I hate others had a bad experience because mine was great! This company was recommended by our vision insurance and price matched for a deeper discount. I ordered online and got my contacts within 5 days. Not to mention free shipping. Will definitely order again.

I purchased a pair glasses thinking it was polarized since it popped up in my search after I filtered polarized sunglasses only. Well, it is unfortunately NOT polarized. I initially purchased the only available color which is pretty but I wanted the signature color for the brand so I exchanged it (not knowing you only get ONE exchanger per order). Unfortunately for me, I had just assumed the glasses are polarized until I received the exchange and thought I should confirm they are polarized. Well, I found out it is not and I cannot exchange again. I cannot return them since I had used my vision benefit, which just ended, to pay for a little over half of the cost. Now, I'm stuck with this pair of nonpolarized sunglasses. Their product description really needs to be more specific to avoid confusions like this in the future. I am not happy that they were not willing to allow an additional exchange due to error of their poor product description and advertisement.

Like the other comments here, my experience has been very bad. I order contacts for my daughter the end of January after my vision insurance recommended these people. About two weeks later, I received an email that they were on backorder. When I called them in early March because we were going to pick me daughter up and bring her home due to COVID-19, they said they shipped them to her. When we picked her up a week later, no contacts. Now they are stringing is along saying UPS is doing a lost package evaluation and I鈥檇 they cannot find it in 8-10 days, I will have to reorder and do the entire process over again! DO NOT ORDER from these people unless you want your money tied up and your vision held hostage! They are unable to deliver at best and schisters at worst!

I wish I never ordered through Eyeconic. I usually use another service – 1800Contacts, which I have never had a problem with – however Eyeconic was the recommended in-network for my new insurance so I figured I would give them a try. I placed my order, which included an upload of my prescription from my doctor, and paid for next day shipping because I only had one pair of daily lenses left. Now, SEVEN DAYS later, they email me to tell me that half of my order is not available and back-ordered for two weeks. No communication yet on the other half of my order, a different brand of contacts. Are those in stock? If so, why weren't they shipped next day? Thank you Eyeconic for the complete lack of communication, charging $18 for next day shipping that never happened, and leaving me nice and blind over here while I wait for any sort of update on when I'll receive my contacts. If you're thinking about ordering from them, I would highly recommend NOT doing it and taking your business somewhere else. Unless you have weeks to wait around and extra money that you want to go to waste, of course.

Listen to the negative reviews!!!! Placed my order on 3/21 and received an email last night 3/27 stating that my frame color is no longer available. Unfortunately for me, this company has a hold on my benefits even though they don't have the product to sell me. Today, 3/28 I called and asked for them to change the frame on my order but I was told that I'd have to cancel my current order and place a new one with the frames that I want. Well even if I wanted to order from them again, I don't have any insurance benefits available. I was told it will take 3 business days to release the hold on my benefits, for me this translates to two weeks of wasted time trying to get my prescription glasses.

I recently ordered my first pair of glasses and they are great. I have horrible vision thanks to a detached retina in one eye and retinal tears in the other. My glasses were delivered in about 2 weeks and they were perfect. They got the glasses as thin as possible. They were thinner than any other store I have gone to in person. Rx is perfect and the lenses were placed perfectly so that even though my lenses are thick, the thickness is hidden by the frames I chose. I am amazed at how thin they were able to get my lenses. I will definitely be ordering from them again! Order was made simple with a link to eyeconic through my vsp vision insurance.

I purchased two sets of glasses from Eyeconic over the years. However, my most recent purchase resulted in frames that fell apart after 5 months of use, FlexOn. Upon contacting Eyeconic the very same morning, I was told to email pictures and other information to their warranty team. Although they sent me a pre-paid shipping label, the representative on the other hand truly could not care less about my concern. After about a five business day period between shipping, which I paid for packaging, Eyeconic receiving and unboxing, I received a condescending email stating the return time frame of 7-10 days. What is someone to do when your primary glasses are broken, you've ran out of contacts, and have to rely on an old pair that gives you splitting headaches??! Eyeconic really does not care about their products, customers, and service. The service I received, both in web chat and phone call forms, was terrible. More so, Eyeconic's policies are not customer-centric. I will say that ordering glasses, linking your insurance, and the customization options are awesome on Eyeconic. However, easier is not always best as I will seek a traditional retailer for my future glasses purchase. Luckily the warranty was honored, however, the sense of urgency, overall poor customer service, and a strong sense of condescension are the reasons why I will never purchase another pair of glasses again from this company.
