I ordered new single-vision polarized lenses for my sunglasses for distance, sent my frames in, more than a month later I received my glasses back with the wrong prescription in them, had the intermediate lens prescription in them. I do not intend to take my computer out in the sun and wear polarized sunglasses to look at it. Called and e-mailed, left messages to no avail. A decent human being would respond and try to correct the situation. These are not decent human beings – do not use this company.

The replacement lenses they sent were unusable. They must have mixed up my prescription with someone else. All my attempts to contact them (e-mail, phone) were fruitless.

THEY GOT MY FRAMES AND MY MONEY AND NEVER GOT BACK TO ME. I placed an order on May 6th 2019 Order# 2726. Paid $186.15 for lenses, mailed my frames (3 frames and quite expensive ones). They were supposed to put prescription frames in them and mail back. Never heard from them again.On 5th june I sent them my new prescription, just in case the one they had on file from 2017 was too old, THEY NEVER GOT BACK TO ME. sent 7 emails to costumer service, several calls and voice mail. Nothing. They kept my frames, my money and DISAPPEARED. Now I have to waste time to take further legal action. SO SAD. They do not even bother to call back to say what happened. REALLY SAD. NEVER CALLED BACK, NEVER ANSWERED ANY EMAIL. I want all my 3 frames back and full refund of lenses /shipping cost on my Amex card $186.15

Price was real good…..service was real bad (non existent ). Eyeglass people when creating my lenses placed my pupil in the exact middle of the progressive lens, which pushed the " Mid-vision " to the bottom of the lens. To see anything semi close ( guages in my car for example) i have to tilt my head as far back as i can go to view from the bottom edge of my lenses. The company will not respond in any way to assist in resolution. PS…Just used Lensabl without issue….DO NOT USE EYRGLASS PEOPLE

So I sent in my frames and days later receive them BUT they werent my frames. Couldnt get a hold of someone for DAYS then finally did sent them back and asked for my frames. 12 days later, I get an email saying they broke my frames. Five days after that and Im still trying to get a hold of them. HORRIBLE DONT DO IT

I tested the water with an old pair of frames I wouldn't mind losing, and a single-focus prescription for reading glasses, and paid by Pay-Pal rather than credit card in case it was a scam. This was before I had seen the negative reviews on this site. After a week went by and my account on their website still kept saying 'awaiting frames' I got suspicious and found these negative reviews, and figured it must be a scam and I would just have to start going through the motions of trying to contact the vendor before applying to get my $50 back from Paypal. This is because I live close to Syracuse and I know that the mail service takes only a day not a week.

So I called the CS number on the website on day 8, around 1 pm EST, expecting no answers ever, as described by these other negative reviews. But a woman answered on the first ring, and she asked for my name and order number, and she told me that my new lenses had already been installed and my glasses were going to ship the next day. Then I said, "so it was just that the website was wrong, when it said 'awaiting frames'?" And she said, "Yeah, sometimes I get behind on doing that". Then sure enough the frames with my new lenses installed arrived by UPS a couple of days later, with the old lenses returned as well. So the only reason to take off one star is for the website not being updated to show that they had received my frames and were starting to cut lenses for them.

So, bottom line, I think that probably this is a kind of small scale operation, since the same woman who answered the phone was also in charge of manually updating the website to record when frames arrive, and confessed to being behind on that. But it's certainly not an outright scam as some of the other reviewers say, since they did cut new single-focus lenses for my old frames following my new prescription, just as their website describes.

Placed order with credit card info, not knowing EyeGlassPeople in TX had gone belly up and was now resurrected in Syracuse, New York.

I paid for prepaid mailing (both ways) order indicated shipping label was attached, it was not.

This began two weeks of calls to their support line and support email. The phone was never answered even once – and I called throughout the day. The email was ignored as well.

After two weeks I replied to the order confirmation asking to cancel my order.

Today, 3.5 weeks after I get an automated email asking why they had not received my frames for the lens replacement. I attempted to reply and the email bounced back as the server and domain were inaccessible.

I called, and actually got a person. I canceled my order and then asked that all my information be removed from their systems, including my credit card information.

Here's what I got, "$#*! you, what part of your order has been canceled do you not understand!"

This company is a rip off. They sent back my glasses to the wrong address, and , aside from a verbal apology, offer no restitution for their error. They should be shut down. They do not stand behind their company at all, and i am out two pair of frames valued at over $500.00. Don't walk, but RUN from this company.
