Ok I can't drink it anymore since they went to fake sugar. Maybe they will switch to Stevie or something and ratchet down that chemical flavor

One star for adding Sucralose to all their products. It's not what it used to be and some are sensitive to sucralose. Go back to the original formula.

Best POP hands down! So many creative delish flavors, a true Michigan company! Grew up on Rock n rye, red pop and faygo orange! Great prices!

They use the artificial sweetener Sucralose in their regular beverages- for several years in fact. I know a lot of people who hate artificial sweeteners and they had no idea it was in their Faygo until I pointed it out to them They then dumped what was left in their can/bottle/glass.

Know what you are drinking.

People have been complaining for years and all Faygo has to say is, "Our glass bottle drinks are made with Cane Sugar, buy those".

Stop supporting Faygo until they take that garbage out of their "Regular" products. If sales drop enough, they'll learn.

The Detroit classic (along with Vernors, of course!), but I have found it in surprisingly wide-ranging places….like Denton, Texas (at the Atomic Candy shop on the town square) and Via 313 Detroit-Style Pizza in Austin.

It's fairly easy for me to find the root beer and Red Pop here in Chicagoland but Rock and Rye (my mom's favorite) is more elusive; gotta make a trip back to MI for that!

I don't always drink sodas, but when I do, it's usually a Faygo. Once in a while on a warm day, I'll gladly hit up a G-Station to wet my whistle with one of these fine Detroit sodas (sorry Michigan, pop is what Lamont Sanford calls his daddy, not what we should be calling soda – sorry, but I guess you can say I'm a soda jerk) lol. Any who, I digress.
Onto the sweet sweet sodas!

I am a fan. In a world that's so black or white, Democrat or Republican, and Coke or Pepsi, I break down the walls and shock the world by saying Faygo Cola. Boom!!! Bukkake!!!
Faygo Cola is so damn good. Pepsi tastes kinda vanilla-ey and Coke gives me the burps sometimes. Faygo Cola is just right!!! It's got a nice little aftertaste as well as huge bubbles that tickles your mouth as it pops with good flavor. During CHRISTmas time, the colas feature bottles with St. Nick and when you purchase one, a donation is made to a charity, I'd like to say St. Judes. Whichever charity it was, I think it's a great gesture.

Onto some of the other flavors
– Faygo Orange – It's a solid orange soda and not as sugary as Sunkist.
– Rock & Rye – My favorite Faygo flavor. Some say it's a mix between cola and cream soda, some say it's a vanilla/raspberry. Whatever this mystery flavor is, it's freaking delish!
– Red Pop – Besides being my slang term for hooking up with a ginger gal, Red Pop is a nice Strawberry Soda that I only purchase when I want to make Red Floats. Oh yeah – put a scoop or 3 of vanilla Iced Cream in a glass and pour some Red Pop over it and Ummm Ummm Ummm, you will be pleasured in the mouth.
– Cream Soda – It is the only cream soda I can tolerate, as well as my second favorite Faygo Flavor. Sorry Jones and A & W cream soda, but your cream soda doesn't hold a flame to the Faygo version.
– Grape Soda – I'm sure African American Icon Cleveland Brown can agree that Faygo makes a damn good grape soda – trust me, he is a subscriber to Grape Soda Magazine.
– Root Beer – surprisingly really good. It's not quite A&W good, but totally better than Barq's aka Barfs.
– Peach – it's peachy!!!
– Moon Mist – I am a fan. Show me a gal down with Moon Mist and I'll show you a gal with great taste – (what up gurlllll, I'm Scotty – nice to meet me!)
– Pineapple – More like "fine-apple"
– Ohana Punch – ehhhh, not a fan. Too much sugar for my liking. This applies to all of the juices of theirs I have tasted. Just not for me.
– Candy Apple – I am a fan
– Cotton Candy – Not big on this one, but lots of people I know are. Its a cult favorite.
– Tonic Water – mixes well with gin

My only wish is for Faygo to offer daily or weekly tours. They have a ton of fans who would love to step into those hallowed halls, myself included.

I am a Faygo Fan and you should Fay-Go out to the store and pick some up! (as well as an extra Rock and Rye for me – and some 'rillos too :D)

You know your from Metro Detroit when you reach for some of this sugary sweetness over Pepsi. It does take me back to when drinking a 3 liter for 89 cents was possible. Granted the prices has raised since then but it's still cheaper and it just feels like home.

I am
Not a huge pop drinker. But when I do a support local. You can't beat rock and rye, red pop, cream soda, and the prices. If I am out to eat and a place carries faygo… I get it every time.

Great soda, awesome, creative flavors, and it kills everyone on price. Good job Faygo. I have no idea why you're not appreciated in more States, but we certainly love you here in the mid-west!

Juggalo favored or not, it is a dang fine soda pop. They sold it at a fried chicken place I used to go to in Seattle, and it was great. So many flavor options, and very affordable.

I do not drink pop, soda, whatever you want to call it. The carbonation bugs me, the sugar is overkill and the artificial colorings..are artificial. 'Diet' is not an option as it tastes horrific, and that asspartame (yes, I did that on purpose) shit will kill you. I am a water loving kinda person, and a fussy one at that.

So why do I give Faygo a 5 star review? Simple. Sentimental value. Not so much on my part, as nobody in Europe has ever even heard of Faygo, but on my husbands part. He loves this stuff. Redpop is his ultimate favorite, Rock n Rye a close second. On my part, the brand reminds me of a Surinamese childhood favorite, 'Fernandes'.

In a totally orchestrated twist of fate, Faygo is now one of our customers. Props to them for supporting Michigan businesses, and yay for my man's love and affair with Faygo coming full-circle.

Over the years I have started to (sortof) like Faygo redpop, but as I am not a pop drinker I have not really ventured out into the other oomptieth flavors they carry. I do like their flavored, unsweetened LaCroix sparkling waters, thy are not too terrible.

No matter the flavor, it burns the back of your throat. But I grew up on this stuff, for 70 cents, I could buy a 20.oz bottle of Faygo and 25 cent bag of Better Made Chips. Those were the good old days, Faygo is just as good now, as it was then. I probably don't drink it as much as I should, but every time I do, I'm taken back to a more simple time. Wither it be Rock N Rye, Moon Mist, or just Orange. Faygo will always be apart of my life.

Red Pop is my favourite drink. I'm currently on a diet and can't drink it. Thank the gods fr DIET red pop. Too bad I can't get the diet stuff here in Canada, but it's worth the trip to the states to stock up.

I have been seeing Faygo lot of places on the east coast lately, which reminds me of what a soft spot I have for this pop. It is epitome of the term liquid candy. The brightly colored drinks that resemble candy, no food coloring spared here. In this color pallet red is my favorite color, both the Red pop and the Rock and Rye will always be my favorites.

The Plant does not offer Tours and is closed to the Public, but there is a Liquor Store next door that you can get most of the major flavors for cheap.

Faygo Cola – I don't know what it is, but Faygo Cola is easier on my stomach and tastes better than the top two national brands.

What a variety to choose from! Over 50 flavors. Their diet offerings are excellent and do not taste 'diet'. Go to their website for a complete listing, or go to any store in southeast Michigan to taste it. Faygo can be found all through the Midwest US.

They no longer list one of my all-time favorites … UpTown. Who can forget the old Faygo commercials from the 50's, 60's and 70's with Black Bart and the Faygo Kid? "Which way did he go, which way did he go?" "He went for Faygo!" Go to their webside, click on 'media', or visit Youtube for some of the old commercials, including shots of the Boblo Boats in some of them.

FAYGO REDPOP!!!

I've yet to taste a strawberry pop better than this. On a hot Michigan summer a Redpop is the best way too cool off… well if you don't have access to a/c, fans, & cold water :-p Try it in a can. i think they taste the best.

Pairings:

If you like/love floats then you can go wrong with a scoop of your favorite vanilla ice cream.

Another good pairing with Redpop is fried chicken. I prefer Popeye's spicy chicken but any would do.

My last fav. pairing is rum. Whole can with a shot of rum and ice is very nice when you're kicking back and relaxing.

Anyone who doesn't like Faygo is probably a terrorist and should be shot with bullets, fire, or a potato gun, immediately.

Rock & Rye for president 2012!
