I purchased $94.77 worth of Cosmetics from Fenty in March of 2019. I had it about 3 weeks, and it just did not work for me. In the between time I closed my bank account, which I completely forgot that I did. I made rage decision to send the cosmetics back. No problem, I went online printed rage return label. I realized that the account was closed. I contacted them to advised the the account was closed. I was told that the refund would have to returned to the original form of payment, they do not return any other way. I needed to call my bank and have to send a check to me. I reminded the customer service person the account was closed and there is no way a refund could go to a closed account. I reached out to my bank and asked what would happen. I was told what I already knew. I called a Fenty back, I spoke to numerous people how all told me the same thing. There was nothing they could do. The refund was processed and it was not up to them anymore. Call my bank. Then another person told me she needed to have the whole debit card number. I asked her why would she need it, the account is closed. I told her I could not provide something I did not have, I closed the account. I was told point blank, there was nothing that could be done by law they had to refund to the original form of payment, there was no other options. They sent the refunds to the bank and they could not reject it. That was it they could not help me.
