I sent an e-mail on Sunday, didn鈥檛 get a response yet.

I have done a tour last weekend (mushroom tour) and I would like to give some feedback as I am not quite satisfied.
The guide was too late, which is fine, his car didnt start and he apologized for it.
We started and he explained that in private forests you are allowed to take one cap full of mushrooms, in state forests like the one we were in, we were allowed to take all we needed for personal use.
Then we started to walk. We were allowed to ask questions.
We just needed to stay close-ish to the guide.

I expected it to be a little different. Since it shows up in the 鈥渃ourses鈥? I expected to get an explanation of what kinds of edible mushrooms there were probably to find there and get some examples.
Now we just picked them randomly and had to show afterwards what we got. My whole contents of my basked got thrown out. I don't think this was needed if we got a proper explanation up front. Such a shame to pick to many mushrooms unneeded.
So I think it would have been better if we really got a proper introduction to edible mushrooms and THEN go out to find them!
It would also have been nice if we had an explanation of where the best places were to look for them.

Now we just walked around, grabbing anything that looked like a mushroom.

Then, I was able to take the BUS at 12:11h. The tour should have ended at 12:30, but it was done at 12!
So, we really didn't get what we paid for.
The walk was nice, but I could have done that for free…
And none of my mushrooms were edible, I think with the right explanation, that could have been different.

Such a shame. Makes me wonder about other FOF tours and courses.

I would like to add one more thing:
The description mentioned a folder that we would get.
We didnt receive that either…
Really, what did we pay the 150kr for?
