Amazing fitting of the suit I got tailor made from their website. Although the price was a bit to high, I'd say that it is totally worth it because of the great quality of the suit. The material is pretty amazing, was so comfortable wearing this all day long. Would definetely get my next suit from them

I've shopped at Frank and Oak for the past year+, and I think I have a good understanding of their model. It's expensive, and that's because it's relatively high quality clothing. I do think their claims about sustainability are slightly misleading… a large amount of their products are made with 50%+ plastic, though I have found some high quality cotton and hemp items I enjoy. Additionally, even if there is polyester, if the item will last your lifetime, that can be better in some cases (though I minimize as much as I can!).

Here's the short of it:
Styles : 4/5 average
Value: 3.5/5 average
Customer service: 3/5
Quality: 4/5

Styles:
3.5 stars for women; 4.5 stars for men.
I've grown incredibly weary of the women's styles. I love classics, but introducing a new line of tshirts every couple months as the newest "in" is growing old. Women need more than t-shirts… additionally, each new cut of pants is either way too trendy (sustainability is about being able to wear something for more than one season) or incredibly similar to something they've had for awhile. I love the staples I really do, and I highly recommend their women's "business" trousers, but nothing else has really caught my eye lately. When it comes to my box each month… my suggestions are: a tank I've been suggested multiple times, a class tee in a new color (their tees are great, but I don't need more), a random weird cut of jeans, and a boring sweater made of poly-cotton blend, and maybe a pair of shoes that's more than they're worth. Meanwhile, on the men's side they have consistently rotating button downs (with at least 10 color options at any time), 5 new jackets, polos, new fabrics, chinos, slacks, jeans, lined jeans… I mean it goes on and on. The men's stuff is killer… the women's stuff just sucks, so much so that I'm getting close to giving up hope on the women's line which is so incredibly sad to me since I like the brand.

Value:
Women's = 3/5 ; men's = 4/5
The women's stuff is just a bit too trendy to wear for more than a season in many cases. The classics are great though, and are made of solid construction with a good weight to them. Their women's blouses are a bit thin so I've stayed away from those, but everything else has been durable. The prices are comparable to other high quality brands for that reason. I'd say 4/5 for women except they just can't nail down consistent styles or selection. Men's quality is decent and the price is pretty nice for what you're getting. Solid construction and fabric quality for both. A big mark down on the store as a whole… they sell these clothes for the same dollar value in Canadian as American. You can literally see it on the tag. In case you don't know, $1 CAD = $0.75 USD… So the USD price should be 25% off the CAD price plus whatever taxes; which due to NAFTA are DEFINITELY not equivalent to that 25%. Additionally, every time I pay, in USD, I'm charged a foreign currency fee which means the company is taking the USD price, translating the inflated price back into CAD, charging in CAD, and which charges me a conversion fee. Basically, I end up paying a minimum of 30% more than I would in Canada. Occasionally I go up to Vancouver BC to check out their store because it's like a super sale.

Customer Service: 3/5
It can take awhile to get a refund issued. I'm sure COVID has also worsened the situation but I've had to pester them multiple times. 100% do not forget you're waiting on a refund and bother them if it's been more than a month. Also, you only have a week from when you receive your box to when you need to send it back if you want a refund so mind the calendar and don't let it sit around. And yes, you will get charged outright for anything shipped to you, and it can be a chunk of change so be ready for that. As a note, the "stylists" do not pick things out for you and I'm not convinced they even exist at this point. My points are never taken into account neither are my requests… the style plan is just not worth it and they've implemented that business model in a poor way… they're using it to generate intrigue and don't provide what that model usually entails.

I've been happy with the things I've decided to hold on to and might continue to keep an eye on Frank and Oak's women's line… I just keep seeing it go further downhill and unless they step in and invest time, money, and effort into it, I don't see it improving, but that's just my two cents.
Overall, for women, 3 out of 5 stars.

Saw their page on a blog about suits and after scrolling on their website for a couple of minutes, I thought of purchasing the Transit Laurier Packable Blazer which was in black color for an event I have to attend at my workplace. They blazer was shipped very soon to my apartment and it was just as described in the website and looked extremely similar to the image on the website. I like it very much.

I have ordered multiple times with them, returning products and being refund properly. From my experience the customer service was always efficient and friendly. I highly recommend it.

Overall a quite decent option for clothing. I did not subscribe to their box, only bought an ensemble, top and pants (on sale).
Clothes are not cheap but they are B-corporation certified, this has a cost. They have a lot of timeless basics which can be limiting for some people but I find it quite easy to find what I like. I think it is still a better option than all the fast fashion brands though.

One thing I need to mention is that all the clothes I bought from them so far are made in China. But their website mentions that they have a factory in China so they are not really hiding anything on that. Also, not all of their clothes are fully sustainable, if that's what you are looking for, you need to go to their "Minimal" section.

Frank and Oat can definitely do better on their ethical purpose but it's a good start and I may buy again if they improve their sustainable section.

The fabrics used for the suit I got from them is darn good which is why this is my go-to place to get a great suit. The material is extremely soft and very comfortable. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for a greatly fitting suiting.

I would give zero stars but it鈥檚 not an option. My daughter placed an order in January. She received the order, but didn鈥檛 understand it was a subscription service. She canceled the subscription and decided to return the order according to the company鈥檚 own policies. She tried to call them to let them know she had canceled the bank account attached to the order, but of course they are a company that doesn鈥檛 believe in person to person customer service, so you have to contact them through social media. In our case Twitter. Once contacted they were very rude and stated we could only get a store credit. After explaining to them we no longer had any interest in shopping with them, they stated that they would only send the money back to her canceled account. I of course asked if they could just mail a check after receiving all items back with the tags still on them, and they insisted the only option was to return the money to a canceled account instead. Currently in the bank for the fourth time since this started. Still don鈥檛 have a refund and will be at least two months since we returned the item until we get one. Good luck if you choose this company.

I was excited to try this website but they don't offer plus size options. And plus size clothing subscriptions offer clothing that is too large for me.

Dirty glasses. Lipstick on one. Chipped and dirty no 2. And the third dirty marks on. Cold soup for starters. Vegan burger uncooked. Other starters warm. Very poor hygiene. This is not acceptable and will be reported. The Sunderland restaurant is below Frankie and Bennies standard.

Used to love this site, but two consecutive returns that I had to follow up with customer service after months in order to receive my refund has really tarnished it in my opinion. Great clothes, but $#*!ty customer service is ruining my experience.
