Always polite and seemingly helpful on the phone but completely failed to deliver my washing machine after excuse after excuse, then failed to give me a refund after more excuses. In the end I passed the whole sorry saga on to my credit card company who refunded me after I provided them with a fist full of emails recording my exchanges with this dreadful company over several months. How these charlatans are allowed to continue trading is beyond me ! I paid more with John Lewis but had the machine up and running inside a week.

I cannot stress enough AVOID!! First they lied and said I had cancelled my order when it didn't turn up and since then (20th Mar) I have been trying to get our money back. They either ignore messages (is no phone) or say the refund is happening but it鈥檚 not.

They dont seem to get that taking money for goods and services not provided is theft.

I have no idea how these people are still in business but they shouldn't be! Minus10 stars needs to be a thing just for this 鈥榗ompany鈥?

Update – I have my money back after my credit card provider investigated and its now with trading standards.

Unfortunately my story is the same as all the above. Ordered and paid for a washing machine to be told on 4 occasions it wasn't coming due to various reasons. And then to be told I had cancelled the order. Still waiting for money back from 10/2/18.
I ordered a washing machine from AO it came the next day with no issues.
Can't believe like so many others we have been conned…..

As with others I ordered a Bosch Dishwasher. Two non-deliveries and then told the van broke down. Cancelled order then tried to recover the money. Twice said it was put in my account even quoting a bogus transaction number. After threatening the police I eventually recovered the money via my credit card company.

I have reviewed this company before, having recieved no machine and them then claiming I cancelled the order – which is a lie. They finally said they had processed my refund and copied and pasted a SagePay transaction number when I repeatedly requested proof. I waited 3-5 days as advised and nothing, credit card company say there is no such transaction pending. Having spoken to SP I found the transaction code was not valid, I have since been given a new number and so will chevk with SP.

I have outlined to Friidge the steps I will take if the promises made (that it has now been processed). In the spirit of goodwill I have amended this review – knowing it can always be changed if money (and compensation) doesn't appear of course 🙂

So I dont know perhaps lots of people get their products and good service from the off but sadly I have had to go to extraordinary lengths to get my money back.

I am fuming that they have the nerve to create a review system where you actually have to give one star, I give them -5 stars. Absolute scum bags

I paid for the fridge 拢300
Then took the day off work unpaid and waited around all day only to receive an email saying I had cancelled the order!!!! Of course because I love wasting my own time.

They said I鈥檇 receive a refund in 3-5 working days!!!! Never arrived in my bank.

They won鈥檛 respond to any of my emails so I guess that鈥檚 that!!!!

Filthy crooks.

Had a faulty washing machine delivered in December and I am still waiting for them to collect and refund me.
Constantly fob you off. I have been emailing them for months and seem to be getting nowhere. Theres no contact number to speak to anyone either!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please please do not think you might be saving a few quid. You will actually end up losing hundreds!!!!!

This company is a joke.

I ordered and paid 拢649 for my washing machine on the 3 March. Promised delivery on the 9 March to then be told there had been a delay and I would receive compensation. No delivery and no compensation, I was then told my order had been cancelled and it could be reinstated with a delivery date of 21 March 2018.

Today I have received an email stating I have cancelled my order which I have not. If only it were true that I will receive my refund in the next 3-5 days – as I doubt it very much!

This company does not have a telephone number and choose when to reply to emails.

I have now contracted Trading Standards and my bank under section 75 of the consumer credit act and also my bank and have also emailed Watchdog at the BBC.

Please avoid at all costs as my mistake was costly

UPDATE: I am still to receive my refund which Friidge says they initiated on the 16 March 2018 even though the day before they had emailed me to say my delivery would be the 21 March! My bank has no record of a pending refund and Friidge are now not responding to my emails again. when all I want is my 拢649 I paid back. Rory David Palin created this company because he had previously suffered bad experiences with purchasing white goods… oh the irony!

Update – 29/03/18 – still no refund. Picking and choosing which emails they respond to however today I have spoken with trading standards who are going to contact Rory Palin shortly. Funny how they鈥檝e closed down their Facebook page today aswell, probably to disguise the other hundreds of poor reviews and probably because I copied them into the BBC watchdog page.

Ordered a washing machine, given a date for delivery which was subsequently cancelled the night before due to it not being in stock – new delivery date given of a week later. The evening before this delivery date it was cancelled again, this time a discount was offered for the inconvenience and a new date given for a week later again, or the option of a full refund which would take ten days. We opted to wait another week, this time the evening before we were allocated a time slot for delivery, between 8am-12pm. At 11am on the day we received an email stating that the delivery vehicle had been involved in a serious accident on its way to us and our order would need to be rescheduled for another weeks time. This time we opted for a full refund, this took several emails for someone to contact us, I explained how disappointing this was as we had been waiting almost a month for this delivery and had wasted 3 days off work due to the cancellations, we were then offered compensation to the sum of 拢150 as a good will gesture. We did receive the refund, however, when we received the compensation in the form of a cheque it bounced, after another several emails they said they would pay this compensation through bank transfer within a matter of days, we are yet to receive this.
I have searched the internet for a telephone number and I have been unable to find one, I have also requested a phone call each time I have sent an email and I am again yet to receive one. If they reply to an email they do not give you a name of who is dealing with it. All in all they are a terrible company and I would never recommend them.

3 failed delivery鈥檚,
On the third occasion the excuse used was the vechile had been in a serious accident, this seems to be a common excuse used by this company. Find this awful when I told them to prove this as I thought they were lying I was offered 拢150 compensation this was over a month ago. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Compensation cheque arrived and then bounced??? don鈥檛 know how this was possible as they seem to have everybody else鈥檚 money sat in their account.

Great customer service. Even though delivery was delayed due to supply issues out of their control I was kept updated by email and when my washing machine was delivered the delivery guys couldn鈥檛 have been more helpful and polite.

Same as the majority of others on here. Multiple failed deliveries, empty promises of discounts, shocking communication and still no refund 2 weeks on. Off to my card company to report it.

Don't touch these cowboys with a barge pole.

They postponed my dishwasher delivery by a week at the last minute, insisting they鈥檇 give me a discount as a means of apology. Once the second delivery never happened, I realised that there was not going to be any means of contacting them by phone, only email. They then cancelled my order (presumably because they didn鈥檛 want to stand by their proposed discount promise). I asked for the order to be honoured so a 3rd delivery date was planned.. Once again, no delivery. After complaining a third time I received no response whatsoever. I now need to contact my card issuer because Friidge still haven鈥檛 refunded me (almost 拢400). Steer well away from these cowboys!!

bought a dishwasher in the sale great on 19th Jan……

1 stock was not available then delivery rescheduled for following tuesday
2 following tuesday no stock still so offered following saturday i replied 'great please do'
3 had no confirmation so messaged them friday before, they said did not get my email to say i wanted delivery! i cut and pasted it back in total anger….. compensation promised but thats probably bullsht anyway still nothing
4 following tuesday was arranged for delivery contacted in morning vehicle involved in accident and no delivery cancelled, following tuesday arranged once more i am totally fkd off by this point but want this bloody dishwasher and repeatedly offered refunds but i couldnt wait for next excuse this was the worst online experience in my 20 yrs of online shopping and i told them that
5 another tuesday arrives once more 20th Feb!! my wife thinks im a dik but i have to see this through i have got this far,stress, let down ,drama ,nearly hospitalised,get a timeslot 11 to 4 get a call at 2pm" eh mate we are still in thetford wont be with you till 7.30!!!you ok with that??" i said YES JUST GET THE BLINKING THING DELIVERED I AM HERE…. it arrived the 2 lads were polite and very knackered, i felt very relieved and kept looking at in in disbelief, everyone didnt think it would arrive EVER either!!!
Customer service messages were actually responsive,but wheres my compensation its well deserved, pay it and i may add a review star, ill add it sometime next week or maybe the following week, youre used to this set up eh…..
March 22nd still no compensation lying bunch of twts…….

Failed delivery in February and no refund issued, dispute is with my credit card company, can only assume that this place has dropped off the planet, poor management and many failed orders judging by previous posters with same issues.

F.A.O Rory David Palin Re Complaint

I am still waiting for my refund since the 19th Feb 2018. I have been told numeras times by your poor customer service team that accounts are doing all they can and the money should be in by Monday. Well 2 mondays and nearly a month have past and still waiting. I am also now being ignored and know one is responding to my emails or msges. Absolute disgrace to call your self a company when this is happening to a lot of people. I want my refund that you stole from me!

I ordered a dishwasher with the understanding that it was in stock, and would be delivered within 7 days. I paid an additional 拢10 charge for a specific delivery slot. On the first delivery date they cancelled the delivery, due to the product being out of stock. I was informed that it would be delivered the following week. I accepted this and on the second attempt of delivery, it was cancelled once again. At this point I was offered a 10% discount and free installation; with a promise that the product would be delivered the following week (3 weeks after original delivery slot). On the morning of the delivery it was cancelled again. This time due to problems with the delivery transport. At this point I decided to cancel the order altogether with the understanding that I would receive a full refund in 5-7 working days. I was offered a 拢20 Amazon Card compensation. This was 3 weeks ago and to date I have still not received a refund. Consequently, I am pursuing legal action, as not only do I feel disappointed by the continual let down regarding delivery, but also the fact that customer service clearly is non existent. Now they don't answer my emails

After trying contact them 5 times and not getting any answers I have filed a complaint with the police for fraud. I have also contacted citizen adviser, a news paper and BBC watchdog. I will also taking the case to the small complaint court. I am not sure if I will recover my money but I am prepare to do anything to make as many people aware about this company.
As other people said if they paid me back I will post it here. I can't understand how they can take money from people and get away with it.

Don't use this company. I've been waiting now 2 weeks for my refund and still nothing. I cancelled my order due to 2cancelled deliveries by Friidge.com. they promised me 拢50 compensation and refund within 3-5 working days and still waiting for it! They even stopped responding to my emails.

Regardless of the company' resoonse below – money has still not being refunded to me

Having the same problems as others on here. I too have been awaiting a 4th delivery today and nothing has arrived. 1st, 2nd and 3rd deliveries all cancelled at short notice for various reasons, supplier error, vehicle breakdown, then snow. Each time promised money off and 拢50 compensation, to keep me hooked and not cancel my order presumably. No contact from them at all today and no way of contacting them as no phone number. Very poor customer service, making me shocked and angry. Will be requesting refund and if not received will be reporting to trading standards as others have suggested. Feel I have been completely conned.

With ref to my previous complaint it seems many other unhappy customers are coming forward. You said to have processed a refund for my elderly parents and a 拢50 cheque is in its way!!!! You seem to say these very words to many others!! I will give it to Monday and then I鈥檒l be contacting watchdog!!! Mr and Mrs Barnes. The Bosch washing machine!!!! That was ordered 4 Feb!!!! I really hope you have not fobbed them off as I am on the case for them now and I won鈥檛 rest til you have refunded

Initially I thought not bad service, when my first delivery was cancelled in advance due to problems with the supply – I was immediately offered a full refund or 拢50 compensation and a new delivery date.

I decided to go with a new delivery date and accept the compensation – the second delivery was postponed due to snow, which I could fully understand.
Sadly the third delivery never arrived, I did not receive a phone call to tell me it was cancelled or even an email, and after chasing via email have still not received an update or full refund, so not only am I left out of pocked 拢399 – I also wasted my time for two days waiting for delivery and being self employed time is also money.

There seems no other way to make contact as no phone numbers listed for this company either – be aware

I think this might be a small business which is just unable to cope and letting customers down which is a real shame – this is a rather angry customer

They have changed their name/website to friidge.com but they are the same cowboys, just look through their Facebook posts (FriidgeUK) all links the provide in 2016 are for friige.com.
My order was accepted in the middle of January 2018 but was cancelled today, on what would have been the fourth failed delivery. First failure (day before delivery) they blamed their supplier, second delivery failure on the day of expected delivery they blame vehicle break down, but to keep me hooked they offered a 10% discount. Third missed delivery they actually took the blame and said there was an administrative error, rebooked delivery with a 20% discount. I replied to that email within 30 minutes accepting their offer. Today, on the day they were supposed to deliver for the fourth time, they sent an email stating they were cancelling my order. Nice.

Note that there is not one single phone number on their website, any correspondence is by email only. Email, the most personal of ways to contact customers.

Well here we go, a company that you can only contact via email stating that they did not receive the email (but they did receive all the others). I work in IT, I'd know if an email never left my computer or was rejected. In this case I replied to their email within 30 minutes of them sending it.
