Frostwire is a p2p sharing site. This might be potentially illegal. For some reason, while I was browsing one site, I was redirected to a Frostwire download page. I closed the tab, thinking I had evaded the virus. However, Malwarebytes found it lurking in my registry. Stay away.

FrostWire is essentially a continuation of LimeWire. It is a P2P program, which, technically, by itself, is legal. However, there are many users who do illegal things using FrostWire, making it extremely unsuitable for children, as they may violate the DMCA.

This is a very good P2P App.

Don't use this for illegal downloads so keep childs AWAY from this site or else they may be in jail for illegal actions.

This is free by the way. Any one who paid for this needs to do something about the owner of the fake site.

This has some Open Candy installations, but there are all safe like the Comodo Dragon browser.

It is a good site, but the program they offer has flaws, there are a lot of disguised junk files, a lot of viruses and scam advertisement, you better have good antivirus software if you want to use it frequently.

It's just Limewire, operating under a new name.

Much of these Peer to peer (P2P) media sharing websites are hosts to illegal and usually dangerous downloads. Not only is this against the law in many aspects, the downloads may be disguised as trojan horses, keyloggers, trackware and other malicious software. Donwloading any media file from this website puts you and your computer at risk. Browse with caution.

Frostwire is a very useful P2P program and an excellent alternative to Limewire. I recommend you use it if you are going to use a P2P program, but here is the thing with P2P Programs:
Almost all P2P Programs, if not all P2P programs, contain adult content. Depending on the P2P program you are using, you might have to search for the content to see it. But with some P2P programs, the servers and downloads can include viruses and adult content that is definitely NOT suitable for children. Be careful what you download, and stay away from adult content, please, that's all I'm asking you to do!

The site is indeed safe, but you must be careful not to install the additional software when you are installing the program.

Frostwire, a better version of Limewire. That is all I can see. I have used Limewire many years and in the end I just loved Frostwire..

Frostwire just opens your PC to many viruses and spyware.used it last night,this morning my PC crashed.they ought to be put out of business.any "technician" or "expert" that would recommend this program to anyone is a joke,maybe it will happen to so many users that a class action lawsuit will be filed and the expense of replacing my computer will be covered,not likely but just a thought,beware frostwire and limewire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The information is sold as a data stream in which Frostwire authors earn $1 per install of Ask Toolbar and $0.35 per report made to Ask.com whether the toolbar was installed or not.

Frostwire is a P2P Sharing Application based off of the coding of Limewire Pro. The application and site are safe.

Safety of shared files you find on the P2P network depends on the files themselves.

Contrary to what many others believe, Frostwire and Limewire and other P2P apps are fully legal. The illegal part of it is sharing and downloading copyrighted material. Be careful of what you download!

The website is fine and does not distribute any viruses, Just be careful what you download. By the way the program is not illegal it's only illegal if you're downloading copyrighted material.

if you are using FrostWire, you can fined child porn and rape and a loot of either violent and illegal stuff as music movies and a loot of crap.

well the website itself is safe but the program is one of the top 1000 of major causes of viruses,trojons, malware… it is limewire but faster i recommend a very good virus protection when using this product…….

very buggy with regard to frostwire running java(necessary) & win xp sp.2 and sp.3 is also related to known ieframe.dll bug.
