I ordered a pair of Weejuns shoes via the internet and was sent the wrong model. Repeated e-mails, call with customer care agents and chats led to nothing more than being told their management was considering the issue. Never heard back – the endless stonewalling was clearly nothing more than an exercise in avoiding having to deal with the matter. At the same time I had to return some online shoes to UnderArmour – what a contrast: excellent customer care and attention, with a new pair sent out right away. So moral of the story is that you are rolling the dice with GH Bass and if you get the wrong shoes they do all they can to make it your problem. Extraordinary that a company would create a customer service experience designed to have it lose customers. Robert Y.

Perfect fit. These are beautiful shoes. Very comfortable and stylish. They have so many cute dressier styles to choose from. Ordered my size despite reviews that suggest sizing down. I wear cozy wool socks in the cooler months so that could be a factor. I also have the Penny Loafers in the same colors. Those I sized down 1/2. I wear these in warmer weather usually without socks or lighter socks but I wish I had gotten my size.

item paid for, never received. phoned representatives to complain & told item sent to post office. post office has no record. now I have to fill out e-mail form they sent me & send back. representative still cannot explain why item was not sent directly to my home! I deal with Macys, Levis & cole hahn & never had an issue. gh bass your customer service stinks. representatives are poorly trained & confused. all of this agravation for a $25 order.

We went to Bass on vacation and my wife had a dozen or so items and is a great Bass fan- but the lady working today was rude in every possible way. The worst customer service period!! They lost a purchase and a costumer. Thanks Debbie

Bought a belt here lasted 90 days!
I don't weigh 400 lbs just a normal guy. They told me in Clinton CT it was normal wear and tear. Refused to do anything.

Every order I have placed for shoes at G H Bass online was cancelled. The first three times they did not even send an email, they just let me wait. This past week I ordered again. The shoes were in sale in the store and I had an additional 25% offer. They cancelled my order. So it looks like this may be a corporate strategy.

So I understand, your exchange policy is 1. Return the product we sent in error 2. You will get a refund eventually 4. We will charge you for returning the item 5. Reorder your original order 6. We may $&& it up again in which case 7. Repeat all previous steps. Ridiculous.

This is why Amazon succeeds. Customer service.

We have a store about 90 minutes away, but decided to order online and save ourselves the trip. After placing our order, we read the horrible reviews here and were afraid we'd made a mistake. Fortunately, our experience was stellar. Our order was filled accurately and delivered in a very timely manner, exactly as promised. Couldn't be happier and will definitely order online from GH Bass & Co. again.

I ordered 3 pair of shoes online. First pair got with no problem. Second pair came and I ordered an 11 and they shipped an 8. Called customer service and he advised me to return them but I had to process a second order and be charged AGAIN when this was their fault and not mine. Third pair I had paid 3 day expedited shipping on and I still haven't received them!! Beyond disgusted. Love the shoes but will never shop here again with the poor customer service.

Bought large suitcase and leather back pack for trip to Europe. Wheels broke on first flight, back pack zipper broke. Bass say unless they are resaleable, no credit, no store credit.

Ask manager how they do not stand behind defective product, got the corporate line, that's policy. Well they take their policy and stick, never darken their doors again.

Cheap products for a cheap company.

Promised to be here in 5-7 business days and still haven't shipped. I've called and it sends me to India where they aren't helpful at all. No wonder their stores are going under.

I wanted to return items that I ordered online. The clerks said that online purchases cannot be returned in the store. WHAT? After an hour round trip back home, I called the 1-800 number and they told me that Leesburg Bass was wrong. Instead of driving again, I paid the 6 dollar shipping charge. Three weeks later, I still haven't received a refund. I will Never shop at this store again. While I love the items, it's not worth the poor customer experience.

I ordered an item on 12/10 received confirmation and all. Guaranteed shipping within 7 days, 20 days later no item. I gave additional time due to the holidays. When I called, the rep informed me their system had a glitch and all PayPal orders weren't processed. No email, no call, no smoke signal….POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. When I asked about an express shipping code to rectify the issue I was told "wasn't their problem" "he didn't have the authority" "supervisors are extremely busy" "a call back could take up to 48 hours". BUYER BEWARE, poor customer service and no communications regarding systematic errors is unacceptable.

We ordered a jacket last week and paid for the expedited shipping. The item still had not ship but finally shipped today. We were supposed to receive the item by the 24th but upon checking FedEx it showed delivery on the 26th. Thus was a Christmas gift. On thier website it guaranteed delivery by the 24th. This was not the case we called them. The agent could not resolve the issue and said we would have to wait for thier email. So I guess the expedited service does not guarantee anything but they will get you by lying to you.

Should have heeded warnings from other reviews about shipping and customer service . . .
Ordered shoes online, and after checking site 4 days later (hoping to find a tracking number), discovered that shoes still had not shipped! Called customer service to find out why, and when item would finally ship- learned that it could be 2-3 more days . . .
Was also informed that if shoes were returned due to late arrival (son needs for event), that I would incur a RESTOCKING FEE !!! In fact, the service rep informed me that ANY RETURN would be charged the restocking fee – Who was the brainchild behind this policy? No matter how much we like the product, we will not order from this company ever again.

Went to the store hoping to find shoes. I did, but could only be ordered online. The manager put in my info. Didnt confirm my address with me until AFTER he placed the order. Granted it was 10 mins to closing. No one was rushing him. I called that same night to have the issue fixed. It was monday that this all happened. The customer service lady said she put a note in my file and that it will be handled. Several days later later, and I Went to the store today (Saturday 11/24)and purchased a jacket. Some reason they couldn't pull up my information! My email wasn't working, BUT I was receiving their stuff. She tried 6
Times, nothing. The same gentleman that helped that week asked me about my shoes. I Said still isn't here, and that I called to correct EVERYTHING. I'm not normally such a rude person. I've worked retail. It takes seconds to review the customers information!! Called about my shoes tonight after all that took place ,and guess what. My shoes are being shipped to the INCORRECT address when they had DAYS to HANDLE this problem! As a first Time customer I'm beyond frustrated as you may already know! Will not purchase from here again. The only thing they offered was free shipping. No thanks

I have tried to reach out to the GH Bass customer service for two weeks via email & 1.800 number and have not received an acknowledgement of any sort.
Most customer service email at least send a robo response that they received the customer's email

When I like something – I like it. G.H. Bass Canvas pants and several of their shirts and fleeces are among my favorites BUT the company is Doomed. They are taking SEARS and just copying their play book, riding all the way down the rabbit hole. Only a matter of time.
When your Customers Reward you with their $$ – You Do NOT show your gratitude by getting their order to them in 3 WEEKS when it was "In Stock". You are Begging to go out of business. Then the Customer makes several attempts to call and complain giving you the opportunity to make a positive out of a negative and you double down?
Why not just shutter your operation now and save all the drama? Tone deafness is no way to treat customers. WTH is wrong with G.H. Bass?
FIX your Company before it is too late. SEARS is Gone, ever heard of ZAPPOS or JET or CHEWY? They "Get it" You Do Not.
I doubt I will hear from you. I sat on hold this morning for 20 minutes and that was attempt #3 as in strikes. You're Out.

Bought a blouse at tanger outlet Bass in Deer Park NY. After following wash instructions the blouse shrank. Brought back to store compared it to same size blouse in store and proved it shrank. Manager said they could do nothing for me because the item was washed. So basically if I never washed the blouse it would be fine. Totally absurd!!! She wasn't even nice, so even though I've shopped at Bass many years they lost a customer. I even called customer service and they did not help.

They must use the cheapest Fed Ex out there. I ordered on a Wed.. and will not receive for 2 weeks even though it has shipped and it was in stock. Never again.. very poor cust service agent ..just said so sorry. A trip from GA to Florida should not take 2 weeks with Fed EX

Do NOT buy directly from GH Bass! If you need to make a return, they will not help you in any way possible! I have dealt many online companies and have never been treated this poorly. Do not believe them when they say they will call you back.
