my husband received a phone call stating he is eligible for a government grant due to him applying. up to 5,000 and can be used for personal or business use. They have been calling non stop for days now. He wanted me to research because they wanted us to pay 3.25$ for the credit protection avoiding fraud for the check. First off ive never seen credit protection program on a check that was a grant because to change a check you need identification. Secondly why would you ask for my bank account info. I started researching and realized this site is a fraud. They didn't want to send us an email confirming the info or anything. They call from so many different area codes its ridiculous. BEWARE!

I was looking for grants for school, and when these people called me they informed me that I was approved for a $5000 Government Grant and all I need to do was send them $190 to verify that it was me. I informed them that I didn't have a bank account, they said that that was fine they could do it through Western Union and all I had to do was send them the money then they would reimburse the $190 and send me the $5000 Government Grant. When I told them I could do that they had me call a different person, a Alex Hopkins who was their "Account Manager" and when I called him to get the name to send it to he wouldn't give it to me until I was at the Western Union so I called him back like 10 minutes later telling him I was at the place and the name he gave me was some bogus name In Delhi, India. I didn't send the money because this is OBVIOUSLY A SCAM!!! Alex Hopkins called me again today asking about the money and when I informed him that his operation was a scam and that I was reporting him he cussed me out and called me all kinds of names and claimed he was looking at me on his computer and that I was a skinny wimp and hung up on me, then called right back and told me that I needed to send the money right now. The numbers they were using yesterday were from New York and the number today was from Jamaica.
