We booked a convertible car with GreenMotion Bulgaria in Sofia through the WiseCars broker via Kayak. GreenMotion Bulgaria calls us 3 hours prior to picking up the car saying that the last convertible car available had an accident and that there is no more convertible car available. Then, we discuss a potential solution. They propose us a medium range car for 75 eur per day while it shows on the website at 69 eur per day.

Just rented a car for 5 days.
The office/desk is not into the airport, the building is located exactly between Terminal 1 (old) and Terminal 2 (new) of the Sofia Airport.
However, the service has been perfect, an operator is waiting out of the arrival door with name on plate and with the free shuttle the building is reached in 2 minutes.
Staff very kindly and supportive.
Car was almost new (most of the car they have are Citroen), very clean, in perfect order.
Return the car has been very easy and staff drove me back to the departures terminal.
Great value for the price paid. Really.
The locked amount on the credit card as guaranty has been unlocked right away at the return after checking the car.
Highly recommended.
I didn't signed for the additional insurance for the extra coverage, all has gone well, fortunately, however considering the kind of roads and environments in Bulgaria, I think I should do better to accept it. I should stay quieter.
Overall opinion: REALLY RECOMMENDED.
