To anyone reading this, and contemplating buying seeds from G.C. DON'T !!!! From my recent experience, as well as the most current reviews, this place has a problem and you likely will not receive what you order….if at all !
Oh, let me share you, how my first purchase with Growers choice seeds turned out:
First off, I chose to trust them by sending them a money order and HOPE I don't get burned. After what seemed like a reasonable amount of time to process, I had not heard anything from GC……so I " chatted" with them. I was told they couldn't find it ( money order) at that time. Next ( and I believe it was the very next day) VIOLA! The process had started !!! Funny how they couldn't find the MO until I contacted them ( similar scenario as what others have described here).
From there, it seemed like it took way longer than normal, just to put the package in the mailbox. This delay was blamed on Covid.
I received the seeds a week AFTER my target planting date.
Props for receiving great seeds because I had all 12 seeds, out of the ground within 96hrs ! 100% germination !
The good ends there.
I ordered 3 seeds of 3 different varieties PLUS , I got 3 free seeds ( of their choice).
I bought:
3 "wedding cake"
3 "9 pound hammer"
3 "forbidden fruit"
The 3 free seeds were "mexican haze"
Well, this is what I ordered and what the labels said, that is……..
All were SUPPOSED to be "feminized photos"……but here is what ended up growing in my room:
All 3 "mexican haze" are AUTOS
All 3 "9 pound hammer" are AUTOS
One of the "forbidden fruit" went AUTO
The 4th set of seeds ( wedding cake) produced 2 plants which appear the same but, the third plant is a totally different variety altogether ! It is a drastically different !
"Alma" has contacted me about this. We are still in the question and answer mode but I suspect that I will be offered some free seeds for their screw up……..but why should I even trust them to provide seeds that are what they say they are ( in the future)?
Alma, I want a full refund and NOT more of your floor sweepings ! Sorry, facts is facts.
Folks, please pay attention to the date stamps on these reviews. You will see that this place has a REAL problem right now! Stay away for AT LEAST 1 year and 2 would be better. This is enough time for them to throw away ALL of their seed bank, and start over with KNOWN seeds. I mean geeez, either ALL of your seeds are cross contaminated or you really don't give a $hit about providing us with reliable KNOWN seeds and simply draw your seeds from a bucket of who-knows – what seeds.
At least this is MY experience.
Hey Growers Choice, YOU have ruined the early grow of 5 different people with this one fiasco…..not to mention the clones that were to come off for the summer/ fall grow.
My first experience with GC, will be my last.

You make it sound as if you want everyone to THINK that you are being helpful. Hope you haven't fooled EVERYONE with this ploy .
You have offered me a replacement…but I once again, have to send you more money for shipping and handling. Really? I already paid for S&H. YOU screwed up the order…Right? 7 autoflowers out of 12 feminized photos. In fact, autos were MIXED in with the photos. So tell me GCS, just what variety do I have now growing in my room? I don't know either, at this point. I mean, if 7 of 12 seeds wrong, then I have serious doubts on the remaining 5. So now you want me to accept MORE seeds from your dustpan?
Seriously GCS, you are damaging OUR cannabis community. PLEASE empty your buckets and start over in a few years. You have a serious problem over there, right now.
Look at your reviews on this ONE forum alone. Out of over 500 reviews, Fully half of the people are less than happy. This should speak loud and clear to anyone thinking about buying from GCS. OVER 50% ARE DISSATISFIED CUSTOMERS OUT OF OVER 500 REVIEWS !
I will say it again, You either have cross contaminated seed stock or, you just don't give a $hit…….I think it's both……..
You have lost THIS customer, and I hope I have talked some sense into a few others with this post…….and I'm just getting started…..I promise.

I ordered from Growers Choice and another company. I was amazed at the difference in quality, resilience, and yield. Even the packaging of the seeds is so much better. I won't waste my money with another company, Growers Choice is my choice.

So I have ordering from GCS on multiple occasions and have never been let down. I have read all the bad reviews on how people didn鈥檛 get their seeds but I have ALWAYS RECEIVED MY SEEDS and have ALWAYS RECEIVED A TRACKING NUMBER. Things do take a little longer now that Covid is around but they make it clear due to covid things are slower.

Also they are great with replacing seeds that DIDNT SPROUT they simply ask you to explain to them how the buyer messed up germination and if it鈥檚 within reason they will replace them. But I seriously don鈥檛 see how people can complain about this company I have never had an issue not once and I just placed another order less then a week ago….

My seeds finally came in. The look good and the packaging does as well. All the seeds sprouted tap roots. But if you order seeds it will more than likely take a month to get them

They just take way too long to get your order out. Several weeks for a package of 3 seeds is unacceptable. I would find another vendor.

i liked my first grow in my greenhouse did crital purple had a good harvest now im doing gorilla glue hopefully even better! growing out of the bay area ! if you dont know about fertilization ph and humidity just watch youtube videos its not growers choices fault you cant grow properly

These are crap seeds. I've been doing this for 20 years I got one out of 10 to grow and it's not growing well I've never had this problem with any of my seeds before from (ganja-estates.com) This company is out for a quick buck they don't care about the product l will recommend (ganja-estates.com) they are very legit and reliable

All 12 seeds I planted germinated. Due to me not understanding the importance of keeping ph at a certain level, only five produced and I was pleased with what I got even though I under watered and Fertilized them. Used paper towel method and each one germinated. Very pleased.

All 3 auto seeds never germinated followed instructions seeds never cracked open my last time got one out of 3 not worth it.6 seeds gave me 2 and one was hermphadyt all had seeds nothing smokable. Booooo

I will update if they don't honor the promise posted below. I am replacing my original review. You cannot trust the strain identity you order. Positive reviews on their website are likely from employees; sign in as a customer and there's no way to write a review! Not a single plant is what I ordered (feminized CBD plants). They did replace my seeds twice (for the shipping fee). So, on top of what I paid for seeds, I have now paid nearly $30 for shipping. Nice customer service, but for what? I need CBD. I got all autoflower plants on the first round. My stoner friends are happy because I could give them some flower (not really that much), but sadly, I have zero confidence any of my sees are CBD; none of their CBD plants are autoflower. The last seed replacement was too late in the year to plant. If anything grows next year, I'll revise this review. So far, 4 plants grew from 12 seeds. Three flowered when they were about a foot tall. I remain hopeful for one that grew about 2 feet tall and is now flowering. Maybe it's CBD. Using Foxfarm Ocean forest soil outside in S. California. It's not a photoperiod/ lighting issue (as they originally blamed).

Order # 1361616 at this point I'm giving them only 1 star and if I could give them less I would. I placed an order on August 24th and I received an email that my payment was received on August 28th and that I would get a tracking number when it was shipped. On September 2nd I received another email with a tracking number which I checked every day patiently waiting for my 3 critical purple auto flower seeds plus the three free auto flower seeds they advertise for paying with a money order or cashier's check, I payed via money order FYI.
After checking the tracking number on September 8th I seen that it had said it was delivered so I went and looked and to my dismay I found out there was only junk mail in my mail box. I usually exclusively purchase from mephisto genetics but I've heard only great things about them from my friends and decided to take a chance. I've contacted their support and they said it's out of their hands so I'm glad I only purchased a three pack as I would be out quite a bit of money that I would usually spend on seeds… Will not be using them again and would not recommend to my friends!!!

As I read the reviews in trustpilot.. you can tell the good ones are fake this is a terrible company two chances both times they intentionally screwed up!!!! You cannot get ahold of anybody they take forever to get back with you save your money there are other companies out there like (ganja-estates.com) they'll do what they say and say what they do!!

Anyone who complains about customer service is flat out impatient. This is my second time ordering, they responded instantly and order is being processed. I typically email them, and get a response within 24 hours. They stand by their morals, and are very helpful. The slightest problem that you might encounter is that shipping might take a little extra time due to COVID, but the seeds are fantastic, I can assure you. Not a bot, college Senior.

I have purchased seeds for two years from them. They have always honored their germination guarantee but I only needed it once. I get gorgeous flowers that are potent and pungent. Awesome seeds and great customer service.

My first order for 3 gorilla glue seeds took a while to get delivered which wasn鈥檛 an issue because I understood there鈥檚 pandemic going on. What I did have a problem with was that none of the seeds germinated. But I had already ordered more gg auto seeds as well as critical purple and tangerine dream. I tried to germinate the 5 gg auto seeds. And 2 sprouted successfully and are growing well. But a 25% germination rate is horrible. I haven鈥檛 even tried the other seeds yet fearing that I鈥檒l get a low germination rate with those as well. I reached out to customer service and nobody has responded yet. Going on 4-5 days now. I won鈥檛 be shopping with fritters choice seeds any longer.

Growers Choice Seeds is quick to remind you to send payment but take their own time shipping out orders even after paying. My order has been awaiting fulfillment for 5 days. It should not take a full business week to package an order and ship it out even in peak business times. I can understand COVID-19 impacting shipping times, but it should not affect the times in which orders are fulfilled.

Also, the customer service does not answer any questions regarding your specific order. They just give you stock responses and have no way or desire to check on your specific order. Maybe spend less time responding to reviews on Trustpilot with stock responses and more time fulfilling orders.

If you're convinced this is a good choice for your seed purchase, I have a very nice bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell you. I have not had a customer experience this ridiculously bad in years. Almost two months since I placed my order and I'm still hearing some crazy explanations about how it's all the fault of the post office. Buyer beware!

Ok lets start off like this. A month ago i ordered seeds with zelle and i ran into some problems because they weren't shipping my item even though i paid 36 dollars for Afghan seeds they said it would be here from July 7th to 14th and i ordered june 24th and its july 21st and still no seeds i feel like im being scammed because i checked the tracking number and i it still hasn't moved for a month, it says awaiting in Sacramento, and still no seeds, i want my seeds or money back and not to mention i sent emails telling them what happened and i still haven't got a single answer.

Ok soo before i ordered i read all the horror stories about GC and i still took a chance and decided to order from them ….i placed my order on June 19th and received it on July 13th….a little over 3 weeks …not bad ….i germ'd 6 seeds total …3 Fruity Pebbles ..and 3 Purple Critical and all 6 seeds popped in 3 days !…..I feel bad for those that are having issues but my order was flawless….the only reason i didnt give 5 stars is because there was still no communtication ….no verifying emails etc like i was told there would be

Awful! I ordered 10 seeds and only one germinated. I emailed them several times and never got any kind of refund or replacement. Do not buy from Growers Choice. They should be reported to the Better Business Bureau.

Horrible company! I purchased seeds for 3 years and never got Great herb! This year 2020 I ordered 3seeds that never germinated. When I contacted this crooked company I took them almost a month to respond! They said I need to send them another $10 to get new seeds to replace the bad ones! I was shocked by their response! I will never do business with these crooks again!
