I sent my iPhone 15 months ago, and I still haven't received my payment.

I would give this company 0 stars if possible. They owe me $4026.00. I sent my equipment to them on July 15th 2015. It is now 1 year later and nothing. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

DON'T SEND ANYTHING TO THIS COMPANY… YOU'LL HAVE MORE FUN SKIPPING YOUR PHONE ACROSS THE POND.

I went online in August 2015 and was promised $175 for my Iphone 5s, which I promptly shipped. I was notified that my check was "on its way." The check did not arrive until January 2016, and it bounced. My bank charged me a $5 returned check fee. I emailed customer service (no phone number on the website and I couldn't find one that was still in service). I've only heard back from one person, Amanda, who emailed and asked for the info about the check. I told her that they should send substitute payment via Paypal or a money order since I don not want another bounced check. I also said I would take my phone back. I never heard back from her and I've tried multiple times to contact her and others. I even found the CEO's information and emailed him.

This website says get paid for selling your broken phone, They sent me the free shipping box on time when it was expected. I was suppose to get paid weeks later , this been since October/November, it's December, and I been gave them my phone (be mindful , I could've kept my phone and gotten fix myself) I was supposed to get paid 65.00$ (due to an huge delay I now demand more money) & after sending thousands of complaint emails they never got back to me … So I gave them a fixable iPhone 5s , & not got my money since.

Same experience as the others. These people are out-and-out thieves.

I received a quote from them on October 14 that I would be paid $90 for my iPhone 5 assuming they received it from me in good condition. They sent me a mailer and I sent my phone to them on October 23. On October 26 I received confirmation in writing that the phone was received in good condition and I would be paid within 1-3 days. I never was. Beginning November 1 I sent them numerous emails which were all blown off with form responses or ignored altogether. The only phone number I could find was disconnected. After doing research to see if others had had this problem I was amazed to find the scale at which this has been an issue; the BBB has received dozens of complaints and made a formal complaint to the company, which ignored it. They say,

"BBB files indicate a pattern of complaints concerning problems with mobile device trade-in offers from Guzu. …However, as several weeks go by, numerous consumers reportedly still haven't received the cash for their devices. A few consumers who have received a check from Guzu claim that the check has bounced and they are charged a fee for that by their banks.

On August 12, 2015, BBB requested Guzu's voluntary cooperation in eliminating the identified pattern of complaints. As of September 11, 2015, the business has not responded to BBB's communications about this matter."

There are dozens of similar websites compiling exactly this same pattern of fraudulent behavior. While I am of course biased since they ripped me off personally, it does seem like this is a genuine, recurring issue and in fact I have not been able to find a single real person who was paid by them other than the "testimonials" on their website which I suspect are also made up.

If you light your phone on fire you will have more fun and achieve the same result. I just hope law enforcement eventually catches on, I contacted all the entities I can think of.

Guzu sent me an email stating they received the phone and they were processing payment but never got paid and they wont respond to emails.

Crooks and scammers hope they rot in hell

Sent equipment and they sent two checks – each of which bounced – they promised to wire the money – nothing happened. they owe me $1129 – they will not answer phone calls or emails. It has been over 9 weeks. These guys are crooks and should not be trusted.
