This is our 3rd year and 5th stay at this location. We find the area to be very safe, parking lot well lit, hotel staff very nice, room and bedding very comfortable, updated and clean. We highly recommend this location.

Let me start off my saying I have previously stayed at this location with no problems, but I usually stay at the Charleston, WV downtown Hampton Inn or Embassy Suites. But, this property is newer than the downtown location and because I was arriving late in the evening and alone, I was not comfortable staying at the downtown Charleston Embassy as the parking deck is not connected to the hotel.

Upon arriving the first room I was assigned (room 100) had an odd odor. The front desk happily reassigned me to room 200. Immediately went to bed as I had driven over 8 hours that day and it was after midnight. When I woke, I found a few areas in the bathroom near the toilet that simply were not clean. There was a dried splatter mark in front of the toilet on the floor (see pic) and obvious urine on the seat lid (see pic). When I opened the shower door, there were at least 5 dark hairs on the shower wall before I ever entered (see pics). In addition, there were soap/shampoo remnants (see pic) on the shelf from the previous person that I could easily wipe away. Disgusting! I frequent Hilton properties for business and pleasure many and know this level is below standard. I left the for afternoon on business and upon returning, I stopped by the front desk to make them aware of the substandard housekeeping in my room, never was I offered another room! Just a shrug and, "sorry about that".

When returning to my room, I felt the room was cold and attempted to adjust the wall thermostat. The controls were all unresponsive so I walked down to the lobby. The front desk staff informed me they needed to set my room to "VIP control" so that I could control the temperature. What??! I have never had to request to control the temperature of my own room! They said they set it at 70 degrees for me, as I asked, and that the controls in my room should be responsive in 5-10 minutes. I left and went to dinner. Upon returning, the temperature in my room was 78 degrees!

The "floating" bedside table was also covered in dried liquid, a drink, bodily fluid, who knows (see pic).

I am absolutely disgusted at the poor level of housekeeping in my room. I feel a cheap, low end motel would be the same or better. I have NEVER had such a disgusted feeling at any room I have ever stayed in with Hilton, nor has my husband and he travels quite frequently. Prior to my arrival, the housekeeper, Christie, took the time to write a note about "peace and love", she really should've skipped the note and taken the time to clean. Please view the pictures for yourself! I requested the GM's email address but oddly, no one messaged me back!

I will continue to stay at Hilton properties, but will skip over this one next time. You can't cut corners in the bathroom.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay while visiting relatives that live in the Spring Hill area. This location in Southridge out Corridor G is near jist about any type of store or restaurant you could want. The hotel seems newer and in good condition. Online reservations were easy and the price was comparable to decent hotels downtown. The pool/hot tub/gym area is really good. I used the gym twice and my grandson used the pool and hot tub multiple times on the three nights we were there. The pool stays open until midnight which is the latest I have ever seen hotel pool stay open. The beds were ok, slightly shaky but the pillows were really uncomfortable. The breakfast is a step above continental but nowhere near a full service. We could not handle it for more than two days. The hotel is a solid choice. We would definitely stay here again for the short term but for more than a couple of days I would look for a full service breakfast spot.

This Hampton Inn is Amazing!!! Driving from Michigan to North Carolina, my partner booked this hotel for me, It looked brand new, was very clean, and he amenities were Awesome. A Beautiful Pool, with Hot Tub, which I took advantage of, after I went to dinner to one of the many restaurants, that surround the this property. The room was a very generous size, the bed very comfortable. I have to say the Shower was Amazing, I took two, once after the Hot Tub, and one in the morning before continuing my drive home, to Durham NC. The Breakfast was very convenient, plentiful, and good. I had a Waffle! Although it's just a bit off my travel route, I will definitely be making this my usual stopping point on my travels to and from Michigan.

Hotel feels like new, is clean and welcoming. Breakfast is served from 5:30-10 am daily. There is a pool, patio, fitness area. Definitely glad we chose this hotel. Also near lots of great restaurants and Starbucks too!

Wonderfully clean and comfortable beds. Assortment of coffee and hot teas available. Indoor pool and hot tub. Staff is very helpful and friendly. No problems at all with our stay. We will visit again when we need a quick get a way. It is close to local restaurants and movies.

This place is very clean and has excellent design. There is always free coffee and pop and their breakfast is very good. The building is properly maintained. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The rate was very low (around $100 per night) making this place an excellent value.

This is a very beautiful new & updated place. Very Nice employees (thank you Darien for your patience) & good pricing. Beds are comfy. Whirlpool in room a big plus after having back pain from traveling. We will definitely stop here again if opportunity arises. 🙂

This is one of the nicest Hampton Inns in our experience. We try to stay at Hampton Inns when we travel because they are consistently nice and reasonably priced. However this hotel exceeded our expectations. There is a free soda machine, great cookies and when we checked in, they had wine, beer, cheese, crackers, chips and salsa. It was great. We were tired and it was great! The pool was fantastic too. And of course breakfast!

As Hamptons go, this is top shelf! Free manager's reception in the evening, nice indoor pool and hottub, and excellent fitness room with great new machines. I wish all Hamptons were as nice!

This hotel is wonderful. We had a honeymoon suite and loved the room to pieces. The jacuzzi was wonderful. The bed was comfortable and the room cozy. And this is coming from someone that has a hard time sleeping in a different bed at times. The staff was on top of things throughout our stay. (Noise complaint from rambunctious kids quelled within 10 minutes.) Free soft drink machine, free coffee and hot water for various tea choices, and free breakfast that is decent enough, with a nice eating area. Pool and workout area available. Free parking. And within walking distance to 4 restaurants. More, if you're willing to walk just a bit further, but understand if you'd hop in your car. We really enjoyed this place. Will visit again.

One of the better Hampton Inns we stayed in. Now I will be expecting the other ones to be this new. There was a no charge wine and beer with cheese and crackers upon arrival ( went until 7pm). The indoor pool area felt like a sauna but once in the pool it didn't matter. The water was clean and temperature perfect. The hot tub was wonderful. Our bed pillows were great but I thought the mattress was a bit on the soft side. Morning breakfast was different with western omelette and round sausages. Hot oatmeal had a variety of toppings!

Comfortable, clean and in an area with plenty of restaurants from which to choose. Super busy because of recent flooding in the area. Currently, undergoing exterior renovations, so parking was kind of hectic, and we had a couple of motorized lift buckets to look at out our window, but that work should be completed soon. Super helpful and friendly staff kick this review up to four stars.

The front desk was extremely accomadating. We asked for a few forks and plates for a birthday cake and Tamara was more than willing. The rooms was immaculate. We had to find a piece of jewelry that I lost while sleeping. We searched every nook and cranny it was all clean. This was while they were remodeling. Zac was setting up for the next morning. He stopped and chatted with us. A very funny man. There were six of us.

For the price we got of $60 because of my sister working for this company and us using her friends and family discount we could not complain. The room was very clean and everything was in very neat and clean order. All the furniture and appliances have been updated along with the bathroom. My wife really enjoyed the makeup remover wipes at the sink. The bed was ok and the pillows were soft. The staff were approachable and friendly. Breakfast was mediocre with egg and cheese omelettes, NO meat, waffles, biscuits and sausage gravy. Then the usual breads and bagels yogurt, oatmeal and hard boiled eggs. Orange juice, pineapple juice and the apple juice was either gone or out of order. The down side to the whole breakfast was it was very messy. The super cool thing about breakfast was the fresh cut fruits and the extras for the waffles. Pool and hot tub were clean and the area was very modern and up to date and didn't close until midnight. The outside of the hotel was undergoing a big renovation, so we had to use the back entrance to get in. Another cool feature of the hotel is its proximity to a bunch of restaurants, all of which are within a 30 second walking distance. Such as: Quaker Steak, ChuckE Cheeses, Chipotle, Panera, and Olive Garden.

Have stayed here at least 30 nights this year, clean, quiet, managers reception Monday – Thursday, and within walking distance to several restaurants. One of the nicest Hampton's out there.

I travel a lot for work, and try to stay in Hilton properties when I can. This is one of the nicest Hampton Inns I have stayed in. It is located in a new shopping center, so there are plenty of places to eat or to shop. (I easily killed a couple hours at the Cabela's up the hill). Most Hampton Inns have a free breakfast, but this one has a nightly manager's reception. This reception has free beer, wine, sodas, and light snacks. The gym is decent. The rooms are quiet, the beds are soft, and the showers are great! All in all a quality hotel. I would definitely stay here again if I am ever in the Charleston area.

Hampton Inn is currently undergoing remodeling. Sign on the front desk says construction starts at 9 am, they actually start a little after 7am. Was able to get a slightly later checkout to make up for inconvenience. However, not thinking I want to stick around and enjoy it.

I never know why people give Hampton Inns 2-3 stars…just because they aren't top of the line fancy??
This is a safe, quite place.
Clean rooms.
Renovated breakfast area.
Kind staff.
Close to stores and restaurants.
Great price.

To me, I know what I'm getting when I book a Hampton…and I like it. 5 out of 5 from me 🙂

Clean room and awesome upgraded bathroom. I was pooped when I got here so the massaging shower head and large bathroom were a welcome surprise. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly and professional. I'd recommend this hotel. They're in the middle of a renovation so you'll see upgrades in the near future.

Overall this is a good Hampton Inn.
Service here is excellent. They take care of their customers.
Location is another plus surrounded by everything and close enough to downtown where they are now scalping people.

My only deduction for this Hampton?
Minus 1 for the A/C and Heat system. If you want to sleep you better not have it on.
Ever sleep beside a locomotive at an intersection? Didn't think so.

Minus 1 for the room.
Why? The room was clean and fit the bill (Room 603)
The deduction for me being it was either a converted smoking room or someone decided to NOT follow the rules and smoked previously.
Sorry, that is a stench that can only go away with paint and fully steamed cleaned carpets. Fa-Breeze may knock out garbage but stinking' cigarettes it don't.
