It's probably close to three months ago that my wife and I decided to invest in a mini split air conditioning/heating system. We ended going with Heartline. From the getgo the prompting was the rebate we would get through NHSaves from the owner Larry Miller. The almost $1400 made the mini split system doable. We were assured by the owner that the system that was going to be installed met all of the requirements to qualify for the rebate. Then it didn't, and he upsold $400 to a system that "Did" qualify. Oh, then Larry upsold us on the remotes another $400 because they would also qualify for the rebate as well. They installed the system and Larry's oldest son David sat at our kitchen table and filled out all of the NHSaves paper work, all we had to do was to sign it and send it. Sounds great doesn't it.

Probable a month later we received a letter from NHSaves, not the check we were expecting, stating that the rebate was denied because the Mitsubishi mini split installed did not meet the requirements for the rebate. I called NHSaves several times really refusing to believe that it did not meet the requirements because we were assured that it did. But at the end of the day, so to speak, Jeremy from NHSaves showed me where it didn't qualify, The EER number of the unit is 10,6 and the number needed to qualify for the rebate is 12+. The unit didn't qualify, so the remotes don't qualify So add it up; upsold on the unit $400, on the remotes $400 and no rebate $1400. And add to that I had three different people at NHSaves tell me the same thing, "Heartline knew that the system did not qualify for the rebate before it was installed."

I called Heartline wanting to talk to Dave which represented himself as such a righteous Christian but wasn't in, so I talked to his wife, Juno and explained it all to her. She took notes wanting to make sure she had everything right and was going to talk to Dave ASAP. We have never heard a word from anyone from Heartline.
