Had them come out 2 times because all my sensors were falling off the windows from the blinds hitting them. First guy sticky taped them on. 2nd guy, Ireti screwed them all in to fix it and glued one in a bedroom to be safe not to break the window from drilling. Then after he left i find out he cracked the glass in the last bedroom window and did not tell me. I was told by Hello Tech to pay him for the screws when he showed me the receipt which he conveniently said he lost when i asked for it. He said they were $17 and some change so i trusted him and gave him the cash. After he left I found out he never bought the screws and he lied about losing the receipt. This is such bad customer service. He knew to show the receipt and took advantage of me. Now I am waiting for the "Incident report" to get to management to see if they fix my cracked window and who knows if i get my $18 back. All this drama is not worth the $79 install fee.

We booked help setting up an Alexa for our sister in a nursing home. Benjamin C was 26 minutes late. He didn't listen to what we wanted, gave conflicting answers to the same question and ultimately, nothing that he said he had fixed worked when we got home. I called the company and asked for a re-do or a refund. They agreed to send a tech again, I insisted it had to be someone different. We'll see how it goes, but at least they didn't try to wiggle out of sending a second person to try again

Hellotech is nothing more than a job posting board for independent contractors. I live in a rural area and after five days of reassuring me that "someone" would pick up my job, they sent me a cancellation text saying. This company is nothing more than a jole of a middleman collecting a cut from any guy that signs up with them to provide tech support. Don't waste your time or money!

I became aware of HelloTech through Walmart when I purchased a television. I called to schedule an appointment. And the representative they sent was courteous. After meeting him, I showed him the wall that i wanted the TV mounted on and left the room (due to COVID concerns, also the gentlemen had a beard and was not being truly protected by a mask). Upon his completion. I entered the room and the television was mounted. Initially, the mount appeared to be done well but the next day while watching the television, my neck was straining and it appeared the mount was too high and uncomfortable to watch TV. I called HelloTech immediately for a re-mount. Each time i called (4x), i was told they would send my request to a team for evaluation. This appears to be a still tactic, as when I called the 5th time, I was told that an email had been sent and my re-mount denied. There was no email in my box. I was upset by the customer service received and will now take my complaints to Walmart. What a doorway to do business!

Today is day 4 of waiting to hear when I will be SCHEDULED to have the in-home service appointment. Who knows when/if they respond how much longer I'll need to get that service. Totally unacceptable; I cancellef

They asked for pictures and told me there would be no additional charges. When the technician got here he said there were additional charges and wanted me to approve them without knowing how much they would be. This company is a big scam they lie about the charges then hit you up when the technician gets there. I would not recommend them to anyone. I called Walmart and told them they are scamming their customers. My installation cost more than my 65 inch TV.

Paid 79.00 thru simply safe who is freaking awesome.
Hellotech Sucks, sends non qualified techs to do a job most of us can do on our own.
Horrible waste of $79.00 I paid these rip offs.

HelloTech sent me an incompetent technician to mount my $1400 television. He did mount it properly, I sent him text messages confirming I was concerned due to a screw being missing and the television sagging, and he told me it would be fine. Fast forward a few weeks and my television falls of the wall.

He claimed to his company that I "modified" the mount in some way. I did not. I used the full range mount as you normally would and it just fell off my wall. They claim no responsibility and are trying to put the blame on me.

I am in the process of fighting for my rightful compensation for the property damage and refund of services. They are not easy to deal with. Buyer beware.

I called hellotech and reserved for a guy named Bryan to wall mount my TV
He was 3 hours late. Then he proceeded to drill into my new wall making holes and scratches everywhere.
He couldnt even mount the TV straight. Then he went on to mount the soundbar. The idiot didnt know what he was doing he used the wrong screw. To make things worse he drilled into the brand new soundbar so it would fit the screws he found in his truck. Made a total mess. He dropped an extension cord behind the wall, which is against electrical code. Then said he should come back another day after 6 hours on the job unable to mount a tv or soundbar. Called hellotech about their awful technician they said they will have to send someone out to assess the situation even after sending them photos of the destruction. They took another reservation they couldnt keep it. Said they needed another week to find someone. Totally awful service. I hired a guy I found on yelp. He has been fixing problems from HelloTech technicians regularly. Do yourself a favor. DO Not use HelloTech. Their technicians are just random people without license. HelloTechs technician application probably anyone can complete, and according to the guy I found on yelp that fixed the tv, holes and soundbar in 30 minitues they dont even pay their technicians on time. Everyone should know this service is totally lousy and awful.

Made appointment to have two flat screen TVs wall mounted. They took my credit card info and then we went back and forth for two weeks regarding scheduling. I eventually said they could come "anytime" and I still got texts messages saying they couldn't locate a tech. The call center was a foreign worker with an extremely heavy accent and not easy to understand, on top of acting clueless as to the entire process. I live 15 minutes outside of Dubuque, find it odd they could find no service tech in the area. I finally gave up and will hire a local contractor as I don't trust HelloTech at all.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This company is terrible to deal with. After paying for a TV mount service in full they delayed scheduling an appointment with me based on my availability, which was any day at anytime. That cancelled the appointment completely after a week of me waiting. I would recommend never using this company they are 100% bait and switch!

Terrible. You make an appointment but the there is not actually an appointment. They send out a request to their technicians which may/may not be available for the time/date requested and they will not let you know if someone is not available. Warning! Waste of time, you will be waiting around for them.

Their ad promises same day service. I was supposed to have a tech today but he did not show up. Then I was told one would be here tomorrow. Then I was told Nope. This is so typical of America's utter lack of decent customer service. I'm sick of it.

I've had the worst experience with this company. After double charging me for services that should've only cost $79, they rescheduled 5 times in a week. People please save your money and do not hire this company

The technician installed the SimpliSafe system with low batteries and said I needed to call for new batteries. I called after he left and was told to remove each and every battery for 15 seconds so it would work. The adhesive strips he used all lost its grip in a month and the sensors and alarm box crashed to the floor. I had previously installed the door bell camera and he charged me for the installation because he needed to scan the bell into the system and that counted as an installation because he had to pop it off and back on again.

Youssef is a great technician! He worked quickly and was very knowledgeable about the services provided. I was very happy with the initial service provided through Hello Tech. It took a while to get an additional call back once I had ordered the recommended parts, but once that was sorted out it was very convenient to have a qualified tech come right away to install our new wifi equipment.

Though it took this company 3 three techs to fulfill the service, Jacob was straight to the work and even put up with some of this old Army retired guy's complaining. Jacob answered my questions clearly. He was able to resolve my internet Repeater issue.

Isaac was extremely knowledgable and efficient in setting up our new router and modem. He talked through our options with us before starting (we had pre-purchased several different systems). He also was very clear about the router webpage and settings. He also was excellent at answering our post set-up questions about successfully reconnecting all of our devices.

Charles did an AMAZING job – he went above and beyond to be sure everything was perfect. He installed two Arlo Pro 3 Outdoor Floodlight Cameras as well as cable management for the outdoor charging cables. He was very professional and friendly. I truly appreciate his fantastic work!

After 4 rescheduled and cancelled "appointments" the tech finally showed up. Excited and ready to finally get the job done I took him to the room where the TV was ordered for mounting. He proceeded to ask me where the mounting equipment was. Perplexed, I told him I paid for that to be
Installed including the mounting equipment. He said he was sorry and there was nothing he could do.

Here I am now, two weeks later and 5 total cancels and reschedules. I've put aside so much time for this to be done. I'll just do it myself.

They must be filtering out bad reviews off websites to fluff their rating. Because I'd rather go to the DMV 2 days in a row, then work with HelloTech ever again.

Eric was very knowledgeable and installed our new tv very well, taking time to teach me how to use the remotes and explaining the technology involved. He also solved the problem with my living room tv and explained things thoroughly so I that I understood completely how to order and install the small part that I had not been able to get at Best Buy yesterday. I appreciated how clear he was in explaining things to me so that I understood both tv's, how to use the remotes, and what the problem had been. He was excellent and a pleasure to work with.

i was about to call a known company, but i took a chance and called a company i did not know, HelloTech. I could not have been more pleased. They were completely responsive and the tech who came to my home knew what the problem was and fixed it immediately. He also answered all my questions which i appreciated because i like to know what is happening with my computer. i would call them again and i would reccomend them to anyone.

Knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. The tech fixed my issue, answered questions. I'm very pleased with Hello Tech. Highly recommend. Far less expensive that Best Buy's Geek Squad!
