Bought a Hitachi smart tv about 18 months ago. In the first month it was taken away for repair because it was not picking up the internet. Told it was a faulty part. The exact same thing has happened again. Got no response from hitachi

Bought this tv for the kitchen. Initially it appeared flimsy we haven't bought a tv for a while so thought this was normal. It would not connect to the wifi despite resetting several times. Gradually it began to turn itself off it stayed off a couple of minutes then turned itself back on. After seven episodes of the on/off in one hour we returned it. On the advice of the assistant in argoswe bought an LG. No further problems. Would not recommend this poor product

Bought an Hitachi 50" HD TV 2 years ago from Argos.
Picture suddenly started going with red lines down the screen. Now fully red/orange screen, so completely useless.
Contacted Hitachi and Argos, but no one is replying.
Definitely sticking with Samsung/Panasonic as both have lasted over 10 years!

I bought two tvs recently I use head phones.it states that you need a 3.55 headphone jack I found out the jacks are to big for my tv I have read other people are having the same problem I bought a 2.55 male and a 3.55 female adapter and these work perfect

I do not get that negative reviews anyway, I do see something like that was being done with that matter anyway. IT's a great Japan company with everything being done there if needed and done correctly. Maybe they are out of business a bit for that matter anyway cause of China a bit.

Just purchased a Hitachi 75 inch tv for less than 拢900 and am very pleased with it so far. Picture and sound quality are excellent .

I bought a Hitachi 43" 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV on the 27 December 2017. I very seldom buy extended guarantees for TV's as I have found in the past they last pretty well. In the main at least 5 years or more. Well I wish I had for this Hitachi TV. Because, not even15 months after having bought it. It's died! It switches itself off and back on again every minute or so. Costs to much to have it repaired so I'm going back to LG. They have proved to me that they are a far superior TV. My advice is steer well clear of Hitachi TV's. They're rubbish!

i kitted out my kitchen with stailnless steel appliances from lots of different manufacturers and was shocked to find my hitachi mse 23 microwave started to rust. all the other manufacturers used real stainless hence no rust. tried to call hitachi offices in maidenhead and was fobbed off and told to go to the retailer i bought it from. i cant do that because comet have shut down plus they didnt manufacture it!. very poor product followed by some of the craziest comments from their customer care dept equals stay away from these con artists as they dont want to know if you have any problems. stick to panasonic or kenwood as they care for their customers

Hitachi smart tv rubbish !! Navigation is very poor and tv like to turn itself off when it pleases ! Sound system extremely poor ! Sound bar required ! Poor quality rushed design !

This recorder is the worst piece of tech I have ever bought. If I could get hold of who ever wrote the programming for it I couldn't be held responsible. Totally rubbish in every aspect

I recently contacted Hitachi about a 40 inch LED TV Model No 40H6L03U. The tv has developed a fault whereby it will switch on for a few seconds, then the picture would disappear and the screen would go black but sound is still functioning. Hitachi customer services were not interested in the fault, were unable to tell me if other TV's of the same model had this fault. Instead they just said it is out of warranty and to approach a costly repair company. 拢105 plus parts for a 拢280 tv is extortionate and I would expect a TV to last longer than 3 years before developing a fault. I will never purchase an Hitachi TV as I felt the aftercare was appalling. I have now found a repair company who will assess the fault free of charge and if I want to go ahead with the repair will cost me 拢60 plus parts.
