I would NOT recommend buying anything from this site. (they are not UK based) Before I placed the order, I discussed a few questions with their customer service. They were very helpful and I felt very confident to buy the product聽from this company. Soon as the item arrived we tested it out before installing it to our ceiling. It worked although聽the manual wasn't for this light fitting at all. Soon as we installed the light fitting didn't work at all, we tried different things but it didn't work. We received聽a remote control with this light fitting which came with no manual. I sent an email to request that manual but never聽heard back about it. The remote control seemed like a cheap plastic聽product which was a huge disappointment. We decided that we don't want to waste our time and money and requested the 30-days FULL REFUND policy.聽
Their reply was that it is only possible if I send back the product through royal mail or parcel force (they also attached two screen shots聽about the delivery prices which was extremely high and they don't accept any other company). Their products are coming from China, not the UK!! They have a 30-days "no questions asked'' full refund policy which we didn't receive. They requested images of the product to see what's the problem and offered a 15% refund and replacement parts. I agree that probably it would have been a cheaper option to fix the light fitting instead of sending it back to CHINA but what's the point to the 30 days FULL refund policy if I can't apply for it?聽
They said that I can send the item back but they will not help to solve the issue if the CHINA custom holds the item back (covid 19) and I will have to pay the聽costs for it. So I got the light fitting which did not work, the manual isn't for that light fitting and the remote control had no manual either. Who knows if the product will arrive or "accidentally" gets聽hold in the CHINA custom and I will lose any possibility for any kind of refund?! The 15% refund is unacceptable so I contacted UK customs regarding the situation聽because this is illegal activity in the UK. Soon as I told them I had received an offer for a 50% refund. I accept it because probably it is easier than fighting for 100%.聽
So I don't recommend聽buying a light fitting from CHINA because you will not be able to return it, if it is not working or even if you change your mind. Check on google the company because I'm not the only one who had this "expensive" lesson. I should have shopped from a UK based company because they follow the proper refund policies if you change your mind. I hope this helps and do your research before you order!聽

DO NOT ORDER ON THIS SITE. He was reported to Google and the consumer protection association.
It's a scam
Read my experience below, as well as comments from people who have posted more than one review (and thus avoid false reviews, as if by chance, postitive)

I should have suspected it by ordering:
– The site is full of spelling mistakes,
– the return policy is not clear,
– there is no specific address for the company's headquarters

We still ordered on February 14 (order # 9716553)
Item should be shipped within 5-7 business days.
A few days after this date, having had no news, I restarted the company, which told me that it was normal … I asked for compensation on the shipping costs that I had paid, which was refused, because I am explained that it was necessary to re-produce the lamp which was out of stock (by reading the other opinions, it is apparently an excuse which is often used). So why is it not written on the site when ordering?
The order was finally shipped on March 11. Finally, I received notification of the shipment from Holland, which does not mean that it was the first place of shipment of the order.
I finally received the package on March 24, and here it confirmed to me that it was a scam:
– There were 2 packages, tied one on the other with tape, to hide the Chinese shipping labels and only show those from Holland (and like all the other notices, "the item was out of stock , we had to bring them from our warehouse in China). During COVID-19, shipping packages from China is not very thoughtful
– More than approximate packaging to "protect" the wall lights
– I'm not even talking to you about the quality of the wall lights … the plastic … the rough finishes …
– No assembly instructions. when I ask, they send me in Chinese鈥?then translated鈥?it looked like a minor had done the work鈥?

When I say that I want to send back the junk, I am asked why but I am not given the return procedure. I finally got it after I was told:
– The shipping costs are my responsibility. Given the size of the package and the place of dispatch, which is not Europe, but China, this must represent at least 50% of the purchase price
– Customs fees are my responsibility. When ordering, the place of shipment was not China, so why should I send them back?
– By reading the articles earlier, even if the articles are returned, the refund is not made

I tried to return a product and they refused to give me the returns address for over 3 weeks and I had to email 11 times.
I then got the address and postage was over 拢80 to return.
They then rejected the delivery and sent it back.

I still don't have my refund over 3 months later.

If anyone would like to see the email thread that I have kept. It is available to all that want it. Contact trustpilot and I can get it to them.

I buy black modern crystal chandelier, was extremely fast delivery, 10 days to London, the box packed well, I open and close , Cos will take it to ?? Lithuania, so really don鈥檛 know how it works, but looks exactly like in the pics, really beautiful black glass chandelier, nothing broken
By accident I buy 120V, but in Europe 220V, so sales notice that,they ask are you sure in uk ?? 120V? Thanks god they notice, so they were happy to change Voltage, can鈥檛 wait to see how it looks on the ceilings

Do not buy from this company. I BouGHT A FLASH LIGHT paid over 拢70 and the product is so bad that i will not be using the lamp.Poor plastic finish, looks cheap…not worth it even 拢10.when i told them i aould like to return the product they asked me to pay 拢75 for the return service !Very unprofessional service, not helpful at all.

I bought the crystal ball pendant light and it is beautiful! It was much cheaper and had more lights than similar lights. Customer service was extremely responsive when we could not get the remote control to work.

I will definitely look here for my next light purchase.

My light from home lava arrived today and it looked really good on the internet, on closer inspection the panels dont fit and it looks like something from poundland. Ive emailed for a refund and address and they aren't playing ball their are making things extremely difficult to send the item back. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE OUT OF ORDER! Not worth 1 star i would of put 0 if i could. Spend your hard earned cash elsewhere folks!!!!

Sold me a light fixture that does not meet United States National Electrical Code. Made it extremely difficult to return. Also the return itself is very expensive because company is based in China. I returned anyway on principal. Now they are claiming that the light fixture has been scratched and refusing to reimburse me my money. I WOULD NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY – YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Be very cautious with HomeLava! I bought 2 ceiling lights, arrived quickly but shockingly poor quality products, Unfinished, nothing like the nice pictures on their website! I have been trying to return the lights for weeks, HomeLava does everything to prevent that. Finally agreed to refund for one of the lights but not refunded yet. For the second light they ask me to send to China plus 10% restocking fee the total cost is more then the light! Their products are very expensive for the quality you get!
I have bought many lights online,as our house was under complete renovation, HomeLava are by far the worst quality and customer service.

Company, awful customer service. The product does not work and this people keeps playing around With my time… asking for photos and videos of the product conected so they can see the stupid lamp does not work. DONT BUY FROM THEM! You will regret it… Home Lava sucks… They are not even In the US, they are located in China and if you have to return the product YOU as a customer pay the shipping costs to CHINA.

Bad Quality and even worse customer service. Items did not work. In this case it was a ceiling light (flower) did not light up after installation. Packages were missing instructions and customer service does not respond to attempts to contact.

Tr猫s d茅莽u. Lampe arriv茅e en mauvaise au niveau des soudures et filetage ab卯m茅s. Oblig茅 de faire r茅parer la lampe neuve. Pas de remboursement car j'ai refus茅 de payer les frais de retour qui 茅tait de 52 euros !!!!! Lampes achet茅es 139 euros, qui valait 20 tellement la qualit茅 est m茅diocre. R茅fl茅chissez bien avant de commander, les frais de retour sont ch猫re vers la Chine.

In the beginning, I was a bit concerned about the products, but when I received the lamps and assembled them, they look gorgeous and exactly like the pictures on the website.
The services of HOMELAVA was excellent. They responded to my request and emails swiftly.

Homelava is the worst. One light I ordered wouldn't even fit together but they wouldn't help in any way. After many emails over many months they wouldn't even give me a return shipping address, even for me to pay the return shipping. The other, with an LED included, lasted about 4 months and now it's garbage. I will continue to spread the word about how terrible this company is. What a frustrating waste of money.

Order the light. Waited about a 1.5 month to get it to USA. Chinese company and the light wasn鈥檛 as pretty as shown on pictures. I found later that you can buy better quality in United States stores fo the same money or less without waiting.

A word of warning: this is a chinese company and any return charges have to be paid for by the purchaser. Be prepared for this before you make the purchase. I am now in receipt of a towel shelf i don't want that will cost me more to return than it's worth.
