HomeTeam Inspection Service

Buyer beware. Read HomeTeam's contract. They verbally told me they would consider changes so I made some mark ups, provided them and they responded via email that their contract is nonnegotiable.

So what's the rub? Item 11 in HomeTeam's contract is weighted 100% to HomeTeam.
For example:
– HomeTeam retains ownership of the inspection report and it is provided as a confidential document to the Client;
– Prohibits you from reproducing and/or sharing the report unless HomeTeam agrees in writing, and for that service, you may have to pay more.
– HomeTeam wants you to indemnify and defend HomeTeam if there's any claim made against HomeTeam by a third party who was not authorized to receive the report.

What a hassle.

I was referred to HomeTeam Inspection Service by my real estate agent and SO glad I chose them! It was my first time going through the home buying process so I had countless questions. Luckily, there was a previous home inspection report from only a few months ago, so I had a baseline comparison. Mike was extremely patient and not only answered all my questions, but took extra time to show me and explain his answers. He even showed me things more than once when I forgot. In addition, he explained differences in inspection report, why certain things were done, and provided recommendations regarding who to contact/where to shop for additional work on the home. He made me feel extremely comfortable and I would use HomeTeam Inspection Service again in a heartbeat.

So glad I hired these guys. Very easy to work with – professional and forthright. My inspector was awesome and even came to re-inspect once it started raining and I have leakage issues a few weeks after my initial inspection. From the office to the field – their team was great. Thanks!

Bruce took his time and explained all repairs that would be required and maintenance issues to us as he conducted the inspection. He was knowledgeable concerning codes and even went above and beyond by explaining to us things that we would need to pay attention to in the future concerning things that were not a defect at the moment. The report was very detailed and prompt.

The inspector was very through and took the time to explain what he was doing, why and what he was looking for. He also went over the result verbally with me, encouraged questions and gave great explanations. The report was very detailed.

When my son purchased his first home we used Home Team as our Inspection Service. We were so impressed with the quality of service we received that we chose to use them again for the purchase of our new home.
Bruce is great and very thorough in explaining the process to you and believe me, I had many questions. I felt very confident in his work and will be using Home Team again in the future!

Got an inspection as part of my home buying process in May 2015. The written inspection seemed very thorough, but the best part was that Mike talked to me on the phone as a follow-up to some questions I had and he stayed on the phone until all my questions were answered. Gave me confidence to proceed with the inspection repair requests as part of our home buying process. Also was very responsive and flexible on scheduling. Would highly recommend.

It was very detailed and our inspector described everything very clear. He answered all our questions in detail. When we did the re-inspection he made sure that all was done correctly and was very helpful!

The home team inspection was thorough, precise and detail oriented. The written report was clear, well organized. The inspector sat down with me after he had completed his home survey and reviewed his findings with encouragement and encouraging advice about making corrections. There will be no surprises when our home goes on the market, or from the buyer's home inspection, to delay the transaction.
