This company is only interested in profit and takes no ownership ir responsibility for your booking whatsoever. If the properry owner's policy is 'no refunds' then you won't get your money back no matter the circumstances. We had to cancel due to COVID-19 and even our bank couldn't help. Avoid at all costs.

Tried to book a property with 3 different owners and the requirements stated in the website are totally different from those instructed by the owners. Properties that were booked were shown as available which is quite misleading when you are searching for a holiday trip. Owners which advertise their propeties as pet friendly, as soon as you tell them you will bring a pet they find excuses to prevent you from booking the property or claiming that properties are unavailable although the website shown them as available. Such a waste of time!! I only then realised what a scam this website and properties鈥?owners are. I prefer to book through booking.com which has been very reliable all these years.

WILL NOT RENT FROM HOMEAWAY EVER AGAIN! Rented a place from Monopoly Properties in New Orleans – these owners refused to refund the money for our $2,000 plus stay that was scheduled in early April 2020 – when COVID-19 quarantine orders made it unsafe to travel. AIRBNB offered refunds no questions asked. Homeaway and VRBO "encouraged" owners to refund, but leave renters no recourse if those owners refuse (which they did). DO NOT RENT FROM MONOPOLY PROPERTIES in New Orleans! Not only did they refuse to refund our money or allow us credit to apply at a different date, they refused to respond to any messages or phone calls. Super unethical during a global pandemic.

I booked 4 times, out of that 3 times were canceled from the owner and when I contact the service they say the owner has not reimbursed yet but finds it normal. The fourth time I cancel within the free cancellation policy and lose 500 euros as the owner "forgot" to cancel. Go away, shame on Expedia the new owner.

Seriously… this is poor service (understated) .
No response from owner.
No response from home away.. as everyone seemed to be away.
No follow up
No validation
No checks… it's a broker that has no skin in the game..i.e. it's you and the owner who have all the risk..
If you want to do this.. look at vero or home from home not these cowboys.. who are a broker on true sense..just want fee.. no work

Please note that this company had a 1 star rating and around 700 reviews 2 days ago.
Today it's heading for over 900 reviews and it's a got 2 stars already.
A lot of these reviews are single line and are from guests only.
Trustpilot can no longer be trusted, it has so far ignored this blatant attack on it's site and credibility.
Exgreedia wins and the corpoRATS celebrate at the expense of small business.
This is a terrible terrible company. Interested in only profit.
They scam owners and guests alike with service charges and credit card fees subscription costs all in the name of protecting us. In the small print the only thing that's protected is THEM
