I ordered a hover board from them. I recieved the board but it never worked properly. It would just shut down in the middle of a ride sending my daughter thrown to the ground. I though well there is a 2 year warranty. So I contacted them and they gave me an address to ship back for repair. So I paid another $50 to ship the board back. That was the last time I heard from them. Not only was I out the $220 for the board, I was then also out the $50 shipping. What a joke. My daughter also paid for this with her own money. Not a lesson she needed to learn so young.

This is the new face of organized crime!
The fraud investigation division of the RCMP must do something it protect canadians from these criminals. Using PayPal for instance will limit the risk so if a site doesn't use PayPal find a site that does. I have always had good resolution using PayPal.

Scam Company, making false claims on their website.

Purchased from them all seemed good, the product arrived it worked, my daughter enjoyed it. A few months later it stopped charging although the charging light still came on so not an issue with the charger, I thought no problem they have a 2 year warrantee. I submitted request to return and only got an automated response. I tried again, same thing. I tried chat, no response other than automated. I tried to call them, the number is no good. So it seems that they looking at others reviews I got kind of lucky, I got a product but at least if I hadn't gotten a product I could have called scam right away and gotten my money back.

We bought a hover board for our daughter's 7th. We didn't read reviews until after we ordered. (smart move!) We dealt with the notorious "Boris". We ordered using the "E-transfer" payment method, and thought all was well, as I use e-transfer in my business all the time. and thought nothing of it.

The next day we received an email notifying us that their CC payment system was down, and we were requested to provide an alternative payment method. We obviously found this puzzling, as we used E-transfer, and it had been accepted. That's when we read the reviews. Long story short, I thought we had been scammed. I had a series of choice words for Boris, and had our bank looking into the situation. A few days later I notified my bank to put a hold on the fraud investigation due to an email that read our hover board was shipped. I was not at this point convinced at the least, but I thought I would give the benefit of the doubt to Boris.

4-5 days later viola, the hover board showed up. I was very surprised to receive it judging by the reviews.

It was a bit of a hassle, but the hover board is in prefect shape and works as intended. Not sure why some folks didn't get theirs and we got ours, but that's what it amounts to.

No product, said they would reverse the charge as they don't use credit card system but I can etransfer the money, they did not reverse the charge on the credit card, I can't get ahold of them so credit card company will reverse the charge.

I am absolutely disgusted with this company. Paid for a hoverboard for my daughter's 12th birthday and paid extra for rush…they said they couldn't send it out until June so I asked for a refund. Needless to say no hoverboard and 240 down the drain. A complete scam!This company is a fraud. DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THEM.

Guys do not order from here i ordered hoverboard from here for my daugthers birthday after i paid them they send me email that they dont have this product in stock so i ask for my refund they send me email saying no problem we will send you yous refund is been almost week no email replied by them or my refund funken scamers i am so mad $200 SCAM, i saved that money for my daughters birthday gift they are SCAM DO NOT OERER FROM THEM PUT SOME EXTRA MONEY AND ORDER FROM AMAZON I GUESS learned my lesson ordering from goggle never again

Apr 24 – I sent you an email to follow up on the status of my order.

Apr 26 – I sent you another email to follow up on the status my order.

Apr 26 – Hoverhub sent me a notice of order cancellation.

Apr 26 – Hoverhub sent me a notice that a complete refund was applied to my account.

Apr 29 – I sent you an email to notify you that no refund has been applied to my account.

May 01 – I sent you a reminder email to notify you that no refund has yet been applied to my account.

May 02 – Received this from Boris Melikov, Marketing Manager,
" I can provide documentation regarding the refund which you can show to your bank and inquire about". I requested said "documentation", but have not heard from him since.

HOVERHUB.CA TOTAL SCAM. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. Take it from me. They seem trustworthy and take your money. You get nothing. No hoverboard and no money returned. I was scammed out of 245.00. You will not get your product and no one will email you back and phone is out of service. This was for my daughters birthday and I lost my money and she has no hoverboard. Please do yourself a favour and do NOT order from hoverhub.ca

Please DO NOT buy from Hoverhub. They take your money and no products and no way to contact them. There website should be shut down. Please do not be fooled like I was. Boris emailed me back many times until I paid him and I haven't heard from him since. I've emailed him 15+ times since and no reply. I called and it's out of service. I am out 245.00 and my child is out her birthday gift. Which he told me we would get but will be late cause they were backlogged two weeks. Please DO NOT order from hoverhub.ca

I ordered a board and 3 weeks after they said they were out of stock, so my son did not get it for his birthday . The said they would refund but it is 15 days now since and they still have my money !

We went with Wheelster and they have been great !! Board came in 2 days

SCAMMED!! Bought a hover board and never got the product and/or a response from this company. I want a full refund as soon as possible. It is unbelievable how low these people can be by scamming kids and parents.

Purchased a street boss for my son last year that stopped charging. Unable to contact company for repair for months. Voicemail is full, contact numbers online are out of service. Finally someone answered and gave me a address to ship for repair. I was told they are moving warehouses. I went to ship and was told this was a residential address. This was in October. I have made numerous attempts to contact to confirm/verify the address. It is now January 2019. No answer, no return calls, no return text. Looks legal action will have to be taken. I wish people would be honourable. What goes around comes around. I may be out $500.00 but they have lost so much more.

At first we were very happy…arrived on time and worked great but after using it a few times, it started beeping and doesnt work properly…they say they have a 2 years warranty on their product but when you try to call, their number is no longer in service and theres an other number where you can call or text but theres never any answer you go straight to voicemail and their mailbox is full….i tried sending multiple emails but never got a reply! This hoverboard my step daughter ( wich is 10) saved her money to buy it and it was 400$!!! The poor girl is left with nothing now

Only gave 4 stars because shipping took 2 weeks longer than expected.
Ordered 4 slikboard pros for the kids and they all work great. Kids absolutely love them.
After reading all the bad reviews after purchase I was worried I got ripped off but hoverhub is legit and a great Canadian company. Thank you

Is this a scam? Reading different reviews such as being patient due to Canada Post strike and not receiving purchases. Can please someone from hoverhub contact ASAP at 431-996-6567 in regards to my order #3732. I left message to contact on Dec 21st & no response. If I don鈥檛 hear back by Dec 26th I will take legal action. Please stop scamming people on their hard earning money & this is the child鈥檚 money.

Happy with my purchase! It was cheaper than the same model from amazon. After ordering, I read reviews that weren鈥檛 great, so I was a little worried that I didn鈥檛 research before sending my money. BUT I had a great experience and glad I did! They replied quickly to my emails throughout the process. Thank you! My child at heart partner will be a happy dude Christmas morning.
