I've been on Hubstaff Talent for about a year now. The system keeps "deactivating" my profile without any notice or even a reason. The worst part is that it is only when I try to apply for a gig that I realize that my account has been deactivated. Imagine going through all the trouble of curating the perfect application only to realize that you can't send it until the extremely slow and laggy support team reactivates your account.

Aside from that, the companies that post jobs there are super dodgy and immoral. Jobs advertised as full-time turn out to be casual hourly-based tasks in the end. Avoid at all costs! This is by far the most pathetic platform I have ever come across.

Unfortunately, I have had to give Hubstaff Talent a very bad review. I encountered a rogue web developer on the website. He caused us a world of problems. Hubstaff Talent does not even have a rating system for companies to leave feedback on Freelancers found via their system; unlike Upwork and Freelancer both of which have fully transparent rating systems.

I contacted Hubstaff Talent support and was told that they have not yet built in a rating system into their software; even though from my correspondence with the Hubstaff Talent representative it seems as if a number of companies have been asking for it.

I, for one, will NOT be using Hubstaff Talent again until there is an even playing field for companies to leave feedback about the Freelancers encountered via the platform. Otherwise, as a company we are simply leaving ourselves wide open to the nefarious activities of some very unethical and unscrupulous individuals…as we found out!

I have just seen the response from the Hubstaff Talent team to my Trustpilot review.

Firstly, I would like to commend the Hubstaff Talent team for responding quickly to my review.

Secondly, please note that my company does use and pay for the Hubstaff Time Tracking software. In fact, this is how the company made us aware of the Hubstaff Talent platform. We were happy and eager to support the company with their new venture.

However, thirdly, and unfortunately, I will not be changing my Trustpilot review of the company here or on any other rating platform; and, indeed, I think it is highly inappropriate for the Hubstaff company to ask me to do so.

I duly reached out to the Hubstaff Talent support team for their assistance to deal with the Hubstaff Talent founded rogue web developer.

I was informed that nothing could be done.

It is nauseating and abhorrent that this Hubstaff Talent founded rogue web developer is still touting their nefarious skills and services via the Hubstaff Talent platform and their unfounded negative reviews of our company still remain posted.

Surely, it would be somewhat prudent and exemplary of the Hubstaff Talent team to contact the rogue web developer (full details provided) and, as an upstanding, virtuous company, sanction him appropriately.

Indeed, I am sure you would agree, the damage caused to our respective companies by the miscreant behavior of this Hubstaff Talent founded rogue web developer, and the subsequent knock-on effects, completely negates the FREE Hubstaff Talent platform; and absolutely and totally far far outweighs the 5-20% commission charges of other freelance websites that DO have fair and transparent rating systems.

I truly hope you understand my position on this matter. I am more than happy to work with you in anyway possible to resolve this unfortunate situation.

Very good but pricy software for managing remote employees. It can take screenshots every 10 minutes, and you can make the screenshots be blurry for your employees privacy issues.
