Absolutely thrilled with my new Houdini harness and lead . The turnaround is a little slow , but the quality and craftsmanship is definitely worth the wait .

I ordered a new harness at the end of July. At this point the website said to expect a 2 week wait. After 2 weeks nothing had arrived at which point I went back onto the website and it said to expect a 4-6 week delay. This was annoying and I was disappointed to not have been notified. Waited until 6 weeks after ordering and still nothing had arrived. At this point I sent a message and got no response. It was at this point that I found all the negative reviews and assumed I wasn't going to receive my order. A few days later I sent an email. My order finally arrived the next day 7 weeks after ordering.
The product is fantastic. Their customer service and communication is awful. Clearly in over their heads and need to close the website to catch up with orders.

Avoid at all cost

I ordered 2 x dog harnesses on the 10th July 2020
拢58 paid in good faith
I got a confirmation of order text.
I still have not received them it's now 29th August.
I have sent numerous messages…….one was actually replyed to saying
(I was now asking for a refund, as I'd had to buy elsewhere)
"he thought that order had been sent he'd need to look into that" that was on 16th Aug.
Now its just an automated message replys
Still no refund or harnesses.

SAVE YOURSELF A LOAD OF GRIEF AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS
it's mind blowingly frustrating

It's such a shame about this company as the product is great, but the delivery times stated on the website are very misleading and customer service shocking (if they get back to you). If you are not in a rush to receive your product (i.e. you can wait months) then you will probably be happy once your product arrives. But unfortunately in future I will be ordering elsewhere.

Only reason I鈥檓 not giving 5 stars is the wait time for the product but for me, I鈥檇 rather wait longer to receive a quality product. Can鈥檛 find any other harnesses that fit as well as the indi dog harness and the fact you can choose the colours of the padding and webbing to suit you is fab. I now have 3 harnesses from indi dog – one custom order of an 鈥淚 need space harness鈥?and then 2x Vari fit. Definitely recommend if you鈥檙e willing to wait for a good product!

Received two vari fit houdini harnesses today and they are well made and as described. The website is a little misleading as it indicates a 2 week turnaround. Mine took 6 weeks to arrive, but that is expected when things are being made to order. I did communicate with the company. While not receiving response to email, Facebook messenger had a very quick and helpful reply. The items are worth waiting for. Most other harnesses are just not suitable for a growing whippet puppy, while these fit properly and the adjustment points are secure.

I have ordered before and the quality was amazing.best harness i ever had,great service and overal fab,so i recommended to others. I ordered again but was surprised about the bad reviews suddenly..now i know why! Order taken,no item received…i called 21 times-no reply.i emailed,texted,messaged..no response.while there might be a genuine emergency, surely somebody can put a notice up on the site? Stop taking orders? Its unprofessional to say the least.i have opened a dispute with paypal and will be reporting to trading standards.its a real shame,as many people i know have used indi dog before but if thats how you treat customers, you dont deserve a business

This will be my third order with Indi-dog, I have 2 husky鈥檚 and have tried other harnesses and as frustrating as the long wait time is to receive your order you just can鈥檛 beat the quality, the choices of styles and colours. The reason for 4 stars is the wait time, otherwise it would be 5. Others have mentioned issues with communication from the seller but that hasn鈥檛 been the case for myself. The delay in receiving your order is a small price to pay for the quality of these harnesses, I wouldn鈥檛 use anything else for my 2.

I have just received a harness and it is excellent quality. There鈥檚 a range of choice on the website so I could pick colours to match the things we already have.
It took 7 weeks to arrive so yes, slightly longer than initially expected however for the price and quality of the harness I鈥檓 pleased overall.

DO NOT USE THEM! they take peoples money and run, we will be reporting them to trade and standards, anyone who wants to join a legal case against them feel free to help out!

Maybe this will help make her mind up if she wants to run a business or not. (stop using family as an excuse, people have kids day in and day out you are not the first person to have kids and run a business. Either run a business or close your doors!)

As other customers have stated, Indi Dog are taking payment but not supplying the goods. After starting a PayPal dispute, I finally got a response from them and it appears Sid who makes the bespoke product has recently had a baby but had major health issues before this.
I explained that although this is not good, she must keep her customers updated.
She explained she was trying to play catch up with back orders, but perhaps answering a few emails and calls from customers make actually help as well.
Indi dog make amazing products but they really need to work on keeping customers updated if they are having health issues.
I hope they can recover and win back customers and take on board my comments.

Ordered two items from them in December 2019, one was a standard harness while the other was a leash with a SafeSnap that required a 6 week turnaround. It is now May 2020 and still have not recieved my order. Emails and messages to the company has not been replied.

UPDATE: The company appears to have sent my order out, 8 and a half weeks after purchase. This was after I opened a paypal dispute.

I don't like writing negative reviews for companies, but unfortunately I feel as though I have no choice in this case. I first ordered from Indi Dog in April 2014 and had absolutely zero issues with them. Delivery was prompt, customer service was excellent and the items were of excellent quality and craftsmanship.

My second to last order was on March 31st 2019. I received this order on 21 May 2019, so roughly 7 weeks from ordering. The company advises 6 weeks from ordering to receiving the items, so although a little late, I was fine with it. The item was of excellent quality and I was pleased with it. So I decided to order a second harness on 28th November 2019. I waited 8 weeks, giving the company a little leeway due to the Christmas period. But after 8 weeks and having had zero communication from the seller on the status of my order and the order still showing as 'processed' on the website, I decided to get in touch with the seller via Paypal to ensure a record of our communication and the ability to escalate the issue if needed, particularly as other reviews on the facebook page indicated that the company seems to ignore private emails from customers.

Within a few hours of sending my message, my order status was changed from 'processed' to 'reversed' which indicates that there is somebody from the company monitoring the website. And despite the company cancelling my order, I have not had any sort of response from them or refund. Nor did I ask the company to cancel my order, I simply stated that I had been waiting over 8 weeks for my order and yet it was still showing as 'processed' on the website.

It's a huge shame, because the company makes wonderful, high quality products and at one point in time, also had great customer service. But the customer service at present is shocking and frankly, not worth the hassle. I understand that running a business is difficult and can be stressful, but communication with your customers when you are not meeting waiting times posted on your website is absolutely vital. Had the company contacted me after the 6 week point with an update on how long my order would realistically take, I would have had no problems waiting several more weeks.

Unless Indi Dog drastically changes its customer service policy for the better, I will not order from them again and will no longer recommend the company to others.

I have mixed feelings writing this review because I would like to give 5 stars for the product as it is one of the best out there but the time it takes to receive the item and the poor communication from the seller really lets them down. I had similar issues with the last order I placed and although I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, I experienced the same communication difficulties again – unanswered phone calls and no responses to emails. Although I eventually received the item, it was later than the already long lead time of 6 weeks. It's a real shame because as mentioned earlier, the dog harnesses are excellent quality but the communication process needs a complete overhaul.

Months down the line and no item received. I echo what others have written, Although I received a response within a few hours when I had a query before purchase, I have been trying to contact the company for weeks for an update on my order and have had no update or response. The phone rings through and emails are not answered, I will be forced to raise a Paypal dispute

Honestly, I hate to do this but I have to leave a bad review so others don't waste their time and money. The product is excellent and I love the two harnesses I have. But I got them through a U.S. distributor at the time. This last order I ordered direct from the owner because she is no longer using a distributor and it has been over 3 months without receiving my items. I have opened a PayPal dispute and hope to get a full refund. It's a real shame because no one else is offering the same quality of product but if she cannot produce the items in a reasonable time frame or state up front that there is a 3 month lag time, she needs to stop taking money upfront for orders and start a wait list instead or something.

Do not order from this company. I am currently going through a PayPal dispute to try and get my money back as after almost two months I have no product and the company has not responded to any of my messages. I have tried contacting them via several different means and I know they are aware of this as a friend of mine has communicated with them via Facebook. They said they would get back to me the following day, which was over a week ago.

I really wish I had looked at the reviews on here before ordering. This company should not be operating.

After numerous weeks of waiting (more than six weeks), I was very concerned due to not receiving my harness so I opened up a PayPal dispute. I lost hope and thought it was a scam until today when my harness finally came through. I am so pleased with it and it was definitely worth the wait. I would rate it 5 stars however due to the amount of time I was waiting, I have only given it 4. My dog loves it! Thank you Indi Dog!

Have only just found these responses and am kicking myself for not looking BEFORE ordering as like all other responses ordered in September – money taken and nothing since despite several emails, phone calls will have to try to get money refunded. TERRIBLE COMPANY/SERVICE and am deffo reporting them to trading standards – its fraud.

I don鈥檛 like to give bad reviews but if this company is still taking people鈥檚 money and not sending out orders I think I have to say something. I am currently going through a PayPal resolution as I had one communication and didn鈥檛 send item when promised. I was prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt over their reason for not sending my item but it would have been nice to have been informed what was going on instead of just saying nothing. Such a shame.

I have bought two custom made Houdini harnesses at different times of the year, always received product and received excellant customer service. Found the Houdini harnesses to be super strong, when my sighthounds have been pulling. Never had a problem with the buckles breaking, which is amazing considering I have 5 stone of dog jumping, twisting and pulling.

Never received order for 3 harnesses and was fobbed off by lies and excuses. Was told several times they would be delivered on certain dates but they were never posted. After 11 weeks got a refund through Paypal Resolution Centre as seller never answered their communications with her. I do not recommend this company in any way the frustration with trying to follow up the order is just not worth what might have been a good result. Money is taken up front when you make the order which is bad form when seller knows they cannot complete within a reasonable period of time.

Terrible experience. Ordered from them 5 months ago, only to have no products, no money. I did get a lot of excuses, and at this point not even getting answers to my contacts. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Haven't received my order in over 3 months. Tried to contact the seller multiple times but they never responded. I have opened a dispute with PayPal to get a full refund. Do not order from this website! This 'business' needs to shut down.
