Indra had a sales Person come to my door saying they can lower my gas bill. On the 4th month of my service my bill tripled. Washington Gas was charging .65 per therm. INDRA charged me that + an additional 1.72 per therm for "Commodity Charge". It ended up being an additional $150. We paid our bill that month but did not question the price changing. It was not till the next month when our bill went over $300 that we noticed and looked closer. Indra Energy charged us $230 in addition to the Washington gas bill (again .65 per therm). I called Indra and the representative said "wow, that is high" I told her I want to cancel and I want my money back. She said "since you are canceling I cannot refund your money, or lower that bill" and "it will take up to 2 billing cycles to cancel"… so I have no idea how to stop INDRA ENERGY from this outrageous price . I am paying 3 times as much for zero additional services. I did not agree to this much of a price hike and this is false advertising. The person who sold me said they would be comparable rates to Washington Gas. NOT TRUE.
