I received a letter in the mail with a check for $1,993.22 telling me that I could be a mystery shopper for this company representing Walmart. All I had to do was activate the check online, then deposit it into my bank account, then wait for 12-24 hours to access it, Then withdraw the cash and generate the assignments. Then after I completed the assignments, I was to complete the evaluation forms, and scan and send them the receipts. The assignments ended up being two separate wire transfers, one was Walmart 2 Walmart, the other was Western Union. It wasn't until a day later that I was contacted by my bank and was told that the check was a fraud and I had been scammed. So, the scammers got money for the check, that I didn't write, and now I have to pay for it.
